I have spent an hour trying to figure out how to return an item to Sharper Image using their web site. First I could not find my order. Then when I figured out how to navigate to a return label, it would not print correctly, i. E. only a partial label would print. (They charge $7.95 to return an item.) So I had to take a screen shot and print that. Calling customer service is worthless. 40 minute wait with no automated call back. This is my last time ordering from Sharper Image. There are plenty of better companies to order from and I do not need the hassle.

Tried looking on-line for instructions to change the foils on their amazing shaver since the illustrations are so tiny in owners manual to be useless. Tried calling "customer service" for 2 days. 1st time I finally reached an agent after 38 mns whose command of English is laughable. I asked for a supervisor and was told one would return the call. No response rest of day. Called this AM and pressed option 1 to be called back. As of COB the same day, no call. The foils are so fragile I'm afraid I'd destroy them. I'll keep looking for a You Tube to help. Worthless "customer non-service"!

Bait and Switch

Sharper Image pretends to offer free shipping but does not. You don't see the total until you press the pay button. Very poor business practice. Will not purchase from them again. Even sneakier than Amazon.

Took over 3 weeks to deliver the item, arrived defective, couldn't get it to turn on. Called Customer Service, had to wait a very long time, then the Customer Service person was rude. I would never order from them again. Sharper Image is not the same as they used to be. Buyer Beware!

Free is isn't Free

You will be swindled into thinking you are getting free shipping but in reality they will give you back your freight after you pay it in the form of rebate. But you can not use it with other discounts and they will only rebate the freight on the new purchase. Stay away they suck as a company

I ordered an item from www.sharperimage.com on 7/10, paid the $29.99 for 48 hour shipment and today (7/15) their tracking website shows that the item has not shipped. I called their 1-877 customer service number and was greeted by someone who took my order number, looked up the order and said that it was shipped and it's FedEx fault. I asked when it was shipped because it has been 5 days, so if it was shipped after the 48 hours, I should get my shipping fee returned. He said that he can't find what day it shipped and then said he's not customer service. I don't know what kind of game or scam they're playing, but I want my item or my $199.99 returned!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
November 29, 2021

Placed a gift order and paid extra for gift bag... needless to say none included when opened by recipient. Customer Service said I would get refunded the amount needless to say I have yet to receive refund and the with the emails going back and forth technically saying I did not request until 1 week ago. Bottom line they stink and then call the customer a liar. I have the stream of emails to follow. Don't waste your time unless of course you have time to waste.

I bought something and received a $25.00 gift card a week later tried to use it and says invalid and when you try to contact them no one can help. Then try to contact them. Good luck with that. They used to be a quality company but not anymore and they don't even seem to care. Can you say out off business soon.

Incomplete Refund
June 5, 2020

Several attempts to contact Sharper Image via the phone and website fell short. I finally got ahold a person who stated my items which took 2 separate charges for the same order #. I received partial refund for the lower amount, and now being informed that I get only partial refund, Being charged $64.79 restocking fee for item that cost $30.79.

WORST company to deal with online. Period.

I ordered a gift advertised for $55.00 with free shipping. The website charged me $15.00 for shipping. So I went back to see if I missed something. Hit submit and they charged me twice for the item (110.00) and twice for shipping (30.00). I am now paying $140.00 for an item offered at 55.00. I call immediately to have them cancel one and they did - only they didn't. I got two of them in the mail in the same box. Even though these small items were in the same shipping box I had to pay $30 for shipping? I call to return one. All I get back is $40 because the are charging me an additional $15.00 from the $55.00 it was supposed to cost. I will NEVER buy from this company again. I ended up getting the item for $55.00 and paying $45.00 for total shipping. Use Amazon. You can hate Bezos, but at least they know what they are doing.

