Dont waste your time.
February 12, 2016

I found a refrigerator that suited my needs with a reduced price due to a few scratches/dings. Most would be concealed so I purchased it.

I had to wait 1 day longer than allowable to offer feedback on searsoutletfeedback.com. The delivery window was made a little bit earlier than I requested so I left work early. Than waited until 45 after the original window for them to show up.

I was advised to wait a couple hours to plug it in so I did. When I plugged it in, I found out that it doesn't get cold.

Now I called for service and have to wait 5 more days for someone to repair it and I have to take more time off work.

So far nothing but a huge waste of time and money. I will never shop sears outlet again!

I bought a refrigerator online back in February then canceled it before delivery. After calling customer service on March 12th, March 31st and April 7th they still have not refunded the charge to my credit card.

Order confusion
June 26, 2019

I ordered a Thermador 48" gas cooktop on 6-25 received and order conformation the same day. On 6-26 I received a conformation of sale listing a completely different item a 30" electric range? Come to find out they both had the same part number. (how dose that happen) my service rep said they didnt have the 48" gas cooktop so they were just going to send a 30" range. Some times you just have to laugh.
Never again Sears

Won't buy an appliance unless I check Sears Outlet first. We were forced to buy a new washer after hurricane Irma and they not only had one in stock but several to choose from and at a great price.

I recently came into knowledge that several persons were shoplifting at the abilene texas mall and immediately sought to contact some loss prevention authority at the mall starting with seats which I got no answer
The collards which has no website that list phone number to report this knowledge. Then abilene mall which also has no website that gives number to report to. These people aren't serious about loss prevention I couldn't get through to anybody at the mall over loss prevention finally have up. Bunch of dumbasses just drawing a check!

Online shopping is supposed to be quick and simple. I waited 4 days for a confirmation that I could pickup the freezer. I called the store everyday and was informed not until we hear from 'them'.

We purcbased a couch from the portage, mi store for $500. The gentlemanhas asked if I inspected the couch and informed him I inspected it the best I could. Unfortunately i wasn't able to inspect inside or behind the couch. When my husband went to pick up the couch he was not informed of any damage, when the couch was brought in to my living room, I noticed there was something pushing against the back fabric. A main support was damaged. I had called the store and they informed me that due to the couch being sold as is and us not buying an additional warranty, there was nothing they could do. I took it upon myself to open the bottom of the couch in attempts to repaair it and discovered the thing was put together like crap!. The "main supports" look like they were just snapped in half to fit the spot instead of cut appropriately. Unfortunately basically the whole thing is unusable. A complete waste of $500

There was a sudden crush of customers, but although they were a little understaffed, Mary the sales person was knowledgeable and handled things with aplomb.

Purchased a "floor model" (i. E. open box, no damage, brand new) dishwasher online, pick up from Portland Oregon store. The store says they ONLY have 'scratch and dents', and admit the website is misleading.

Dishwasher looks pretty good, there is a slight inconspicuous dent, so I take it home. Sure enough, the frame is bent (almost impossible to tell until you install it) and the unit leaks like a sieve at the (non) seal between the door and the chassis.

There is no repair or replacement option, just uninstall and return to store for refund. Lots of trouble for no gain.

Sears Outlet website (corporate) has no shame.

Having said all this, there are bargains to be had at the Sears Outlet store, in person, if you are knowledgeable and keenly aware. The store is full of appliances, and with time and attention you can sift out the bargain pearls (good pricing, no obvious defects) from the crowd of damaged and suspect units. If you see bent frames, stay away, for example. Unless you can un-bend the frame without compromising function or performance, in which case you can buy a 'good as new' unit for the price of a damaged unit. You are taking a chance in the hopes of scoring a bargain, and it is better to being home an appliance which fails immediately rather than one which works just long enough to outlast the return window.

P.S. I returned my dishwasher, and instead of asking for a refund I rummaged through a dozen or more models before I found one worth taking home, and the good folks at the store gave me an extra 10% discount.

"I tried ordering a Kayak from Sears outlet online. I placed the order and paid for it and than I got to a page what said.: YOUR ORDER COULD NOT BE PLACED, PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
I checked with my Paypal account and to my surprise Sears had taken my payment out my account.
I would like to know if anybody else has had this happening to them. As the exact same thing happened to me in November when I tried ordering a fridge from Sears. Than it took me over 2 months and many, many calls and emails before i finely got my money back.
As this happened to me twice now I am sure this is a trick from Sears to steal customers money. "

SEARS OUTLET IS SELLING DAMAGED FREIGHT SALVAGE LABELED AS "REFURBISHED" AND "SEARS CERTIFIED." THE APPLIANCES ARE NOT REFURBISHED, NO ONE HAS CHECKED THEM IN ANY WAY, AND THEY ARE TYPICALLY BADLY DAMAGED FROM TRANSIT. THE PRICING IS REFURBISHED PRICING, WHILE SEARS PAYS ON THE ORDER OF TEN CENTS ON THE DOLLAR. THIS IS CONSUMER FRAUD.

