Recently made my very first purchase from this store. I purchased 2 bracelets. They are very pretty, but the clasp is broken on one. Too much trouble to return, so I kept it and will try to get it fixed. I then purchased 2 pairs of earrings. One arrived with bent posts. The other box, which looked like it came from the dollar store, was empty. There was a huge cut on the bottom of the shipping box, so not sure if someone stole them, of if the store sent me an empty box. Either way, I spent $314 on an empty box. Store refuses to issue a refund. I had just purchased a very expensive necklace from Saks Fifth Avenue, when I discovered this. I realize these are completely different stores, but I will not shop from either store, or anything with the Saks name, again.
I have been using Molton Brown Indian Cress shampoo and conditioner for years, and what I received from Saks Off is not Molton Brown. The conditioner arrived in a hand lotion pump bottle (it is never packaged this way) and is in no way near to the quality of Molton Brown hair care products. The scent is weak at best and my hair doesn't feel the same as it always has when I've used Molton Brown.
Even though I've been sent what is, from all appearances, a fraudulent product, Saks Off wants to charge me $10 for the return. I am just going to throw it away to avoid the charge.
Icing on the cake… the delivery person dropped off the package at the wrong address, so I had to hunt around my neighbor's homes to find it.
Just a horrible experience all around.
This is one of those, "you get what you pay for" lessons. Molton Brown is expensive, but it's truly worth it. Better off to pay for the real deal.
I bought a pair of pants, but it has a factory defect, a hole in it (see attached photo). I contacted customer service multiple times and asked for a refund. Eventually, after weeks of back and forth, my request was declined, with all kinds of excuses that you cannot even think of.
In April, 2018 I ordered a Tuxedo shirt for a wedding. The item was on sale for $183.0. When I received the shirt, I was shocked to see that Saks
Fifth Avenue sent me a used shirt wrapped in, what appears to be, a dry cleaning clear plastic bag. The shirt had a soiled collar, missing a button and looked raggedy. I called customer service within the hour, but all they had to say; "just return it to us and we will give you a 5% discount on your next purchase". That was the quality of Saks' customer service!
I made a return with several items. One of the items they failed to check in and will not refund my money even though they still "value" me as a customer. Now I'll need to dispute the charge with my Amex. And the dress was only $40, we're not talking about a designer item. Horrible horrible customer service. They very easily could have made this right.
Very bad experience, my black friday purchase was a waste of time and money. Clothings were defect where I had to make a return, they still charged me shipping fee. Customer service can not be found and if you get lucky with their phone number, they barely understand English. I will never buy any thing from Saks Off 5th.
I recently ordered an item from here and did not receive a refund during investigation for no valid reason. This place sucks and I will never in my life buy from here. If you want something shop somewhere else! They suck!
File a case for missing package item 6 weeks ago. Initial reply says under investigation, needs 10-14 days. Now 6 weeks pass still no further progress. Every time contacting them, same reply, we are investigating the issue.
Their replies seem to be from remote routine, I guess they get used to this, it is part of their job to repeat same thing without really taking action. These jobs should really be outsource or use AI instead.
Refunds are done intentionally slow. Charges are made before items ship - or made even if they don't ship. Call center for customer service is based in South Africa with agents who are generally clueless and apathetic. Saks off 5th e-commerce is as far from luxury as it gets. Borderline illegal in its business practices. Would give anything for a real person in the US who can speak / write in complete sentences to assist me (most recent customer service email read as if drafted by a 6 year old the grammar was so poor). Bottom line: I've been waiting over 2 months for a refund of items I didn't receive (never shipped) or that were damaged. I just want my money back…. Why is that SO hard?!?!?!? And why always giving the customers the run around? Beyond sketchy. This company should be audited and biz practices investigated!
