Very Unhappy

From various delivery issues to items being extremely overpriced. Finally the correct item arrived but was to large for the space. Rooms to go would allow for an exchange of same value or if less had to make up the difference by purchasing other items I did not need or want. I did not see anything in the store I liked, so I settled due to their no refund policy. I m not a happy consumer! Their customer service sub par and I am now stuck with a sectional I do not want or too big for my space, along with very overpriced art work. I hate they do not allow for returns/ refunds. Will try and sell and go elsewhere. Doubt I will every go back to Rooms to Go

They Lied and told me what I wanted to hear.

Made My order online and through store 604. Very Happy with Product but the delivery assembly take away did not happen as we had discussed. I had purchased from Ed Zouhdi. Nothing happened the way it should have. I am not mad about the bed It is probably fine. I was told no fewer than 16 times that the old bed mattress and frame would be taken away by assembly people. I asked it to be noted on the order and it was. Ed called the store manager and was told it would happen no problem. This was a big part of this purchase for me to have the old stuff removed. I am not able to dispose of it. Bed came and delivery people were mad because the old bed was there. They smashed it up and left it in the bedroom. The new bed looks great first picture. But the old bed is still there second and third picture. I called the store and asked them to make it right. They said we will give you back a $100. But we are not taking the old bed. I said I want what I was sold and told. A manager said sorry for the confusion. I don't see any confusion just flat out lies. It's on the order to remove the old. It was suggested to me by a manager to call a trash removal service and have this removed. What has happened to my word is my bond? Not at this store. They tell you whatever you want to hear and then do whatever they want. There must be 50 places I could have purchased through. And next time I will use somewhere else. I have 4 more bedrooms to re-do but I wont be calling these lying people to do them. I think it's despicable for a business to take advantage of someone just because they can. And that is just what has happened.

I ordered children's furniture (a bed, 2 nightstands, and a chest) online from Rooms to Go on 3/12/2022 and chose the earliest selected pickup date (6/18/2022). My credit card was immediately charged $1,722.68 for the purchase. I picked up the furniture from the warehouse in Dunn, NC on 6/24/2022. When I unboxed the furniture the following day (6/25/2022) every piece was damaged. (The chest backing was off exposing sharp nails and staples, and the drawers didn't open and close properly. One nightstand had a busted corner and the other had damage to the back. The footboard was obviously damaged; pieces were not properly nailed together/had come apart.) I immediately called Rooms To Go and after being transferred multiple times and disconnected twice, I was told the most RTG could do was send a service technician to evaluate the damage. This was obviously an inconvenience for me. I had to take off work to meet the service technician because RTG provided damaged goods and couldn't rectify the situation over the phone. The service technician arrived at our house on 6/29/2022 to evaluate the damage and shared that all pieces were damaged beyond repair and that he would contact RTG to coordinate an exchange. He said that the wood was warped. On 7/27/2022 I took leave from work again to meet the team delivering the new furniture. The team was able to exchange both nightstands, but the chest and footboard they brought for replacement were both damaged. The wood of both pieces was cracked. The delivery team shared that RTG would contact me to set up a separate exchange. When I spoke to the sales representative handling the exchange, I was told the earliest delivery date for these two pieces is 11/2/2022. I asked for a partial refund as compensation for my time and inconvenience and was offered $50. $50 is less than 3% of the price I paid and at best, it will be 8 months before I receive an acceptable product.

AGAIN, SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

I ordered a product from Room TOGO.com which is took 3 weeks for me to get. Once I opened the box I noticed that the vendor did not send me the hardware. I contacted ROOMS TOGO and was told to send a email to special order and they will respond in 3-5 days. To me this is unacceptable to have to wait for a response from a company. When I contacted customer service I was told by Jamaal that there is nothing there can assist with as this order came from a vendor they use and not from the ROOMS TOGO warehouse. Each time I call to get a status I am hit with I am so sorry this has happened but we have not received any updated. I have now had to reach out 4 times with no resolve. I am stuck with a bed I cannot use.

Delivered damaged sofa and refuses return
July 10, 2022

We were delivered a sofa on the 4th of July weekend with a large cut through the fabric. Being a holiday weekend we were out of town so they are denying our return request due to their non-sensible 48-hour policy. I will continue to broadcast our horrible experience until you guys accept my return.

