Purchased sharpers image Calm heating pad with massage option a week a go and now it's stopped working. The items have been using twice. No electrical issue at the outlet because my old heating pad is plug in the same outlet and it is still working. Purchased second calm heating pad with massage option and it was still not working after few used.
In the pass sharpers image products were reliable and I am not sure now. I post this review so you can decide before purchase mentioned item.
Ordered two fans July 2nd. No order confirmation. Days later an order confirmation arrived.
Then nothing. Story short they were out of stock. Then it would be three weeks. Then nothing. When I finally got through to customer service I cancelled my order. She assured me that it was cancelled.
Two days later a confirmation. Here it is August 23 and I get a This order has been shipped. I called and they would not stop the order. Sent me return labels and I have to take two large fans to a drop off. Of cause my credit card has been charged. The lady was extremely rude. I have asked for labels that Fedex will pick up from house and no reply from Sharper Image. WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Shame on you Sharper Image. You are not a high end company
I purchased an item as a gift and have been dealing with customer service for 11 days, numerous phone calls and hours of wasted time. The item was received back at the SI warehouse on the 7th of January and I still have no confirmation or credit.
Sharper image will not cancel your order once placed. You are screwed. I called them to ask them to cancel an order that was placed not even 2 minutes ago and they said no, i will have to wait and send it back on my dollar. It was a 700.00 purchase for my son for xmas. Now my son will not get the one thing he wanted for xmas and they refuse to cancel it so i can go and find it elsewhere. I went through paypal for finance and they refuse to cancel it also. Scam, all of them are scammers. It is sad. I will never use paypal or sharper image again.
Great catalog to get your interest, after that it goes to H___. Free shipping, except on your return and you want your money back, then they charge for return shipping (Have they ever heard of Amazon, who's kicking their b___.). Next one of their SCAMS earned credit and a gift card, but as previously reported by Carl M, they cant be used together, but you get them at the same time, Kohl's lets you use up 4 items when ordering there. Having their e-mail promotions to be automatically sent to my junk folder.
May keep there catalog for ideas, then go to Amazon to order, sometimes for the same item, but sometimes Amazon has a better quality item and after checking, Amazon usually has better prices for similar items. A shame that this company works this way.
Purchased a product on line as a Christmas present. Received a confirmation email for my order with a note that I would receive an email notification when the item shipped. I didn't receive this notification, and assumed the item was back ordered. I was surprised when my January PayPal statement showed that I had been billed for the item. When I called the store they told me the item had been delivered and signed for. The name on the receipt was not mine, or any member of my household. They told me "too bad" because I didn't contact them within 30 days of their shipment. How could I when I didn't know the item had been shipped I asked? After much push back on my part they agreed to give me a coupon for the purchase price that I could use to order something else. I was to receive the coupon via email within 3 days. 3 days has come and gone (and then some) and I have not received the coupon. I hope PayPal can help me get my refund.
I ordered 2 products, but the package contained only one, even though I was charged for both. When I tried to contact them, I could never get through. So I tried to stop payment. However, my credit card showed me that I had received a package so they wouldn't stop the payment. Of course, the package did not contain the product in question. When I finally got through to a customer service rep, she promised to send the product. That was 2 months ago and there is no product. Pretty clever scam, eh? Charge me for a product I never received and get away with it because a package, half-empty, was delivered. I wonder how common this scam is?
I bought something with a $25 gift card promo. When I tried to use the promotion, I couldn't use the black Friday promo. My "gift card" can't be used with regular promos. It's one or the other. So why bother. It's just another kind of scam.
Ive ordered from Sharper Image twice (a total of three products). I was happy with my orders. However, I was not happy that they subscribed me to Architectural Digest without my permission. I have severe migraines that are triggered by strong odors and newspaper and magazine ink are one of those odors. Ive gone on the web to www.dmachoice.org and opted out of all categories of mail so the only mail I should be getting is bills and other things that I have chosen to receive. I have advised Sharper Image that, since I cannot trust them with my information, I will no longer be purchasing anything from them.
