Normally the covers are treated with UV inhibitors and they reflect 98% of UV rays. The covers will keep the inside of the car at least 10 degrees cooler

If your car was parked in the sun chances are it got too hot under the cover. Covers almost make things worse. They ruin your paint and get really hot. Bad for the interior.