Please beware of leather living room furniture. I purchased the first set and within three years the leather was peeling. They gave me an offer to purchase another set. I did but not leather. I tried again with a different type of leather, not bonded. Unfortunately that leather peeled and cracked. Both times I had an extended warranty which ends in three years, which is when you finish paying for it. Furniture should lasts more than three years. I live alone so it is not like there is a lot of usage. Never ever will I buy from rooms to go again. They wanted to give me money to purchase more furniture, so I can spend more money. I don't want more furniture, I want the furniture repaired. So frustrating!

Customer service producr quality

Rooms To Go
Review of customer service and poor product quality.

Rooms to Go uses a 3rd party repair company that does not return calls.

The 3rd party repair vendor rep says the bent frame and slipping foam are not covered. The salesman or their 3rd party vendor has drug this out for months.
I initiated contact May 28th. Today is July 8th.

The terms and conditions were agreed to verbally and the a website is listed for review after purchase that specifically negates the detailes provided by the Rooms to Go representatives.

Do not buy their product nor the service agreement!

Such a bad customer service! I ordered 5 bedrr set 5 months ago I still waiting for Piece.

Over all they did like 12 delivery! This comamos is so stupid! And so not professional.! I got 4 times broken products! I ask them to deliver something a day after they send it 2 weeks after! We don't have our bed we slept on mattresses what a hell! I purchase with their credit card other wise I would cancel the whole order! A nightmare! And no one cares! They care when they get their commotion later than. Even they're drover are complaining on theirs terrible products that damage so easily and really sorry for the language such a crap quality! Stay far far away!

Se realizó la compra de un juego de sala ( $1.890 us)el cual fue entregado en abril, para el mes de mayo se reclamó que los muebles no tienen defecto de fabricación; es decir sus materiales de construcción están en perfectas condiciones, pero su razón de ser como mueble no se cumple ya que la base del mueble está realizada con cojines que se resbalan juntamente con el espaldar que son cojines q a la vez también se mueven y no permiten q su objetivo de comodidad se cumpla. Para sentarse se debe correr todos los cojines e intentar con otro cojines lograr sentarse de manera correcta para q la espalda no tenga problemas. Se llama al departamento de cliente quien en primer lugar afirma que sólo tenía 24 horas después de recibir los
Muebles para presentar reclamos, así mismo alude q el responsable para aprobar el Cambio es el vendedor, se habla con el vendedor y afirma q en sus obligaciones laborales nunca está definido ese poder, nuevamente se llama al departamento de servicio al cliente quien dice q no puede hacer nada por q insiste q el q acepta el cambio es el vendedor, de nuevo se insiste en q debe haber una solución por parte de Rooms to go y aluden q harán una revisión con un técnico para verificar la infraestructura del mueble a lo cual como consumidora informó q el problema no es q esté roto, o q se daño el mueble, el problema es q no cumple con su función ergonómica para q las personas puedan sentarse correctamente. Sin embargo se acepta q venga el técnico y finalmente dice q como el mueble no tiene problemas de infraestructura no hay modo de cambio. El problema es q están vendiendo muebles sin q su razón real se cumpla. Si un mueble no es apto para q una persona se siente correctamente y sin que antes tenga mover toda su composición pues en definitiva no cumple con su calidad real. Q decepción. Alguien me dijo no compré allí y terriblemente tiene toda la razón, es una compañía de solo Nombre por q de calidad y función están muy por debajo de los niveles de satisfacción como cliente. Quiero devolver estos muebles por q no me satisfacen y no cumplen con su deber ser. Rooms to go no cuenta con respuestas reales que atiendan a los reclamos de sus clientes

In my case, order took a ridiculously long time to arrive (over 3 weeks) and when it did, it was wrong. Getting them to fix the mistake takes even longer. Half my living room set is one color, the other set is still bagged in the plastic, waiting for them to come pick it up and deliver the correct color. They won't tell me when it will be delivered and I'm just supposed to be a storage facility taking up space for a piece of furniture I can't use... literally will never purchase from them again.

