We ordered a dress that my daughter had her heart set on... I was very worried when I learnt that it was coming from China (to the UK) and when I then read so many negative reviews - but - the dress arrived 'exactly' on time and was an absolute 'perfect fit' and also, to my astonishment, extremely well made/quality (and I am extremely fussywith that kind of thing! Put it this way, the dress which we ordered had total cost of GBP £99.99 which £20.00 was delivery charge, but, would easily cost over £180-200 if bought in the rip-off 'shops'! Very very happy! And this is NOT a fake post/review! Sometimes people who have negative comments may need to check the sizing that they are ordering?!

Ordered my daughter the dress she really wanted it looked beautiful spoke to a friend who had ordered from this website a couple of years ago and got a perfect dress. My daughters arrived too small no where near the measurements which I gave them, beading damaged, colour different and half the beading missing from the lower half of the dress. Offered me 10% refund or remake which would cost me 70% or to make a different dress if I had wanted a different dress I would have ordered that in the first place! Credit card company said I had to send it back to get a refund. Have sent back to address on invoice no idea if it's the correct address as they wouldn't give me an address. Dress cost £185 and I've now had to pay £21.15 to send it back.

The dress itself looks O. K. The Quality isn't great but you get what you pay for. The problem is the size. I chose made to measure for my daughter who is very petite because we couldn't find anything to fit "off the peg". Well, what turned up is a dress several sizes too big and for someone at least 6 inches taller.
Customer services ignore their T's and C's promising refunds or remakes if the size isn't right - they just use this to reel customers in! I have been offered an £8 refund and a 10% off voucher for my next purchase... what makes them think I would EVER buy from them again?
This company is a scam and they are based in China - enough said. I just wish I'd seen these reviews before I placed my order.

I had my doubts about the website - have you seen the typos? And I hadn't seen any of the reviews on this site beforehand. I only saw these the day before delivery and it kept me up at night worrying. Received the dress today and was obviously skeptical. Others had said the material was cheap, and I honestly don't know how to tell if it's cheap or not so I may be a bit paranoid, but the torso bit does feel a bit... meh.

My advice for this site: I wouldn't advise it. I got off easier then others that have replied on this site. The dress is still fine for my prom coming up in a month or so, and it fits well enough (I didn't get a custom size, however).

This website is not worth the hassle that so many other people have seen. I would suggest going to your nearest clothing shop and getting a dress from there - at least there you can try before you buy

Do not order anything from Shillas, they are a fraud company. My mother and I ordered two dresses from there for my brothers wedding, they came out disgusting, wrong colour, wrong size ( even though they were made to measure) and all the gems/ beads were falling off. After numerous emails forward and back asking for the return address and to get our money back (£237.00) they said they would pay for the tailoring and dry cleaning fee as the dresses at stains on them. When i told them it cost £80 for one dress £140 for both, they denied a refund or reimbursement and said they will make another dress and i have to pay for the material! The wedding has been and gone now and i do not want a new dress! Altogether i have spent £237 on two dresses that we didnt wear, and they wont even refund us on one dress. Disgusting.

I have just received my wedding dress and it is perfect, after i had placed my order i read the reviews for Shillas.co.uk and did not like what i read so went straight to bank to try and stop my payment but couldnt so was very worried about what i would receive but thank god i couldnt stop it because my dress is absolutely beautiful fits like a glove and is very well made. I paid £150 for my dress including postage and package. Would definately recomnend this and it came earlier than date i was given.

Ordered a dress for daughters prom. Arrived on time and well packaged. Lovely dress but unfortunately did not fit! I am now on my 8th email trying to return it and they have just offered me a partial refund! I explained the dress has been out of the packaging once to be tried on and that's it, but they're having none of it! I'm waiting to see what they offer me, although I'm not hopeful it will be even half of what I paid! Such a shame as they have some lovely things but this is false advertising!

I am truly dissapointed and disgusted by my prom dress; I ordered a dress on the 8th of March for my prom which is on the 30th of June from this SHILLAS website.
Today I went to collect it from the dry cleaners for them to tell me that the dress is all incorrect - the zip is faulty, the skirt is inside out (the lining is inside out and the external part of the skirt on the dress is on the inside) and it had all been sown wrongly. Also, they had to sew many beads and sequins back on which were hanging off.
I am now no longer going to prom unless I get a refund on this dress as it was incredibly expensive and I cannot purchase a new dress.
I am extremely upset, disappointed, disgusted and incredibly fuming!
I hope no one else has to go through this and I do recommend purchasing your dress in a store and not online, especially from here!
