Bought a seal skin for my sea doo PWC- looked goo- fit good / in less than 1 1/2 years the straps fell apart and water was inside ski? I contacted warranty department- i sent original receipt- received approval-asked to pay shipping of $35.- sent- received new cover 1 month later - looked much better built than original - Did not fit my ski -to small!/ Called and started all over -they will e-mail instructions-they requested a tag number-original order has no serial or sku # s -sent original order again with the year make and model just like i did when ordering original one- e-mail again-whats happening- waited- called again-our warranty team will get back to you/ second cover came - wrong again/ to small/ put on ski and take pictures and send with another e-mail-next day received confirmation of my request-1 week later the e-mailed - request DENIED- we have fulfilled our warranty ( Guaranteed perfect Fit) What can anyone do but write a review and hope it gets some ones attention! I have a home Depot tarp over my ski now(looks great) after paying for the premium cover plus another $35 shipping? Bought original cover 11-15-2019 not sure when it arrived and was installed - but it failed by4-25-22-Gauranteed for 10 years- read there web site order sheet- I just called again - sorry sir -I cannot do anything- I will notify are support team and they will get back to You!... Wow! Realy? You decide if you would buy one?
These covers are garbage! Purchased one two years ago, had to warranty it because it was fading. Shipped out another one for $35.00. Now this one's doing the same thing within a year. They fade and start to chalk up, leaves inside fur on car and now allows water to get on the paint. Asked for another one, they said nope, you've already had a replacement under warranty and need to purchase a new one! RUN! These are garbage and only last a year! Wish I would have read the reviews prior! Please band this place and search elsewhere! They also said it's a 10year warranty ha! On what? Place is a joke!
This cover is light and easy to handle. The best part is, if it drizzles overnight, I don't have to run out and wipe down the car anymore followed by the washing and drying of my old cotton cover. We've even had downpours and the car has stayed dry. Great product!
Below is part of an email exchange with customer service at Seal skin. The company did nothing to help me at all. The only option that was offered was for me to ship back my completely failed boat cover at my own expense and get another piece of garbage. It happened quite a while back and I am still upset about it. I was searching for snowmobile covers today and was directed to their site and I saw language promoting their product that was and is a complete lie. Custom fit - not at all. Great warranty - how about no warranty after 30 days on a 10 year warranty product. DO NOT BUY from this company unless you want the worst possible product that will not last.

Yes it is true the fit was less than perfect, but that was the least of the problems. The quality of the straps, the material, and the stitching were all terrible. They all failed! The straps broke (nearly all of them) the fabric ripped in the middle, and the stitching failed and the piece of $#*! cover completely self destructed. When it did fail, it did significant damage to the paint on my boat. This is completely unacceptable. Take a look at the pictures I attached to my first of many emails. Is my only recourse to give a full and truthful review of this company and the piss poor quality of their top of the line boat cover. I am not asking for money to repaint areas of my boat, just my money back. I would think that customer service would be something that should be important to a company.

Customer service on the other hand is low rated in my opinion.needed a warranty replacement and the attitude of customer service needs a big kick in the pants! I ordered a boat cover with cut-outs for a tower. The cover arrived quickly and when I opened it a to use 10 days after it was a simple boat cover, WITHOUT allowance for a tower. They would not comment when I called company but you must send pictures to their "support" dept. I used the cover as is because I couldn't wait for another cover to come. They suggested I could send the cover back and they would only charge me 18% restocking charge! Really? They screwed up and they were going to charge me? It's more complicated to return because I'm Canadian but that is their problem not mine.
I paid a premium for the "tower" cover and I have sent them 3 emails and they just say return it. I WANT A CREDIT AT LEAST FOR THE DIFFERENCE IN THE COST OF COVER!
Phoned and asked to talk to a manager and they say their managers have not access to take calls! BS

The cover did not last one storm. On September 22,2022, The cover was find on the front hood and bumper of my vehicle after a small storm. The cover was ripped and unrepairable. On Sept 9,2022 we covered our vehicle prior to leaving Florida, less than two weeks later we received an email that the cover was hanging off our vehicle. I am very furious. I just purchased this cover and it did not even last two weeks before it got destroyed. Now I need to go back to Florida, purchase another cover for my vehicle and cover my car. Order #*******863

I went to the Sealskin website to order a new cover for my boat. I chatted with an employee the exact year, make, and model of my boat. He provided a link to a page that he said was GUARANTEED to fit. It didn't. Then they wanted me to send the cover back and wait until they approved the return before sending the correct one. Leaving my boat unprotected the entire time. I refused and said I just want to return and the keep telling me they will charge an 18% restocking fee. Even though they guaranteed it. Go with a reputable manufacturer and you'll be much happier.
Original boat cover with 10 year warranty was purchased in 2018 and it failed in 2021 (3 years). Seal Skin Warranty Replacement was received in January 2022. In September 2022, all but 2 straps disintegrated. I reached out to Seal Skin twice to get help in replacing the bad straps and was informed "your warranty has been denied. You had your cover replaced under warranty and are no longer eligible for a warranty replacement "
I cannot recommend Seal Skin covers as original cover only lasted 3 years and they will not stand by their replacement product with substandard straps.
BAD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I'd think twice before spending $ with them. UPS showed my order being delivered and it was not. I called for help & they basically said because UPS showed delivered it was my problem, they would not help. Bad fundamental customer service and I'd guess they don't stand behind their warranty
The car cover is help to protect your vehicle and last longer and your paint won't be hurt is good idea to help your vehicle look new
