I purchased a Kenmore Washing machine on March 31,2020.,,,, WORST MISTAKE EVER. This machine never worked properly and their Customer Service promised, EVERY DAY FOR 4 weeks to pick it up for a full return and NEVER DID!
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, EVER! This is the worst scam ever!
No wonder Sears is going out of business. I purchased a range (Samsung Chef Edition) and it took almost 3 weeks to arrive and when it did, it had a basketball sized dent in the side. I called customer service (Indian call center) and they didn't really understand when I said it's "indented 2 inches". They thought the dent was 2" and offered me $80 back. When I told them that the dent was bigger than a basketball they said "Big dent, how about $100. I declined and told them I needed a replacement. They said someone would call me in 3-5 business days... 5 business days passed and no call. Will be disputing the charge with my credit card company, so itlooks like I will receive a free range complements of Sears poor service.
I ordered a kitchen aid gas range with a built in down draft. Was super happy because they had a floor model" for $1000 off regular price-said it may have a few cosmetic dents or whatever and otherwise BRAND NEW. So, I thought I was really getting a deal! That is until it came... The down draft fan and motor BOTH MISSING... which is the only reason I bought this particular range. And without these parts, the range completely unusable. I spent an entire day on the phone with customer service. Worst customer service EVER.
Never experienced worse. Gave them the opportunity to simply over-night me the missing parts, and they will not do that. In fact, they did nothing but give me the complete run around and long story short, they are NOT sending me the parts. BAD SERVICE, sent a incomplete product, won't fix it, so I'm being forced to dispute the $2300 charge with my card company. Trust me, I wish I'd went to the store, paid full price and not had to deal with this craziness.
Ordered an appliance online and called the store to check when it would be ready because I never got an email stating a time. The representative told me they have it there and to bring my confirmation email and I could pick it up today. Get there and they have me wait for an hour because their system is not showing that my order was processed and there's nothing they can do. Long story short I drove across town and now have to drive back across town with no appliance. They could care less. This is why Sears is going out of business. Poor customer service. Thinking about canceling my order and just walking in the store and buying a brand new appliances out right so that I can have it tonight.
I bought a SEARS washer and dryer two years ago. When the washer broke down, they sent a repair guy out to "estimate" the repair which is nonrefunable and $75. After paying a fortune to get the washer fixed... almost the cost of the washer... three weeks later it doesn't work. Now they want me to pay $5 just to chat with someone. Total rip off
I purchased a wall oven. It was repaired and delivered to 7 previous customers. I wanted to buy a new one and had a deal worked out them but they would not deliver a new one until the old one was returned. Six weeks later I called them and they have no record of it being returned. They will not provide me with a person to speak with about this issue.
The sales persons are great. They take care to explain everything. The delivery personal that delivered my appliances were crooks. They were supposed to take one of the old appliances with them. When we Asked them they told us we had to pay $15 dollars for each appliance we wanted them to take. This is pure and simple robbery.
The prices at the outlet store are good but the hassle of dealing with an incompetent staff and trying to get a delivery for over three weeks has been insufferable!
For three weeks they have not been able to deliver my refrigerator and I have travelled an hour 4 times to wait for the delivery truck that never comes.
When you call you should expect to be on the phone for a minimum of an hour if you have a problem. They dont even know where your merchandise is most of the time "its on the truck, oh! I guess we still have it here!" The staff doesnt even try to be helpful most of the time. I wish I had checked these reviews first. Be warned!

I purchased on the sears outlet a kitchenaid fridge.
On the description it said SCRATCH ON ONE SIDE
The fridge came terribly bad packed. No more than a piece or cardboard covering 40% of the whole unit.
Now that I have the item it has scratches and dents on the front. And one of the interior shelves is missing.
Besides, The fridge is actually NOT WORKING, a technician come to check it and the compressor is busted. This whole repair will cost 350$ for replacing the door, $70 for the missing shelf plus $400 for the compressor.
I am very disappointed because I was not expecting an item in such mediocre shape. Specially since they did not specify it.
I ended up paying more than the fridge brand new, plus my headaches.
I would stay away from that website,
5 times postponed deliveries, nobody ever, ever answering the phone.
When I came to the store I saw it myself, they just ignoring the phone ring, like they don't hear it.
