My original order was placed for a Bass Pro Tracker boat. The one I received was too large. Seal Skin quickly accepted my return and replaced the cover with the proper fitting one. It is very well made and shortly after covering the boat we were hit with a heavy rain. The cover did what it was supposed to do and the boat remained dry. Nice fit and customer service was excellent. One call, two pictures, and the cover was replaced. Seal Skin even paid return postage. Nice job. I am happy.
I wish to say that the response from Seal Skin was quick and professional, they honored the warranty and sent the link. I had the replacement cover in less than a week, although it was a different size, it works fine. I would definately refer them to all my boating friends. The only exspence I had was the $35.00 shipping charge. Thank you Seal Skin.
Make sure you read all reviews. Seal Skins covers are a joke. Customer service does not exist all pat answers if you can get them on the phone. They tell you one thing and do another refund then no refund. Stay away from this company. I told them cover would not fit they assured me it would it did not twice.
The covers are excellent in fit and quality. This is my 4th cover I have gotten from Seal Skin, the second this year. My only concern this time was the delay in shipping caused by the shipper, by damaging the original shipment in transit.
They personally found the proper cover for my motorcycle with the windshield and rear back rest. Obviously it didn't fit, after over a month of trying to get a cover the second one showed up, very very cheap worthless cover that wasn't even close to fitting. The temporary one I bought on Amazon is far superior. At this point I'm just hoping to get my money back. If you're looking for a very good cover with good customer service look up Empire covers. Stay away from seal skin covers.
The cover seems to be well made and is a good fit. The only thing I am a little disappointed in is the pole and strap device to help the cover shed water. I can't seem to get the straps tight enough and with the slightest amount of rain, the cover still sags and collects a great amount of water. Maybe I'm not installing it correctly. There were no instructions that came with it. Please contact me if you have instructions.
Cover does NOT breathe. Air trapped underneath the cover become SO hot it BURNED the paint on the roof of my Grand Cherokee. The only thing this cover is good for is repelling water.
I paid for a 10x projection 5 layer cover I got 1.5 layers car cover it fits like a mini skirt on my car it won't even keep the dust off my car the worst car cover I ever got. They don't answer the phone or call you back they must have Stevie Wonder making there car covers and doing quality control.The worst car cover!
Purchased a boat cover that multiple reps claimed would fit my boat. Well, the cover was 2 feet to small. Gave up trying to return and kept it. 4 months using it the top velcro seam has ripped and the twine to cinch the cover on broke in half.
Finally got approved for warranty replacement. Of course had to pay $35 to get return label emailed. Paid and it allowed me to use a coupon code and got $3.50 off. Sent all my info in and heard nothing for a week. Contacted them a couple times by chat, unable to get anyone by phone or email to reply, and they kept saying 1-2 days. A week later they finally replied by email and wanted the $3.50 and said you can't use a coupon. Well it allowed me so why not? Anyway I paid the $3.50 and resent everything. Still nothing no label. Chatted the next day and now another 1-2 days wait and oh your account just wasn't updated. Well it has been 3 days and no label still. Terrible covers for boats. They claim guaranteed to fit but they reps gave me wrong size. Then they said well it isn't custom fit so may be a little 2 short or long. 2 feet is more than a little. Unfortunately they will not refund me.
I waited to see how long my cover actually lasted before posting a review and I am sad to day only 2 years before it started to wear thin and deteriorate. It was a cover for my truck that the company sells as an all weather exterior cover. I purchased on February 10th 2020 for $152.99 and the company will not return my calls to warranty or replace it. Buyer be ware...
Quality of cover is good. Protects the car well, good fit. The only concern or complaint I have is the seal in which the cable passes through and the lock are very weak. A strong gust of wind pulled the lock and seal/circle through the tarp (see photo attached) and blew the tarp/cover right off! FYI this wasn't a hurricane by any means. I've since purchased reinforcements and no issues since. Overall I'm still happy considering the cost and how it serves on most days.
Works great! Since I'm old and short, it takes a little effort to put it on, but after a few times and a step ladder, I have the process down.
After providing boat make and model boat cover did not fit. Almost double the width needed. Resembled a throw over tarp which did not match the boat dimensions.
Send back with exact boat dimesions which were not followed and resulted in a worst fit.
Returned boat cover and charged a 20% restocking fee.
I would advice anyone considering purchasing a boat cover to avoid this company.
Already has some wear from the wind and sun. Too large for scooter model. But certainly better quality from what I ordered on Amazon.
I never received my order called several times was told give it more time. After almost two months of still not receiving my product I cancelled the order. No one apologized or even tried to fix the situation I said I need to cancel because it's been almost two months the person said okay and that was all. After 7 days still didn't receive the refund they had to do it again. Very disappointed because they look like they have very good covers.
Bought a pontoon boat cover in May. Arrived on time and undamaged. Then the problems began. From buckles not being sewn on to a size no where close to my boat. No cut outs for bimini top frame. So as instructed by their support team I filed a claim. Haven't heard from them since. No response to email, no response when i call, and when you try the on-line chat, they give you the run around when you give them your claim number. Suffice to say this is a one-and-done purchase for me. I guess I would call it a hard learned $250 lesson.
We wanted a cover for a 2022 Bulls Bay Center Console with T Top. We called them 3 times and were assured that it would fit. When it came it was not for a T Top. They charges a 20% restocking fee even though we had specified it was for a T Top. BEWARE
I ordered a cover for my pick up, they sent one too big. Sent it back and again they sent the wrong cover this one was too small. When I wanted to send it back they said they could only replace it once even though both mistakes were theirs. I filled in all the right fields about what kind of a truck it was. They let us send it back but charged a 20% restocking fee. All their ads say guaranteed fit, but nothing about they will only replace their mistakes once. I was planning on buying at least 2 more covers for a car and boat. They didn't care and no one I talked to could resolve this matter. I will never buy anything from them again. I tell everyone about my experience and recommend they don't use them. I wish I could give them minus stars.
