I ordered and paid for 4 gas struts for a customer. After a week the goods had failed to appear and I was re assured replacements would be sent overnight... again goods failed to appear. Put in a claim and was told monies would be refunded in 72 hours after 26 days finally monies refunded. Placed order with Gas strut engineering items arrived next day! Would I use SGS again definitely not, disappointed and felt let down by this company and it's customer services department
Ordered the trolley jack and axle stands on a Saturday and arrived they before noon on Tuesday. Excellent when you consider Monday is their first working day of the week.
As many have amply remarked, this is a BEAST of a trolley jack and appears well constructed and finished.
To date it has only been used for one job on my wife's Nissan Navara but it did all that was asked of it with great aplomb.
Initial impressions are that it, and the axle stands which are equally well made, should provide years of reliable service... but time will tell.

No idea how I found this company but after lots of searching the internet I did. They solved my problem by being knowledgeable and helfpul. All the staff were really efficient and they told me exactly what I needed for the job I had to do. Goods were delivered as planned.
They knew what they were talking about and that is just so unusual these days with many companies. I will be keeping their details and will recommend them if ever I see the need.

Just purchased one of their low profile lightweight (not that light!) jacks to go under my MGTF. I'm delighted with it and their service.
Ordered 2 new gas struts for heki 2 roof light, Delivery was excellent and very well protected, As others have said they fitted exactly as they should only problem was the spring loaded cap to one strut was reluctant to come off and when it did it shot across the garden never to be seen again, my fault! If it happens to you these can be obtained on e- bay
Will use again if I need too.

This is the second item i have bought from sgs engineering the first was a set of 4 dollys and this one being a low profile jack. Both are excellent high quality items and delivered the next day. Easy purchase, ordered 3.45 pm Wed, delivered free by 12.30 pm on Thurs. Competitive price and easy to assemble with all bits provided. Which the dollies under the wheels the car is easy to move anywhere around the garage. Would highly recommend.

My purchase was a compressor, 14cf/min -100 litre capacity. Performs well, supplies my air chisel & impact gun without breaking a sweat!
Great sturdy axle stands, have used to keep boat and trailer off the ground. Ratchet system makes it easy to adjust the height under the trailer main frame. Having been using solid blocks of wood in the past and could never quite adjust height without the need for wooden wedges. Became a faff to do - with these no problems. Well made and safety pin as well. Top marks.
Ordered a big tool trolley, arrived in good time, rather difficult to get into garage but the delivery guys were great. Pleased with both price and quality.
Refreshingly the delivery guys did ring up 1hr before delivery which meant I could get things organised.
Excellent piece of kit, Well packed and delivered quickly.
The 2-Tonne Engine Lift is well-made and easy to put together.
All the fasteners are of good quality (and none missing!)
Cheaper than some rivals which are not as well made or as well equipped.
Would recommend it.

Recently purchased the 50lt Compressor and 5 piece spray kit, also the 71 piece air tool kit. Everything was in excellent condition on arrival and it did not take long to set up. Really pleased with the purchase and have been using constantly. Highly recommended for small workshop.
I bought a milwaukee m18 chx sds drill from SGS services and the service was brilliant, prompt next day delivery and great customer service including pdf invoice. Item arrived well packed as described what not to like. As a added bonus the item was cheaper than anywhere else I could fi d on the Internet. Will definately purchase from this company again.