I have ordered a pair of sneakers which supposedly were sent out 10 days ago. I am trying to call their customer (dis)service to no avail. Either they put you on hold forever or they don't answer at all. It is horrible and very frustrating! I hope somebody listens:-(
I ordered the expedited delivery of a FURLA bag through this site. Not only was the delivery delayed and I had to wait until my next visit to Mexico to pick up this backpack. But this is not the original. It's a fake copy! Look at the photo and tell me, Furla makes bags with such a back and handles?Never order from them! A backpack that was sold for $170 cost us $400 with shipping! Scammers! They took money from my card twice with some different amounts! There is very little chance that I will receive a refund if I send this backpack back, as there are many negative reviews in such cases too. Don't make my mistake and read about the company carefully before ordering.
This my second in a matter of 2 weeks that I ordered from off fifth and I have issues my order. Forget about getting help with their customer service. You hardly can understand the representative. They have 1 word to send you away "I'll give 10% on your next order"

I received an incomplete order, my discount was not applied and I am truly pissed with the representative that I cannot understand.
I cancelled an order since I forgot to click on the "signature for delivery" option in the shipping column, then I submitted another order with identical items as the cancelled one. But I was charged twice! They were already on my credit card balance rather "pending". My saks account shows "mastercard balance 0.00" for the cancelled order but they really told me nothing about the refund! Sent tons of emails and made many phone calls but none get replied! Since I used a China Bank Credit Card, for which credit card dispute is not available, I wonder if they intend to steal my money and pretend everything is ok.
Will never spend a penny at Saks off 5th again! Gross!
Placed an order for a purse last week, it immediately "shipped" out but really just the label had been created so I am just waiting for this item to actually arrive to the fedex center. The purchase confirmation email does not even summarize how you paid for the item, just the price total - does not list how long before the order is expected to ship. Then the next day I got an email asking to review my customer service experience with Amanda. Who? I never contacted support. Anyways a few days later I went to an actual store, found the same bag for $40 less than online... still waiting on this bag. I will most likely never order from here again.
Customer service unprofessional, can't answer any questions and fix mistakes from their side. Their manager rude, talking with nasty attitude, her name Melville, during conversation her dog did not stop barking. At the end she said that she tired to repaid over and over. She was making disgusting noises. They located overseas and definitely do not care about job their doing and Saks customers.
I ordered a set of sunglass at nearly $200. When the package arrived I immediately opened it to find an empty sunglass case and no sunglasses. They started an "investigation" and two days later said my complaint was rejected. This was my first (and last) order from Saks Off Fifth. They clearly have a problem in the warehouse and place the blame on the customer rather than fixing their internal problem. Buy beware, shop elsewhere.
The worst customer service and policies. They use the cheapest delivery courier and when the item was delivered to the wrong address they completed their investigation on the same day. This means that they never did any investigation, they just say case closed and steal your money. They don't even provide any supporting information or a reason because they are fraud. I have been a customer for over 15 years including original Saks, but NEVER again. It's getting worse and worse. I'm closing their credit card and will never shop there again.
Store associates are unhelpful, selling items that are irreparable and insisting that it is final sale without previous notice. You know after payment that with a pink receipt there are no refunds. So I got stuck with this shredded white dress that I did not see the damage before. Luckily one kind assoc on the floor alerted me. The cashier Ann and manager were very unhelpful and unfriendly. I left the dress there and left without a refund. Will never shop at off fifth or Saks anymore. Very disappointed customer.
Don't shop here. I ordered 4 pairs of jeans. I pair was not included. I called customer service and was frankly told this was not an isolated incident! The company has yet to rectify the problem. I returned the remainder jeans over 2 weeks ago. No response from customer service despite email on their website. I've spent thousands with this company. As I explained to them, a $59 pair of jeans is not going to make or break me, but it's the principle of it, especially when their own reps say items being left out of orders is a prevalent problem. Shop elsewhere!
I ordered a dress online which was on sale for $480 and in a few hours, got a cancellation notification saying my size is not available.
The next day, I check the same dress and it shows availability in all sizes but at a full price of $995. Their customer service over the phone was horrible and very rude. I wrote a negative review on their website and they never published it.
