Samsung operates on advertising higher values on your phone and reject the trade-in, saying it didn't meet expectations. They take still screen shots, doesn't prove it's your phone. 2 months, $600 additional charge automatically taken out on my debit card and I still don't have my phone back. I smell fraud, class action lawsuits on operating procedures. Interesting part is they will have detailed records of all the phones they rejected.
Purchased a Samsung 65" curve tv December 24 2018. The tv sat in all its original packaging (unopened) until beginning of June 2020. Had moved to a new house September 2018 and left it in a spare bedroom until ready to set up. Only 1 month of use and it already is broken. Shadow line down the middle of the screen. Called to get the issue resolved and was told due to the 1 year warranty being expired there's nothing they can do. They would send out a tech to fix it but we would still have to pay. Now I completely understand the whole warranty issue (if the tv was used since purchased) but if Samsung truly stands by their products they should have offered some type of help. This wasnt a simple case of a $200 tv. This was a $1500 tv that lasted 1 Month of use (perhaps an hour or two a day) I have an insignia tv that has last 8+ years and is still going. So buyer beware!
This company's service must be up there with the most abysmal in the world, they don't seem to have any idea what they are doing for such a big brand name very disappointing, someone in that company at the top must me seething at the site of 1000's negative reviews
If you are looking for a washer and dryer, PLEASE read this review. Samsung has some of the best looking appliances on the market. Looks are definitely deceiving. Their appliances are trash. Cheaply made and don't last. Horrible washer and the dryer isn't much better. I've had the appliances for 2 years and need a major repair that is going to cost a few hundred. Maytag or any other brand here I come.

4 years ago, I fell into a trap of a Samsung appliances. Changed every electronic in house. In 4 years, throw away a brand new Samsung dishwasher, called service 3 times on stove, throwing away the fridge now. And washer almost done too. Only 17.000$ investment not much!
I place a call and they say 3 weeks for service to come up. We tell them send the compressor as I bought and sold last 3 years truckloads of fridges.and by now I know Samsung compressor are sh&@!
They say sure, send a guy out 4 weeks later, no compressor, 250$ bill to tell me what I already know that we need compressor
Call back again; sure we will send the part but labor on you. Guess the labor 1500$ :) because the dam thing buried all the way back.
My daughter bought a Samsung phone. 5 months after purchase phone would not start after a full charge.
Called Samsung and spoke to several representatives finally asking for a supervisor. I was assured the supervisor would return the call within 2 day, but 4 days later I had to call back. Reps' all spout the "policy" and have no authority to accommodate a replacement request. Finally got to speak to "Sherwin" who claimed to be a supervisor. He advised that he, nor his manager had the authority to make any exception to their policy of returning the phone for repair. I asked him then to connect me with the CSR to get a return ticket number and he instead transferred me to the carrier!
Probably the worst customer service I've experienced and I have worked professionally for many, many years!

Dishwasher door liner failed. Warranty clearly states lifetime warranty if door liner fails samsung will replace with equivalent or better. But samsung does not want to replace bur provide partial refund. After several hours and calls they agreed to provide a full refund and then few days later changed their mind. Absolutely untrustworthy and a.al... pl do not buy samsung appliances even if they give them away. PLEASE BOYCOTT Samsung!
In a household with two adults, we have purchased a new set of Samsung washer & dryers TWICE in the last 8 years. They just seem to fall apart prematurely and require very expensive repair. For example, our newest washer main bearing failed and the authorized repair company wanted $550 to make the repair. We decided to switch brands to LG instead.
Don't buy anything directly from samsung website. I ordered a tv and they sent me the wrong model which was $1000 cheaper. Waited 3 months for them to bring me the right one. That didn't happen. Asked for them to pick up the tv and give me refund. 6 months later have picked up the tv and still no refund. You speak to people overseas, who are totally disorganized and seriously don't know what they are doing. Instead of having an office here, where you can communicate and speak to one person. I have called dozens of times with a minimum of 30 minutes and have about 30 emails from them apologizing, but I don't know how it can take 9 months to just give me what I paid for. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Can't explain how shocked I am that a huge company like that have 0 customer service or support. Do yourself a favourite and stay right away from purchasing anything directly from them.
Brand New Out of the Box Samsung dishwasher! Ran 4 months and had to get replacement parts! Still waiting for Samsung to have a service company call to set up appointment after third time technician did not hook up electrical wire correctly! No more Samsung in this house! As for the Quick Service company Not wanting them to come out to my home either!
The most expensive Samsung washing machines, Samsung refrigerators, and Samsung phones almost always break a few months after the 1 year warranty expires. Their exorbitant extortion robbery repair fees cost more than buying a new replacement from better manufacturers. Samsung company are total crooks. Any manufacturer is better than Samsung.

