I really am enjoying receiving all of these great scents! But I only gave 4 stars because I wish customer service were more available. You can only chat and it's like prerecorded messages. You can't get your problems resolved. Also, it takes forever to receive your packages..

Three times I had questions on how to navigate the app or change my queue. Every single time they got back to me the same day and not only explained in detail what to do, they did it for me. That may not seem like a big thing but these days real people in real service is... real nice! Thank you Scentbird!

This company is horrible

There is no actual contact to speak to regarding anything on your account or with your order. I have yet to receive 2 months of my orders and cannot get a darn person to contact me back, just a automated email explaining they moved. I've since cancelled my subscription and am raising hell about my money they took and didn't provide the services paid for. I'm putting it all out there!

Lousy Customer Service

Customer Service is non existent here. This is in no way to $#*! on the people who actually do the job. There are not enough hires and one person has to deal with everything. Tried to cancel an order immediately after hitting the pay button. Did not hear back until 48 hours later that it was too late. It doesn't have to be this way.

Want to love it but…

First two came on time. My Sept order never arrived which was a bummer. I wanted to try a new scent for my wedding. It's mid October now and still have not received. Customer service is awful. No response after two inquiries. Will try to cancel

Love the Variety

I do enjoy ScentBird as they have a great variety of fragrances. Quick delivery. And great customer service. The only thing I would say is the cost is a little high to include a twist up case. I feel that it should be included with the membership fragrance each month. Paying another $10 is like paying for another fragrance. I'd even be half with $5 each case.

I really enjoy being able to get a different scent every month. Just a little extra cost and you can get 2 or 3. Have had several that I like and a few I didn't. So now I know what not to get. There are many choices of fragrances to choose from. To try out ones you've never tried or ever heard of. This is a great plan. I highly suggest it for those who don't know the fragrances that appeal to you. Trust me you won't regret it! Sorry wrote this review at work so I can't add any pictures. 6 month member!

Bad customer service
January 24, 2023

Update 2/7/23:

They sent a replacement product so they did eventually correct the issue, Their customer service was very slow to respond - maybe they need to hire more people or maybe they are growing too big, too fast. I have loved almost every scent I've received and think the price is fair for what you get. I just wish they would go back to their original atomizer!

I loved Scentbird until they sent me a defective product (bottle doesn't spray at all) and have failed to correct the issue. I paid for a product that I have yet to be able to use, and their customer service department hasn't responded to my support ticket. It has been six days - that's ridiculous to me. I thought for sure they would send a replacement bottle. Now I'm wondering if I'll ever get a response.

I usually wait for special occasions to get the scents that I want, but now I have at least one special occasion a month when my scentbird order comes in lol. It's like having a birthday once a month instead of once a year. Customer service is always down to have a conversation and solve whatever problem your may have. And the selection is over the top.

This beats the old RCA music clubs, it's effortless, the best thing I've signed up for online! You get to select the type of fragrance you want to try, or by name, how often you wish to receive a new scent. And I love what they've sent me so far!

Save your money

Scentbird is too expensive and they charge a $10 premium price on all of the good scents. It's a subscription that would be great for people who know their scents because if you pick a scent you've never smelled before you're taking a risk of being stuck for a month with a fragrance you don't like. The cases the perfumes come in are horrible, they're magnetic and I was constantly digging in my purse because the perfume fell out of the case. I switched to fragrance.net's Purplelux club it's cheaper and not as many premium charges on their scents. You can get some popular scents with no premium up charge.

The website is terribly broken and doesn't work correctly it takes forever to load and if I try to change my account settings they don't save. Multiple months they have double billed me and then corrected the extra charges later ( I think). There is no way to be sure the billing is correct since there is no way to see billing details on their website, you just have to cross your fingers and hope they're billing you correctly, which is even more confusing for Canadian customers who have to factor in the exchange rate. The order tracking on the website doesn't update. Support is extremely slow to respond to you. Plus when I added extra items to my subscription they didn't include them in the order.

Absolute sham of a company. Subscribed in early November only to see my first month's shipment as "processing" but no actual product delivery. I received no email updates, nothing, but they sure took my money. I submitted a dispute with my credit card and received a refund, thankfully. This company should do the right thing and halt all orders if it cannot fulfill them.

Product Never Came

It's Scentbird said that my fragrance got delivered into my mailbox but it never did it was not in my mailbox I still have not yet received my order that I've already paid for. I'm leaving this review because I can't seem to be able to get any help on their business phone... I don't know what else that I can do... I honestly wouldn't even give 1 star feedback. Sorry very disappointed.

I love it!

I really love this whole business model. I don't use perfume super often, so its nice to be able to get smaller portions that I know will last me a while. The website itself gives a lot of information about each scent and it really helps me pick out some wonderful perfumes.

The only thing I don't really like are the new cases. The old ones works amazing, and felt sturdier. The new design is made of plastic, the plunger gets stuck, and its less secure, so I have had the spritzer move so it can get pressed in my purse.

I thoroughly enjoy Scent Bird. During the pandemic smelling and testing fragrances in the store has been disallowed. It is so nice to have this avenue to test fragrances before buying them. Additionally it's nice to have more time to spend with the scents rather than just smelling them in the store. It gives the buyer a much better opportunity to make the right choice when purchasing a fragrance. Things are expensive these days and perfumes are no exception. It's good to be confident in your purchase. Then too receiving them in the mail each month is really fun and something to look forward to beach month. Good job Scent Bird! Thank you.

LOVE the idea..

The idea of Scentbird is great! They make it possible to try scents before committing to them, and have a great selection of fragrances!

However, they lack communication even the most basic "your package has shipped". Most upsetting though is when things are running behind (and that's not the fault of Scentbird), they make no effort to make you aware. Trying to get a hold of anyone to figure out where in the process of receiving my package things are proved almost impossible until I said as much on social media.

So in all, I'd say the area needing improvement and keeping them from a 5 star rating is customer care.

I'm the kind of guy who likes to smell good. I wear cologne almost all the time even if I don't expect to see anyone just because I enjoy the smell. I also love having many different options and so I used to spend hundreds of dollars on different cologne but with Scentbird I can spend a fraction of that and have far more options. I haven't even run out of the cologne from my first months subscription because I've been alternating everything. It's obviously smaller quantities than a regular cologne bottle but I honestly think you end up getting more bang for your buck this way. My only wish is that they had a few more brands however that said the existing selection is extremely extensive so there's honestly nothing to complain about.