Poor customer service
December 21, 2021

I ordered an item for Christmas four weeks ago. I still have not received it. I called customer service and emailed them several times and they lied every time. It is now going to be delivered after Christmas, that's five weeks from the day I ordered it. I will never order from sharper image again, they ruined one of my Christmas presents. Update-I just received an email that my item will be delivered on 12-28 -the supervisor promised I would get it by Christmas. I just received another email stating that if you ordered today you would receive your order by Christmas. This is crazy-never again!

Over a year ago, I bought a heated shirt. I could never get it to work. The company sent me a new set of batteries. Those didn't work either. Now my daughter gave me heated slippers as a gift. The batteries worked one time and after that never fully charged again. I will never, never, buy anything from this company!

I put an item to see how much it would cost me! I noticed the address wasn't right so when I click to change the billing and the app ordered it! Within 10 minutes after figuring out how to cancel the order I canceled it! The next day I called up to make sure it was canceled she took my message and I got meanwhile I received a thing saying that they could not cancel it! Two days later they shipped it it cost me $17 to have it shipped back because my dad opened it by accident! They shipped it back I had to call and ask for a refund they finally sent me an email saying I had $93 credit! I wanted my money back! Then after being on the phone and waiting again she said no problem! A week later now I have notified that they gave me an $85 credit instead of the full amount! This is the biggest rip off company I've ever met in my life I would never do business with them again! I don't fill out these reviews when I've been burned but this I felt I really needed to!

When you shop at this store-they position it like you are getting a good deal. And with every shipment they send you a $25 gift card. Well the "gift card" is actually just a coupon code which they would offer you anyway. And the coupon code basically covers shipping which they charge you for anyway. Let me make this make sense. I spent $100. They offered me a 20% off coupon. Also the side was advertising 10% plus free shipping. Oh and i also made a puchase a few weeks ago and got a $25 "gift card". I could only apply one of these offers. So i applied the "gift card". So i had to pay shipping. The "10% plus free shipping" would have been the same as the "gift card" and so would the "20% off coupon". So i spent 100. And saved nothing. I still got charged 100. Even after all their scam marketing offerings. Just quit sharper image. Your free gift card after every purchase is really a $#*!ty coupon code that cant be combines with any other offer. Including shipping.

Item i ordered didn't work but of find that out, I had to naturally open the box. Once the box is opened, they refuse to accept return b/c it is a "personal item". All they sell are personal items & they claim to accept returns. So, there stated return policy is a lie.

Unethical practices

I ordered what I thought was a Sharper Image product for $50 but received an "as seen on TV" $20 product sold at Big Box Stores. When I complained, I was told they don't price match.
It was a bait and switch with no explanation or credit offered.
Obviously a clever, unethical practice on Sharper Image's part that I experienced first hand.
Buyer beware as I am sorry I didn't read the reviews about Sharper Image before I ordered.

I purchased a gift for my daughter for the holidays. She did not like it so I called Sharper Image to find out how to return this item. After waiting an hour, I was able to speak with a representative who sent me a return label. I took the item to Fedex the next day. Sharper Image never sent me a confirmation on receiving the product back, but after tracing it, I knew it was returned. I called today and after 1 hour and 28 min. My phone call was disconnected. I will NEVER buy another item from Sharper Image, EVER!

My son was given this for a Christmas present a little over a year ago. He hadn't used it in about 8-9 months. We decided to plug it in so he can start using it again. The light flashes on and off constantly and the charger and bluetooth does not work.

Lack of Customer Service

I purchased a Ultrasonic Humidifier from them. The Blower motor has go bad. I tried to reach someone who could tell me where I could get a part. The number shown on their web site is in Africa! They could offer no assistants. I asked them to provide a USA number or Transfer me to a Support person in the USA. They told me that they could not do it and hung up! I tried to e-mail they, but they do not provide an e-mail address. What they do provide is a link to Micro Soft e-mail drop down. I do not us Micro Soft. Therefor no help. I guess the only way to talk to them is to BUY a product on line. Will not be doing that again. Can not add photo of motor. Did not keep a proof of purchase. Under $100. I'm no looking for a refund! Just want to find a replacement part!
