I wrote an earlier review about my nightmare with customer service. This time I placed an order before 12/08, hoping it MIGHT arrive before Christmas since I received a notice saying it was shipped on 12/08 and would arrive on 12/19. Checked with FedEx on 12/23 and they said they have yet to receive the package from Saks.
Truly my fault for giving them a second chance. Fool me once…etc.
Just ordered a ladies velvet jacket that was valued at 588.00 on sale for 145.00 Iam so happy right now, not only arrived on promised date the fit is perfect and looks amazing on me. Will definitely buy again and tell my friends. Talking about looking fabulous to work.
This online store this so great, they always go out of there way to make you sure everything is 100%, for me and i order like crazy from them i have never had to return or any issues, they are so cool <3
I ordered shoes and got wrong ones. Called customer service and Natalie got it corrected and by the next day I had my order. Very fast and easy process. Have full confidence in Saks and that's why I continue to order from there. Waiting on my next order now and can't wait to receive it. Shop at Saks if you want a good deal and great customer service.
I messaged about a purchase I made they said they sent item to carrier then I get the order canceled days later. I message support again to ask what happened they brushed me off Rudely and ended the chat multiple times. I spent thousands of dollars here to receive such horrible customer service
I ordered a few things for my girlfriend to make her a gift to her birthday. But it took literally forever to deliver it. So I ended up walking into another store and buy another clothes and those which were delivered after her birthday I had to pay for them too. The thing is do not order here something if you need it quick
I ordered moderately expensive ($2K) earrings on 6/1/20 from a Saks associate. I specifically requested a gift box with a note. I received the earrings on 6/4/20 via mail order (even though I had expected these to be sent to the local Saks store) WITHOUT gift wrapping or a note. I immediately contacted the sales who was very apologetic, but did nothing to fix the error. So, 24 days later, I had to go out and buy a gift box to deliver a beautiful anniversary gift. Saks did nothing even though it would have been so easy to send a nice give box with the short note inside directly to me during those 3.5 weeks! When I complained to the sales associate, she was very apologetic again and the store manager offered a gift card which I declined. Saks just doesn't get the fact that they are an upscale store that needs to provide first class customer service, not try to "bribe" customers to ignore the poor service. I will NEVER shop there again.
I've been buying from Saks for a while and usually everything goes smoothly. However last time, they canceled my order because they didn't have the item in stock. They just emailed me a generic sorry for the inconvenience note. Beware!
It's a shame that a company 'sacks fifth Avenue" which is biz for over 120 years, not only send its loyal customers damaged goods but keep you on call for hours for a simple return. Also they make you return the trashy damaged good! Horrible, won't shop here EVER again
Saks fifth avenue has the worst customer service! I will be shopping Neiman Marcus from now on. They had me on the phone for 45 minutes just to place an order! I wanted to purchase gucci studded earrings that cost 2400. 00 and did not end up getting them due to their bad customer service! Not only did they miss out on a 3000. 00 purchase but they lost a customer! I don't recommend saks fifth avenue!
I have made my last purchase from Saks. I ordered 3 dresses. They shipped them in 2 different shipments. I was not made aware but they shipped them requiring an adult signature (with ID). I was not home when an attempt was made with one shipment. Fed Ex said they would redeliver it that night before 8 pm. I cancelled my plans and stayed home to receive the package but there was no delivery. Then, it was supposed to come the next day - nothing. Now they say it "should" be delivered tomorrow so I am supposed to sit home all day and wait for a package. Why inconvenience your customers like this without even letting them know that a signature would be required? By the way, the other package (that had 2 of the dresses in it) was left on the front porch with no signature even though it was shipped requiring a signature. Inexcusable disregard for the customer.
Saks has a very bad customer service policy. I wrote in a complaint that a package of mine, which was over $500 dollars did not deliver and the company wrote back with a 20% discount for my next order. I was really excited to receive my package and waited for the delivery time, when I found the package nowhere to be found they did nothing and did not file a claim to FedEx. I truly just lost so much money through buying from them.
I have gotten better customer service from a Etsy purchase than from Saks.
Beware of ordering something for a special occasion and using "free rush shipping" code offered... Did just that and it still didn't get here in time because they had to "verify my address." Could've just walked in the store myself but I fell for the offer online. Was graciously offered 10% off my next order, along with anyone else who signs up for their emails. Never again
I returned items to Saks by mail in December 2018 and still have not received a refund. I have spent an inordinate amount of time on this. No less than 17 minutes on hold before a person picks up... calls lasting over 45 minutes... multiple managers saying they will research and call me back to not hear back. Emails and emails. Around and around they go. For the first month they had lost the return despite me providing the tracking ID. Then when I provided the details of who accepted the return at their warehouse dock they needed another couple of weeks to figure that out. This was in January. It's March and still nothing. Over $1,500 dollars of merchandise. How they stay in business is hard to fathom.
Purchased a garment online for $158. When it arrived, it had an attached price tag that said $98. Called Saks to ask that the $60 be credited to my account. Three different people (escalating levels of management) refused to do so. Item has been returned, so they lose both the sale and a customer. I'm shocked that a so-called "upscale" retailer would act like this.
Omg. My husband ordered him a pair of gucci sneakers… surprisingly these black gentlemen boots came in the box instead. Some action must be taking. Someone has to be held accountable for this seriously they don't check inside boxes before they ship the product. I On the positive side I spoke to customer representative and they said that they will resolve the issue within 72hrs
I was trying to place an order on a Friday and my transaction failed twice, using two different credit cards. Both of my cards got charged due which a large amount was put on hold. When you call or write to them, you do not get a satisfactory response and try to shift the blame onto you without realising that it is their payment gateway that caused problem at the first place. They say they will release my held charge after 10 days, which makes no absolute sense since this issue was not caused by me.
For what Saks charges you'd think their customer service would be great, right? Wrong. I've never seen worst customer service any where. Even Walmart has better customer service than Saks. I wanted to write this review so others know that this is not a company that cares in the slightest. They dont care that you are a paying customer and have a valid issue. They are rude, idiotic and not understanding in the least. I refuse to support a company that doesn't value the customers that keep it going. They don't even give free shipping anymore. Saks is a money hungry trash of a company and they have lost so many customers because of this. I will personally never shop at Saks again. There are so many other stores that sell the exact same things Saks does but with MUCH better customer service. We are cosigning Saks' awful behavior by continually supporting them and that ends today.
I have been buying from Saks online for years among other luxury retailers. Of course during the pandemic you can expect certain level of disruption in order and return process. I understand. But what I don't accept is pure incompetence and absolute disregard for the customer. I returned several items more then 1 month ago. They acknowledge my return, but just would not post credit to my account. When you call them they are performing the same routine every time, they open various investigations with no result. And you absolutely can not get to talk to someone who is in charge. I strongly suggest that unless you can take the purchase to the store, don't expect to see you credit in your account any time soon.
The most horrible experience ever. Whatever you do, never shop from here. Took my money, sent me a broken item, I cut my finger opening it. Took WEEKS after calling numerous times and emailing to get a stupid partial refund...so Christmas passed without me giving the gift I intended or having my money. I questioned them weeks later when I saw this partial refund and they said I had to submit pictures. Mind you I already did. How the hell do get a picture of something in the trash from 3weeks ago. A hit stinking mess this company.