I was happy to see that Sharper Image was reborn and eagerly ordered a Foot Spa Detox system. I couldn't get it to work, so I called them. The product in this case was sold by Sharper Image, but it was not "their" brand. In fact, it was a product that is normally sold to health care professionals for use on their clients. They offered no help, and referred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer doesn't provide support to those who bought the item for personal use. Without any help, I tried to return the product. Sharper Image classifies this product as a "Personal Care" product, and states that those products are not returnable for any reason. So, I have a broken foot spa, no useable warranty, and no return ability. They should have been left for dead in my opinion, not resurrected.
Sharper Image is a SCAM! I ordered a "high end" product from their website. Instead of what was advertised, I received a product on a plastic card! I could have purchased the exact, same item at my corner drug store! When I opted to return it (unopened) they charged me $17 return postage! That's insane! So, I returned my ENTIRE PURCHASE instead! I will NEVER AGAIN shop with this company!
They do not answer phone calls except if you are buying something, so I suggest you call saying you are going to purchase something! They do not answer emails.
I tried to cancel an order within a half hour after I purchased it, I was told by customer service that it was in transit so they could not cancel order. Not sure how an order can be in transit when I don't even have a tracking number?!?! I wanted to cancel this order because Amazon has a sharper image product $130 cheaper than sharper image!
Why can I get their products cheaper through Amazon than their own store?!?!

Ordered a Christmas gift on Dec 11,2020 (in the year of shipping disaters). Waited weeks knowing shipping was a mess. Called 1/3/21. Was told that FedEx delivered it to the wrong address and it was sent back to the distribution center. They could not explain why I was not notified, it was not immediately sent back out to me or refunded. I was told they would reship it and it would arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. On 1/25 still no package. Called back. It was never sent out nor was anything written in the computer. Melissa in customer service kept talking over me and implying that because I did not know the name of who I spoke with that it didn't happen. I canceled the order and not trusting them to follow through on the refund (given their track record) disputed my PayPal payment too. The degree if incompetence displayed was unbelievable. Save the aggravation and buy from a company that knows what they are doing!
I always Sharper image as a high end company. How wrong could i have been? I ordered an item for a Christmas gift on Nov 19. I received a notification on Dec 7 that the item was delayed and would arrive on December 13. Never came. Then i received 3 more notices before Christmas. Never came. After Christmas i was told that the item was back ordered. I was Never given that information or given the option to cancel my order and find another gift. Now that i am trying to cancel my order, i spent A long time with customer service and my only option is to wait until i receive the order and then apply for a return label and send it back and I will be credited a return. If you want the shppping experience from hell, i recommend sharper image.

The other reason not to buy from sharper image is they wont give you a cash refund. They make u buy some other junk that they sell
Free shipping and promotional discounts are deceptive offers. At checkout you will be charged for shipping, then an equivalent amount will be credited to the purchase indicating the purchase is free -- then you will be given a credit for future purchases equivalent to the costs of the free shipping which turns not to be free since it is added to your bill, so you end up paying for either the shipping costs or the so called free credit. But as the saying goes...there is no free lunch or in this case no free shipping. If you're an Amazon prime member the shipping is free and you can compare the item you're looking for to other like items.
I was so excited to purchase items for Christmas gifts that I thought family and friends would enjoy from Sharper Image! THAT WAS A MISTAKE. Almost everything was pure JUNK! Returns were difficult, at best. The refunds I received didn't match the purchases returned, and they wouldn't send me a breakdown of the deductions they took off of the returns. One bag of items has never been refunded. I calculate I LOST over $125 by what I would call their "swap and switch" purchase & return program. Don't trust them! EVER
After spending time researching a Sharper Image product, I wrote the customer service with a few additional questions. It wasn't a cheap product so I wanted to make sure. I wasn't too worried about the cost if my questions were answered but, if a company can't do that up front, NOT going to spend my money there! So sad that customer service fallen to the side!
I'm 5'2" and ordered the whole body massage mat. Well… the shoulder massagers are below my shoulder blades! I tried it on my bed and in my reclining chair. I'm VERY DISGUSTED with this $100.00 purchase!
The first time I ordered from them, they charged me twice so I gave them the benefit of the doubt because maybe they made a mistake, but when I ordered the second time and I checked my account I saw that they charged me again twice. I called and told them they charged me twice the lady that I spoke with said I see that they did. They refunded my account. I will think twice before I order from them again.