I ordered one couch and a dining set with 2 extra bar stools on 03/26/2018. They told me my couch was ready for pick up at the ontario, CA outlet off of vineyard and that my dining table set and stools were at the corona, CA location. Long story short, it's now 04/19/2018 and they still don't know where my dining table and stools are at. I went to pick up my couch at the Ontario location and my couch was on display with tears, stains and marks all over the couch. All the employees at that location advised me to still take it or cancel it and that it was the delivery guys fault that it was dirty (mind you, they had my couch sitting in their store on display for 2 weeks with NO barrier when they're supposed to have it fully wrapped and held in their back storage) There was a heavy set wanna be blonde with poor hygiene mis representing herself as a manager and supervisor. When we asked her to speak with a supervisor, she said there was no one else but her. (Of course, that was a lie because the real manager ended up coming up to us and trying to finally resolve the matter) They told me they cancelled it and they only refunded me for half of my purchase. As of today, they're saying they can't refund me because they can't find my merchandise.

Had great customer service on phone. I ordered a glass top range online and called after to confirm I could pick up (local store scratch/dent item). No problem. Arrived and inspected and seemed ok. Got it home and next day in the daylight I started to realize it was pretty beat up - well beyond the dented drawer handle that was advertised. The drawer was all screwed up and as I began taking it apart to fix it (which required a good amount of hammering) - I saw the caster locations were all bent up and it was impossible to adjust them to level the unit. Also found a 2" Long crack In glass top caused by missing foam sealer section on the edge of the glass. No idea if it happened intransit or was like that as it's hard to initially see. But if it happened on the way home it was inevitable. They try so hard to sell you the extra sears insurance policy and I'd believe that's because a lot of this "floor model" / "dented" item equipment often has more wrong with it than meets the eye.

Also bought a washer/Dryer while there that was a floor model' and in getting it the house realized there was water in it and dryer lint in the pipe and all over the lint filter. Haven't tried it yet but worried now it was a return and is broken. Def not a floor model - bs.

Next time I'd skip the scratch Nd dent discount and buy new. Less worry, less hassle, arrives in good condition in a box with a manual.

Also ridiculous that they don't provide any info on the stuff in the store - model #, features, etc. just seems super scammy overall and sales people were mostly clueless about items.

I ordered a Samsung Range from Sears Outlet on July 24th 2018. The long and short of it: range was damaged, returned it, have been trying to get a refund since Sept 7th when they received it. January 7th 2019 still no refund. They have quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have called them counting, today Jan 7th, 7 times, spending anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes serially on hold only to have them tell me, that someone will email me with information in 48 hours. I have not received a single email. Their strategy seems to be to wear me down, so I will stop calling. But I cant afford to ignore $2000 on my credit card that I have now been paying interest on since August 2018. I tried a credit card dispute, but Sears told credit card people they never received the range, even though Sears Outlet customer service confirmed that they received it on Sept 7th. I cant help but feel Sears Outlet.com has robbed me and I am helpless. So as I said abandon hope all who order here.

So they promote the Make a Wish Foundation fundraiser that offers an EXTRA 15% savings when you make a $10 donation. Well, to make a long story short, they NEVER gave me the 15% off the price listed on the website. Everyone I spoke with online (email & phone) told me that the 15% off is already applied to the price shown online. They also stated that their website clarified that the 15% off was already applied. One gal even told me that customers get the 15% off whether they make a donation or not. The website clearly advertises that customers get 'an EXTRA 15% savings' when you make a donation and also states that the discount is taken off the promotional price. Not one person could direct me to where the clarification was that the 15% was already applied to the price. It took forever to talk to a manager. FALSE ADVERTISING. This made me so upset, especially since it was related to an amazing foundation. I cancelled my order and they refunded me what I paid for the washer and kept my donation, which I thought was pretty funny. They didn't even say anything about not refunding my donation. Of course I don't mind that part though. Just weird. Customer service is horrible. Don't shop here.

This joke of a company charges the customer hundreds of $$$$$ dollars to ship damaged items so they can damage them more and doesn't even deliver or ship the damaged item to the inside of the home; They leave the hundreds of pounds of appliance for you to pick-up and carry into the home alone! If you don't kill yourself trying to carry it into your home, then the next death knell is the $250 to $450 charges added on to the $1000 bill for the appliance! The real joke is on the consumer who pays for shipping (and the company is named American Freight!) and the delivery people leave it outside of the home? The virus here is not the Corona Virus but the vermin that expect the consumer to pay for the cost of shipping the item because they don't carry the item in the local store! The company won't stock a particular item in a warehouse, whether locally or regional, but call their stores "warehouses" and expect the customer to bear the cost burden of paying for the freight! Expect the customer to pay for everything! American Not-Freight should be the name of this joke of a company!
