The service is a waste of money.
You can't cancel without emailing them.
They don't ask you to choose a scent if your queue is empty, they ship you a random garbage scent you didn't ask for.
Absolute terrible process, you are better off just buying the scents you want to try one time.
I got a subscription for myself and my wife. I went ahead and added an extra fragrance a month bring it to (4) total scents per month. When signing up for this subscription service I was told you're able to choose your scents each month. I went ahead spent some time found some I thought we would enjoy. All was well until today when I received an email saying my order is being shipped. I had a look at the order and to my surprise the company had gone ahead and choose all new scents that neither my wife or myself would like. I contacted support and told them to cancel my orders because in my books that was very deceiving. They did cancel my subscription BUT… there is always a but… they said that due to there policy they will not issue any refunds. So basically what this company is doing is having users sign up to pick nice designer fragrances once payment is received they change your order to less well known kinda junk bin fragrances and weather you catch it before they ship it or not they will NOT issue you a refund they will send you the bin fragrances and keep the money you spend for well known kinda good fragrances that you have picked.
It's deceiving almost fraud what is going on with this company. They lost over $100.00 a month USD subscription and I hope this review helps others from having there money taken and from being deceived by this company

I wasn't happy with this perfume. The scent was very strong for my liking. I like fruity scents and fresh and clean scents but this one was too empowering. I did not like the scent. This one was not for me.

The money, though? That was charged immediately, as expected.
After seeing the ads on Instagram for months, on July 22nd 2024 I *finally* took the bait and purchased a monthly subscription. I selected my first scent right away, and I was charged for the transaction. Lovely, I thought to myself as I expected to wait 10 business Days. (I'm in Canada)
Those days passed, and my order hadn't even shipped. I contacted Scentbird support on August 13th, 2024 16 full Business Days after my purchase.
"Your order is processing and will reach you within 10 business days"...hmm OK, cool.
Today is August 23rd, 2024. My order is still processing, and the thought of my perfume shipping is but a faint glimmer on the horizon. I have emailed support again asking for a full refund and cancelation of my subscription. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

My daughter purchased a six-month subscription as a gift. I set up a profile that only allows me to access the site to purchase stuff off the site. My daughter said it should come with one fragrance per month as part of the service - nowhere on the site could I find that benefit. So, I chatted with customer service and received some canned BOT response relevant to an unrelated topic. Rating this site on a scale of 1-10 - "ONE" I feel bad for my daughter as this would be a thoughtful give if the company was legit.

The gift redemption email you received is meant to guide you through the redemption process, including setting up your account, where your orders should be shipped to, and adding items to their queue. If you've successfully redeemed the gift subscription, your orders are created automatically each month based on the items you've added to your queue.

I've tried some other perfume subscription boxes and prefer Scentbird. They don't have as many niche perfumes as I'd like, and hopefully, that changes. The overall experience is the best due to the aesthetics, packaging, and the little details like the labels; even the samples outside the case look nice when displayed in a glass container. You can tell that everything was thought out. All the perfumes I've received have smelled good; some smelled "off" from other companies. I guess my only request is more niche or even borderline perfumes, which is why I'm giving it four stars.
Before, I was used to buying perfumes only when I travelled, thinking that duty-free shops had the best offers.
Now, I realise that Scentbird is the best store for perfume or cologne. They have regular promotions and offers that you can really get a nice perfume at a bargain price.
I have bought it already a couple of times, one for myself, and few as gifts. The quality is good and I am satisfied with it. They have wide range of options, and the website is quite good too, so you can easily explore the products online.

So far I've gotten 3 different scents. Waiting on my 4th. And I'm not impressed at all. 17$ a piece and they all smell like old powder. My next one is a ln Ariana one, and im Hoping I like that one. At this rate, I'd rather go into a store and smell samplers just to find a good one. I'm going to keep ordering a few more just in case it was hit hit and miss. So far, feels like a waste of money. Even at this price.

I started using Scentbird in November and they stopped sending product out in February reached customer service twice telling it was fixed and didn't get anything in March either but credit card been charged ….