When you talk to them, they use the strategy to ware you until you give up.
This is the worst online store. If you try to buy white goods you enter a delivery date and then wait for weeks for the items not to arrive. You will then go for weeks of online chat and be told they are escalating your case but nothing will happen. Eventually they will just mark you items as delivered even though they have not left the warehouse and will just try and get you to cancel. It seems to be happening to everyone. They are an absolute joke. I've never known such an incompetent online store. They can't deliver anything apart from phones. Do not bother trying to buy fridges, washing machines or ovens they dont appear to have any!
Got a brand new samsung dishwasher; defective on the right hand side door hinge. Contacted samsung, and they sent a contracted technician to check. The technician agreed that this is not caused by shipping or mishandling, because the damage is inside the machine. Samsung refused an exchange or a warranty service because it is a "cosmetic" damage. End up purchasing a new dishwasher from other companies. Absolutely NO samsung products for my entire life.
I purchased an induction range directly from Samsung because they offered good delivery dates. I received a confirmation of the date I chose. And then suddenly the evening before delivery they changed it to a completely different much later date. No explanation, no apology, not even notification that they had changed it. Just an email telling me to make sure I am home on "date X" for delivery, with that date being much later than the one I scheduled. Liars!
Samsung is selling there product assuring that they have global warranty, which fake commitment as there phone are giving problems in 2 to 3 months mostly with fold phones, I guess they need to work on the error caused for that phone and for international warranty
Samsung products have been fairly decent for me. No major issues for me. But Samsung customer support on the other hand, is a nightmare. If you have any issues, just give up. I have been calling a few times a week, on the phone for 30 to 60 minutes to be told my issue will be escalated and they will get back to me. Its been over a month, 8 to 10 hours later and i just keep getting pushed around. The worse part is, it is now outside the return policy window on these. I have never been so disappointed in customer support before this and it is very disappointing to see. Samsung was fine a couple of years ago with a product issue but this time they refuse to help me and i just get transferred around. Well, you win Samsung, I will stop calling. Or buying Samsung products.
Samsung has multiple class action suits relating to their defective refrigerators. Despite this fact Samsung is still marketing and selling this defective product at deeply discounted prices. The customer service departments are disingenuous at best. This company needs to be held accountable.
Hi I bought a Samsung stove from home Depot 2 month ago there is a sharp metal on the back of stove couple times we had bleeding when we clean the stove I went back to home Depot they told me there's a part missing to cover the sharp part you have to contact Samsung and The screen some time is not showing anything I emailed a Samsung couple times they are ignoring me it's not fair to pay $1000 for damage stove I'm going to tell everyone at work and my community never buy anything from Samsung The customer service is zero never again.don't buy anything from Samsung they are useless
I ordered a appliance package when it arrived the panels for the fridge did not fit, the delivery guys tried and tried them reported that they were wrong. I called Samsung right away and they said sorry we will get them ordered and ship to you, well no they did not. They lied about that and lied when I ordered the range they add a set of pans to my order for free as a gift. Well I have gone back and forth between e-commerce and promotion about those. One dept say yes you get them the other days no. So that has still not gone nowhere. Then I'm asked for a serial number on the range and guess what there is none and I can not get no one to answer me on that. My suggestion is never to buy Samsung. Poor service and there products are probably just as poor. Spend your money elsewhere. I guess I will contact a lawyer about this. Fridge is useless without panels and no warranty without a serials number