Lies every day, will be delivered tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
I felt like a fool.
Order stove top 90+ days ago. No notice, no nothing. They kept money. They said it was a glitch in the system. Now the stovetop is not available. The offered10% discount on new one. Ha! I can see why Sears is bankrupt. They just do not care!
I can't get a return call, I can't get the problem resolved. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone trying to get them to take back the item I do not want, and give me the item I do want, and adjust the credit card, It is not difficult, but they can't do it, and customer service say they have no supervisors. ;)
I was our first trip to the outlet on the Dallas N Tollway. Jordan was totally attentive to our needs and not distracted by others activities around us. My wife was very focused on getting a quality mattress. He was knowledgeable of the stock and showed us the differences and the values of your higher priced mattress. He was very courteous and seemed to earnestly care about satisfying our needs. If I owned my own business I would try to hire Jordan.
I ordered a gas range online. Was told in the confirmation email that they would contact me within 24 hours to schedule delivery. No one contacted me. I called them, they kept me on hold forever. Sounds like they are in another country. They claimed they were trying to contact the local store that would be delivering the range. They could not contact them but would escalate my ticket and someone would call within 24 to 48 hours. No one has called. I now can't even get through to them or the local store. I finally found a way to chat with Sears home services and they cannot find my order. They gave me a new number to call and they can't find my order or phone number either. It's funny they found me long enough to charge my credit card. I have filed a dispute with Visa that will take 30 days to complete before I get $$ back. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM.
I called the store to make sure the range was in stock and was told it was. I also purchased a fridge. After a week of waiting for the green light to pick it up, I was told they were gone and my credit card was never changed. Yet, I look at the site again and see that the fridge (they had two), is not posted as only one left. The range is gone. When trying to reorder, the website seems to have a glitch telling me my address is not valid. Oh, btw, the fridge is now $150 more. Same fridge as I an tell from the posted pics. BOGUSS!
On June 6th I purchased a solar sign for our yard. While it arrived when it should have, it arrived missing a key part. I emailed these people twice but got no response. Now I have a sign that I can't use and had to throw out because without one of the stakes I could not secure it into the ground properly. Waste of money! These people will never get back to you if there's a problem. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!
I purchased a refrigerator online. When I arrived to pick it up it had a large dent in the front. When I told them I would like to return it they were pleasant but showed me other options and offered an exchange. There were so many that I was over whelmed but the sales person listened to what I wanted and narrowed it down. I was very unhappy with my purchase but the sales person quickly fixed my frustration. I will never purchase online again but I will go to the store in person.
The short version of what happened: It's been 1.5 months since we ordered our washer / dryer and we have the wrong washer / dryer sitting in our garage.
We ordered a washer / dryer. 3 weeks later we notice that the balance was refunded to us. No call, email or any type of notification. We called the store 5 times over the proceeding 3 weeks. They couldn't figure out what to do and promised they would call us back within a day each time. They didn't call us back a single time. Eventually we get them to order us new machines and the wrong ones arrived (and they forgot the hose). I'm sitting here on hold waiting to talk to the next person after being transferred for the sixth time. The last lady I talked to said she couldn't help me because I ordered it in store. I then told her that I ordered it online and she said she couldn't help me because I ordered it online.
What a shame. Products that need sold but only willing to ship at their exorbitant pricing/discretion. Not willing to ship to a closer outlet or use other methods of shipping. Guess we are crossing off SEARS completely from our shopping lists.
We were interested in a microwave at a Sears Outlet in the Chicagoland suburbs and wanted to see if they would ship to Kansas City Outlet but they were unable to and for a shipping charge was approx. $250 just for transport (UPS/FedEX/Speedee -NO!) only option is rail then delivery truck... RIP OFF... :(
If you are shopping at Sears Outlet, buy only the new product they sell. The return tested product is not what you think. Much of it is never tested until it gets to the customers home. The customer is doing the testing for Sears Outlet. The DOA product is very common and the stores spend much of their time correcting it. Shop Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy. You will buy it new for about the same price.
Answer: Better price on line. I googled the price of the product and thought they are the same brand "Whirlpool" and the quality should be the same. However, it is not true!
Answer: Searsout cheated me when I bought an electric oven from them! No warranty! Even 1-year warranty! Nothing!