I never received my order. I tried to contact company but only bots available and cannot answer my questions. They do not have live agents. Money lost, Product lost. Very unhappy 😡 Of I could give 0 stars I would. Please be aware.

I had a subscription to Scentbird for 4 months, but wanted to cancel. Trying to cancel through the app takes you to a page that asks you to give the reason for the cancellation, but the page never fully loads making it impossible to complete the cancellation. Using their "Contact Us" link just takes you around in circles. There is no customer service phone number to call. The only number I did find was answered with an automated message stating there is no customer service via phone. Eventually I had to go through my third-party payment program and have them cancel the recurring payments. Sure, it was a fun little package to get every month with perfumes I would probably never have tried, but absolutely not worth signing up for given the difficulty to connect with customer service or cancel the subscription.

I had my Scentbird account for almost a year, the service was okay, but very expensive. The reason I had my account for so long is because they make it so difficult to cancel. Additionally, I use anonymous emails for each subscription, and as soon as I cancelled my subscription, I started receiving very convincing scam emails to the address that was only ever used for Scentbird. So, that leads me to believe that once you cancel your subscription, they sell your information. Scummy company, I highly recommend you avoid them.

I love every scent I got so far! They definitely do arrive in a timely manner and I've gotten every single order I've placed. Even the ones from my subscription and they stay having sales! I have a larger collection of Purdue's I've never heard of and I love them just as much as the popular ones! The cases are cute as well! I really hope they add Valentino to their variety! They definitely have some name brand ones too. Hopefully they add Chanel too! I also like how you can purchase full size bottles too but hopefully they will do that for all perfumes!

I really like the option to buy a small bottle of good smelling perfume and that you can easily pause your sub. It is nice that you can pick for different months in a queue. I am pretty satisfied.
Im really glad I found scentbird as most fragrance delivery companies didn't deliver to Canada. Their application interface is easy to use and building your profile based on my taste was seamless and fun. I've always loved fragrances but could never commit to buying full volumes so this company allowed me to explore and discover different scents I never thought I'd otherwise try. Different scents bring out a different side of me, and I'm loving it. Customer service has been very pleasant and swift when I had to request for a refund on an error purchase I made. Highly recommend this company.

My order has not arrived almost a month after ordering and shows as "awaiting carrier." Meanwhile, customer service does not respond after changing the "expected delivery date" three times. Messages of "we are overwhelmed, so please be patient," are all I get. They are clearly too overwhelmed to run this business properly. I should have looked at the Better Business Bureau's incredibly low rating before buying anything from this company. I definitely do not recommend them. Save your money and buy from somewhere that you will actually receive your purchase and receive customer service if something goes wrong.

I really enjoy having the option of trying expensive fragrances without paying out the easy 60 dollars for an once of something you may not like all that much. I mean 3.4 oz can last a really long time so you want to you're going to enjoy what you're investing into. I think cologne can be important especially when it comes to taking pride in yourself and making an impression. I love Cedar, Sandalwood, Clove and Patchouli (in small doses). So it gives me a chance to look through designer brand products to see if anything matches my preferences. I love this subscription and can't wait to receive the next!

Don't waste your money. I signed up for Scentbird almost a year ago. The first few scents that I received were good, and then it went downhill rapidly. Not only did they not send stuff that was based on the preferences that I gave; they sent several women's perfumes. I emailed support to let them know that I had no interest in wearing feminine perfumes, and what happened next? Two more perfumes. There are still men in this world that prefer looking and smelling masculine than to looking and smelling feminine. It's really too bad, became this is truly a great idea.
My suggestion: take the $240 that you'll spend with Scentbird over the course of a year and invest in a premium scent (Tom Ford, for example will go a long way) or a couple of more modest scents that you like. Odds are, you will not like the vast majority of what this company send you.

Perfumes smell very different on different people so it's interesting to smell the difference between a perfume on myself versus that same perfume on my daughter but I absolutely love this entire concept and the business is top-notch as it pertains to the customer service and the expedited shipping to ensure that the product arrives when it is supposed to.
