I really wish I had seen these reviews before making my purchase with this scam site!

I made sure I read the returns policy before placing my order, and as it said returns can be made for a refund if the dress doesn't fit or you have changed your mind, I went ahead and placed my order.

Sadly, the dress was not as pictured on the website - horrible fit and not what I expected at all.

I contacted Shilla straight away and had an email from 'Linda' wanting a picture. I advised that I have packaged the dress up ready to return and a picture is pointless. No response, so chased 2 more times, and now claiming this with my banks dispute team. Fingers crossed I can get my £200 pound back!

Will also be reporting to Trading Standards & Consumer Rights.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would give 0 stars if I could, total SCAM!

I ordered 4 dresses from Shillas to be used as bridesmaid dresses after reading the reviews on their web page. I really thought I had found some amazing dresses at a brilliant price. I paid extra for them being custom made as I was getting married within about 7 weeks of ordering them, I also paid extra for guaranteed early delivery. They did arrive just a few days late but also there was only 1 dress that actually fit. The colour was not suitable, I ordered coral but they came in a really bright orange. They simply would not look right with my wedding scheme, and 3 needed quite big alterations.
I got intouch with Shillas through e-mail as they never answer the phone when I called the number provided on the web page, the number given is a London number but in actual fact they are based in China. They told me I needed to send pictures of each dress and they would sort. I did this and their response was "the dresses are not so bad, you could have them altered". Why would I pay for custom made dresses to then have to pay again for alterations? With regards to the colour they said the made them in the correct colour. On their website under their exchanges & returns policy it states if there is any problem or you do not like any dress they will re-make or refund you. They did offer to remake these dresses, but I could not afford to wait any longer as my wedding was coming round fast. They then insulted me by offering a 6% refund of the original cost... I paid £406.56, there was no chance I would consider accepting this offer. I have now reported them to Trading Standards and am in contact with my bank to try and claim my money back, however, it is not looking likely that I will be able to. I just wish I had looked more into this company before rushing into ordering these dresses, there are so many bad reviews online to read. They cannot keep getting away with this, it is illegal and they are falsely advertising.
Please read before throwing your money away.

Awful company. My friend purchased a dress from their website. As she doesn't have Internet connection my email was used for correspondence.
The dress arrived and it was hideous. Nothing like the picture on the website. It was of the poorest quality. Contacted the helpful "linda" for the return address. Two weeks later emails sent everyday she has given every lie and excuse under the sun but not the return address. Which on their website states returns accepted. The dress aswell as being hideous doesn't even fit despite being the company being given all the correct sizing. It was meant to be for my friends wedding basically her wedding dress. They don't care. They only want your money and they don't want to give it back.
I am surprised that Google allow them to continue to advertise on their website considering after hindsight my friend reading all the reviews. This company are daylight robbers. Stay away and head to town for a decent dress where your statutory rights will be honoured.
This company are not even in the UK

Unfortunately I did not read the review before I parted with the money. I would have saved myself the money and the hassle. Exact same story as everyone else, professional website & reasonable return/refund policy. Dress image was excellent placed order with credit card details.
Day 1 when dress arrived and I sent email to say I wanted to return & refund. Stumbling blocks were put in my way, looking for photos which I did not see the point of doing but eventually did. After 20+ emails, offering to pay for alteration locally or re-make dress, I got an offer of 10% of the cost circa 18 and I could keep the dress! This outfit should be shut down.If dissattisfied inform your Credit Card Provider and they persue a refund via Shillas Visa Merchant. They should not be allowed to operate into the future. This is not over.

Totally crap company

Only bought 2 of the 3 bridesmaids dresses we needed luckily. They looked awful nothing like the picture. I asked for a refund and was offered £14 I spent £180, on the pieces of garbage. Even though their website says if you're not happy you can have a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM QUALITY CRAP, CUSTOMER SERVICE CRAP. If I could give them no stars I would have.