I called Rooms to Go Customer Service today, 6/7/2022 because one of the electric recliners on my leather sectional stopped working and the footrest is stuck in the up position. I purchased my sectional in February 2021, and have been a loyal customer that has purchased two sofas, end tables, an ottoman, and a host of other furniture from Rooms to Go since 2017.
The response I received was because my sofa warranty has expired, there is nothing they can do. The rep on the phone then suggested that I Google.
I understood that my sofa warranty has expired, but a company that actually cares about their customers should offer the ability to have a service tech come out to repair the broken furniture, and the customer pays for the repair. That would be perfectly acceptable to me, and much better than telling me, sorry, we can't help, and go to Google.

I love my Rooms to Go furniture, but I will absolutely never buy anything else from this company.

Went shopping for toddler beds found a trundle and got it easy right … nope most horrible thing ever! Bed came in and it was broken! Then delivery guys didn't care what so ever! Made a mess in my yard then made a mess in house! Didn't finish putting bed together just shoved it insert the top part of bed! I mean left a mess! Left mattress standing on a wall and stuff everywhere! The worst service ever! Then called our sales guy Christopher and he didn't give two flips and said what I needed! All full of attitude! Then called the store couldn't speak to a manger! I'm telling you will not ever shop there and will not recommend this place to anyone! I just want my money back and we will do a better place! I give them heck no and never again! This is in midland tx! Worst service ever! Managers are no help! Service aren't help! I'm telling don't shop here!

Rooms to go delivery department is a total scam they charge you and the delivery drivers have nasty bad attitude and customer care is so overwhelmed In customer complaints that they told me they couldn't help me I purchased a queen bed chest of drawers and nightstand the delivery drivers showed up on time and spent all of 7 minutes unloading the truck and took all the furniture in the bedroom and went to there truck and called customer care and lied and said I had to much old furniture in the room to set up new furniture here's a news flash I spent a good part of the day before cleaning up that room I have before and after pictures I have those two recorded on my ring doorbell moving all the furniture in less than 7 minutes ROOMS TO GO DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE VERY RUDE AND OFFENSIVE IM ABSOLUTELY SURE THESE TWO HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. They walked out of my house at 54 degrees outside left my door wide open and went and sat in the warmth of there truck. I am a 58 year old man struggling with lung cancer I have 54 percent of my lung capacity I paid to have this delivered and set up cleans the room because it's going to be very difficult for me to do this but customer care really dose not CARE. I have ordered a table and chairs from here I'm going to cancel it I truly feel I will never shop at a RTG store the whole delivery department needs an overhaul.

Fortegra Warranty

Never buy a warranty from these people. I bought mine from RTG with the promise that it covers anything that happens to my furniture. My son had a party and damaged the couch. I called Fortegra, sent them the pictures and planned to have them out. My mistake was that I caught covid and couldn't get them out to the house for a while. When I was finally able to get them out, they then denied part of the claim because it took too long for them to come out. The part of the sofa they did cover, they authorized the part that wasn't damaged, and am still fighting to get them to cover it properly. I would highly recommend against ever using them.

Rooms To Go Customer Service: 2 hours later from sitting on hold "Yes we can we re-schedule... the next delivery date we have is 5 months, 2 weeks and 3 days from today... will that work for you?"

ABSOLUTLY AWEFUL customer service!

I just bought a new home and decided to buy everything from Rooms To Go, I had one of the worst delivery from the Rooms To Go very unprofessional people are working for them from start to an end, please I would advise everyone not to shop from them, they left all the furniture I bought from them in my hallway and left it like that for days, I had to pay for other guys to put my furniture in place, also my garage is full of huge poxes which they have not taken care of

Buyers beware!

Very disappointed! Purchased a sectional couch and not even TWO years of having it, one of the cushions is ripping at the seams in MULTIPLE areas! Purchased an "extended warranty" and they denied the claim because rips at seams is a MANUFACTURER defect and is only covered for ONE year! So in order for them to fix with no cost to me, the rios would've needed to be ACCIDENTAL! Are you freaking kidding me?!? DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I repeat... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Waste of money!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT purchase the warranty plan for R2G! It's a rip off. I had finger nail polish and a water stain on my nightstand, filed a claim and it was denied. The reason being is because I had an accumulations of stains. I didn't know this plan was a rip off until I had to file a claim and I started reading the reviews. I wish I could give it no stars.
