When you buy from samsung.com, is it actually a direct purchase from samsung with no middleman or it is from some unnamed 3rd party handling thier ecommerce?

This Samsung fridge was purchased at a local Lowes store. Lowes would not help me in any way with getting service when the fridge stopped working.

Normally through "middle-men". I always intensely research what we purchase. This includes prices, so we have purchased Samsung from all over the place - whoever has it for less at the time we need it.

Yes, it is direct but do buy from them at our OWN risk!

Yes, it is direct. But stay away as they can not ship anything as promised and their customer service is full of bunch of liars.
