I placed an order and was giving a delivery date. Since I didn't receive the order after a week or two I called and was told the rug was back ordered with no known date. Rugs USA never bothered to notify me that the rug was unavailable. They did refund my money promptly
I ordered four rugs at once, all on sale. Great prices, came fast. One of the rugs was not what I thought. It is more jute than cotton. I don't love it but because it is so heavy it is too expensive to ship back so I will try to sell it. Not the companies fault just is what it is. I would definitely order from them again, but I will be sure to really read up on materials because the pictures look sometimes better than the product.
Purchased a rug and it must have been used before. It came folded and will not lay flat. My husband breaks out in hives from it so was probably in a house with pets before mine. They won't do anything about it. Do not recommend buying from here! Can't even use my rug.
The website & search options made it so easy to find what I was looking for. I appreciated that when the website made recommendations - like for buying a rug pad - there was a helpful explanation for why they recommend it. The explanations helped me make a decision based on my needs & home!
I love pattern. What I'm disappointed in is that it's a black, gray, cream colored rug. I found Chunks or red weaved into the edge of on section. Very difficult to remove without potentially compromising the rest of the weave. It also is misshapend on the edge of one side. I guess I expected better from you based on a friend's recommendation.
I honestly have no idea how this company remains in business! This is the second time I've ordered from this lackluster organization and for the second time, I've received a rug nowhere near what I originally ordered. I've only ordered from this company due to their good prices but they can rest assured it will be the last time I do so. My first order took far longer than it needed to and after I finally received the(incorrect) rug, had to re-wrap it myself and wait days for pick up. Fast-forward three weeks later and I finally received the correct rug. The second time I ordered, I hoped my previous experience had simply been a fluke. Alas, my hopes were dashed, as I received the same results: an inexplicably long wait and the wrong rug. The warehouse must be run by a bunch of drunken Neanderthals because no one at this company seems to know a thing about how to actually sell a rug. Do yourself the favor and go to HomeGoods instead.
Can't complain about the online chat customer service. I was able to get a nice discount on my order when I pointed out the 10% off promo didn't take. Immediately posted to my card, cleared in a couple days. BUT, after 2 delays with a 3rd coming up, I decided I was never going to get the rug. Others here have commented that they don't tell you about the delays. They say they'll email, but they don't. So, it's incumbent on you to get in touch with them. Judging by the complaints of their customer service, I guess I lucked out with the online chat. They send a transcript of the chat immediately. All well and good, but doesn't result in a product. I have another promo code. Even if I find another rug available immediately, I won't do any more business with them. Going to go through a reputable business. It'll cost more, but worth actually getting a product.
I have ordered from rugs usa several times, and have been very pleased. The ordering process is easy.
This time I did not receive the rug I ordered. I was away from home when the rug arrived so my husband thought he would surprise me by removing all of our furniture and laying the new rug down, then replacing the furnishings... a big undertaking. (He did not know what rug I ordered and trusted that what arrived was my choice.) By the time I saw the rug, it had been walked on by family and pets for quite a while so I did not attempt to return it since we had "used" it.

Hassle free and expectations more than met. The living room and entrance way runner I chose compliment the new interior paint in the house even better than I'd anticipated. I was surprised by the depth of the hallway runner- thick and sturdy! So it made for an even better front door entrance rug than I had hoped.

There was an issue with the shipping of our rug and customer service cleared everything up and offered to send a new rug if I didn't receive the one I ordered.
The rug is beautiful and everything shipped the same day that I ordered it and arrived quickly (aside from the one rug - but it was an issue with the carrier)
Will be buying again!

This has been the worst experience. They delivered me a rug that was falling out of the packaging before we brought it in the house. I called the same day i recieved the rug and emailed them a picture of what they had sent me. They said that they would refund my money back because the damage was on their end. It has now been a month, still no money back in my account. Everyone I speak with says that "you should recieve it within 24-48 hours". I have called three times and now emailed them. I will never order from them again. They have been no help to me.
Placed our order and received a notification that it has shipped. FedEx states that it was loaded but there is no ship date. Delivery date was today... ship date still shows pending. Rugs USA can not tell me if the order was actually shipped. Customer service is worthless.
As others have said this is not a reputable company. Its the first time I have ever had to dispute a credit card charge. After realizing I had made the wrong order I tried to cancel 10 minutes later and they would not allow it. Any company that operates like this is a scam. I called to cancel and they said they would "try" but I keep receiving emails about my order in the process of being sent to me with no tracking number and despite my reminders to them that I canceled.
I ordered these rugs in advance of moving to a new house, with the delivery dates quoted prior to furniture being moved in, but there were several email notifications of delivery delays and the first rug and pad arrived after furniture was moved in, so everything had to be taken out of the living room to place it. The second rug arrived a day later, but the pad didn't arrive until more than a week later, so the same had to be done in the dining room. :/
I had an extensive online chat with a representative to make sure they changed the order to ship to my new address. She assured me the new address would be used. The (expensive) rug went to my old address. I think the new residents were going to keep it, but luckily when we had a neighbor reach out they did give it to us.

The rug is very good and I'm happy with it. However, it came rolled up and shrink wrapper which caused it to flatten out and left folds in it when I unwrapped. The folds still haven't completely gone away yet.
Thanks for extending the discount code. This Shag rug is so soft and matched with the rug pad stays safely in the desired spot. Perfect for our baby nursery as we can just throw it in the washer as needed!
I got a great deal, a 5×7 rug, and a 14' runner. The rugs are great,however a bit thinner than I expected.Shipping was fast and accurate, my biggest problem was choosing, they have lots to choose from...
I received the rug I ordered within 10 days. It didn't look like the picture of the one I ordered. I proceeded to contact Rugs USA through their LIVE CHAT, only to be sent an email form and have my LIVE CHAT questions squelched. Both appear to be dead ends. I didn't call because I knew better. A conversation with a customer service agent may have been able to resolve my concerns, however after reading all the bad reviews it's no wonder that the company's website doesn't have review capabilities. I will not be doing business with this company again. Wish I had seen the reviews before I made my purchase. Thankfully I didn't spend a lot of money with them.
I send my purchase to friends house because I wasn't around in 2 weeks. Then it gets extended for 4 weeks. The delivery cycle is the only crazy thing about ordering from you... but I love the rugs so I will put up with it.
Answer: The better price!. And now, with my experience, the prompt replies and customer service.
Answer: This is not a good business to buy from. They offer free shipping, but they make you pay for returns. Once you place an order there is no window to edit the transaction. I also requested to cancel my order if the address could not be requested and two phone reps refused.
Answer: You really don't want a bigger rug from these people. Read my review. It will arrive folded and ruined. Shop locally.
