I used to shop at Sharper Image when they were at the mall so I was excited to see a catalog and ordered over $800 worth of merchandise without checking the stores rating. Just looked at the toolbox that I bought for $189, took out a pair of the pliers and you could probably get them at he discount store for four or five dollars. They were loose, extremely poor quality and the entire toolbox can probably be purchased for less than $30. So I looked up the ratings and saw that this is no longer the sharper image I knew but a front for Chinese stuff that they were dumping through third parties the entire thing is a scam. The return policy is a joke if you open the box to see if the tools are OK you just broke the seal and it is no longer returnable even if you do return it you can only get a gift card or pay an exorbitant restock fee. I'm not going to hassle with this company just going to give all the stuff away and forget they exist; I suggest you do the same
Nice concept, doesn't work The first pair arrived as ordered, in large. Charged them and didn't work. Went through a tedious return process and the replacement gloves finally arrived in SMALL! Returned an unopened box. Two months later, I still don't have a working pair.
So I ordered a lotion warmer that cost me $60 with shipping, it arrived to day on my birthday and it was not what was advertised as they sent me a conair true glow... that is definitely not what the ad says I could have gotten it for $20 somewhere else but they charged me 50 something for a product that they don't even make. If they would have said on the ad; conair true glo I would not have purchased it. So thanks Sharper Image for ruining my birthday!
Beware of these very expensive headphones. Purchased first pair and they worked less than 4 hours. Reached out to return and they were replaced. The second set has stopped working within the warranty period and when getting online to replace their auto return policy says they are not returnable offering no explanation. Extremely frustrated after paying $99. Stay away from Sharper Image-customer service is almost non existent. They won't reply to email via their website.
Just purchased battery powered gloves for my wife. We walk everyday in all kinds of Iweather. She has renauds disease and her hands are usually blocks of ice. NOT ANYMORE... I cannot say enough about this product. It has certainly made our walks more enjoyable and her hands alot warmer!
Don't like cost $300. Says its very quiet NOT. It sounds like a flying saucer. A loud whoring sound. Makes a sound like one of those bug zippers, and does it quite often. Not very happy with it.
They charger for express delivery and 6 days later item had not arrive. Customers Service socks after half a hour still saying 10 Minute wait never get to talk to them or solve my problem.
I've bought previous healthcare gadgets (neck electrical stimulator) that works as advertised, but ordered four others that arrived today, and so far three of the four (haven't tried the fourth yet) don't work right. I will say, they must have fixed their customer service, though, because I got my call back with ten minutes and was given the option of exchange with a free return label. Rather have a working product now, though.
Customer Service is terrible! I heard a recording of Stephanie for 3 days 45 times since I've received a broken Smartphone Printer with additional paper & cartridges over $225.00 gift card too! It was sent as a Christmas gift. I would like a working one or a credit but it seems impossible. Vendors out there: Don't send clients sharper image Gifts!
This company only post 5 stars reviews. I wrote a review of the 3-In-1 Heated Neck Therapy with Remote. I gave it two stars, warning about my personal use. They never posted. Untrusted company, overpriced, everything cheap made from China.
I've been trying to submit a "one star" review about a bad product from Sharper Image. Repeatedly, over several days, I get an error message when I complete the review and hit "submit". Very strange "coincidence"! Do you think "4 or 5 star" reviews ever get rejected like this?
I'll never by from them again. After having an issue with a product 3 times of it being shipped broken and used customer service ignored me and did not do anything to resolve the problem. Why would you sell a product that is constantly broken. Highly disappointed. It's a matter of time before they go out of business.
My husband ordered a heated gloves for me. It was too big for me and bulky so I tried to order another product that would better fit my needs. I was told that there is no free exchange and I would have to pay shipping back. All you know the representative was not friendly and made it seem like she was doing me a favor by talking to me. I decided to return the product and not bother with exchange and ended up spending almost $30 in shipping. Very disappointed with this company and I would've rather have donated that money to a charity than waste it.
Worse service in my 71 years! They sent my purchased and paid for item to the wrong address in another town. Now have called them 3 times, talked with a supervisor... all promise prompt resolution. The item was delivered to the wrong address 4 days ago... absolutely nothing done to get the product to me. Shameful promises that never materialize. Go somewhere else... there are lots of options with much better service. I wish zero stars was an option!
They advertise free shipping, but it's not as it seems. It is "cash back" that you receive via email a day or two later to use on their website.
I bought this as a gift for someone and they didn't end up liking it. I had to spend $18 for return shipping! In total I spent $84.66 ($63.99 for the product and $13.95 for shipping) and I am only getting 50 bucks back. I guess they need these shady non-consumer friendly practices so they don't go out of business again...
The product is actually a Verseo Smooth electrolysis device that is sold on Amazon $30 cheaper and returnable if dissatisfied. Sharper Image will not refund your money. You only get a credit to buy more merchandise that they don't make, but can be bought on Amazon a lot cheaper. I won't ever buy anything from them again.
My unfortunate experience with SI started with an absent item. When one of the two items I had ordered did not arrive, I, thinking, well, anybody can make a mistake, and I received a recognition email almost immediately. Then, a day or so later I got another email stating the they would fix this in 1-2 days. Seven days later I called. What a mess that place was. Everyone was harried and I kept getting sent to the wrong place. Called back a few days later, got their commitment to refund my purchase to my CC. Fine. But instead they gave me a $25 gift certificate plus a small credit to my CC. Like I will EVER buy anything from them again
The worst mail order company to deal with! Had to return a Christmas gift I paid $ 95.00 for and they only gave me $ 57.50 credIt! Had to repay return shipping and other fees! Stay as far away from that third world company as you can! All crap made in china! Michael W Cahill
I ordered multiple items by mistake. Since that time I have repeatedly tried to get a refund for both items. I was on hold 3 hours one day talking to different agents. They were very nice but the wait time is insane. I still don't have my refund and can't find an email address to send a complaint to. I will never order from this company again.
How completely unethical to take a trusted brand and turn it into nothing but cheap Chinese garbage. And I really mean cheap, even by Amazon standards this stuff is garbage. And then when we returned the item for some reason we did not get the full amount back even though it was brand new still in the box. They gave us a $25 gift card with our order as if we're ever going to order again, and I returned it with the order but still did not get the full refund. Steer clear this place is not what it used to be, at all.