Terrible disgusting people

Please don't buy from these people... it became apparent the dress was not going to arrive on time for my daughters prom so i asked them not to send it. They ignored this and the dress arrived a week late after we had to buy a last minute dress. I didnt open the package and tried to reason with them and send the dress back for a refund. They would not do this and after a battle of emails have offered 20 pounds back from a wasted 168 purchase. I opened the package a couple of days later and the colour and size is completely wrong too it looks like a fancy dress costume. They haven't even sent the 20 pounds they are terrible people trading under this name. Dont buy from these rip off merchants i believe in karma and hope this catches up with them one day. They are unprofessional and everything this world doesn't need.

It was very clear that the item could be returned but this is a real con so don't believe it. The dress was completely the wrong size even though clear measurements were provided. The quality of the buttons were not great either. Went backwards and forwards so many times to try and return it but they refuse to give you an address and then leave it so long that it is too late to have a new item made. I'm reporting this to my credit card company and to trading standards as it is all clearly fraudulent!

Ordered my dress. Expected it to look like the picture. It DID NOT. It was the original picture from a designer website and they attempted to copy the dress. I have pictures which i will try 2 upload of how poor the quality is. Threads ripped out. Cheap zips sewed in instead of buttons.
When i contacted them they said THEY CANT AFFORD TO GIVE ME A REFUND. After 27 emails Linda from Shillas offered me 10% of a refund or 30% off a new dress. So i would have 2 pay 70% for another train wreck dress if i wanted.

This dress is amazing! Especially for the price. The cut was beautiful and many people commented on it at the wedding I wore it to. It arrived a few days of ordering it and even got to have a quiet laugh at the fact I had the dress before being notified it had been dispatched... that is great service.

Spent almost £200, dress arrived late, nothing like the picture. Wrong material, wrong style, wrong colour, had zips instead of button, cheapest lace on the dress. And it was sewn inside out. After multiple emails they have finally offered me a 10% refund, which is disgusting. Please do not purchase from them, only now am I finding out about similar stories.

Only last week I reported Shillas company to UK fraud office after receiving advice off another customer.
I have just checked my Bank account and they have REFUNDED ME IN FULL.
I must be the first person to receive a refund off these people.
There`s now hope for you all.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SHILLAS

I bought a dress from Shillas for £64.99. When it arrived I was so disappointed, it was badly made, too big, wrong colour, so I returned it hoping for a full refund. They offeted me 10% of the cost of the dress, eventually went up to 15%. I refused. After over 30 emails I did not get any money back. They are the worst internet site I have ever dealt with.
This is a fraudulant company, stay well away.

I bought what i thought may be my wedding dress on 22nd july only on the basis that the website clearly states if you don't like the dress you are entitled to a full refund.
The day it came i emailed them saying its not quite what i was after but thanks and they have been difficult ever since! They are insisting seeing pictures of me in the dress which i have refused and are saying due to labour costs they can only give me 20% back! I have taken legal action against them. So annoyed!

Same as all the other reviews they are fraudsters and it needs to be stopped and investigated ASAP. I have contacted the police and reported it as fraud and I think everyone else should do the same. What retailer asked you to submit photos of yourself in items of clothing if it's not suitable? It's outrageous especially in this day and age.
I am so angry right now as I am not getting anywhere with the emails so I've gone back to my credit card to sort it out.
Please please do not order anything from this site as it is one big SCAM!

I ordered a red ball gown which in all cost £140 when it arrived it looked nothing like the photo online and had a cream netting which dug into the neckline. Utterly uncomfortable. Emails have gone back and forth asking for a photo of me in the dress and 'Linda' the person@ schillas saying she felt it fitted me well so no refund.
Do not buy from this web site the pictures are taken from elsewhere and then cheap and nasty copies are made by this scammer in China. Dont waste your money! I went to TK max and picked up 3 gorgeous dresses@ £23
