I started out make a purchase from their site using the cascade menu they provide. I received the parts only find out they were wrong and started a return for store credit thinking I made a mistake. I discovered their site was inaccurate and emailed them only to be told nothing was wrong and they closed my ticket when I provided proof that their site was incorrectly listing parts. Absolute worst service and complete frauds when it comes to their return policy which states they will refund shipping if the mistake is on their end... NOT! Never doing business with them again.

Purchased a Belt form Rockauto website. There is only on belt on my car. ( Serpentine.) they sent a tiny belt that does not exist on my car. They maid me pay to ship it back. I am Glad i listened to the other reviews and started with a cheap part. I will never trey them again.

I bought a brake kit for my BMW but 3/4 of the parts in the kit were unavailable AFTER they took my money. VERY frustrating since I wait days before they even emailed me that most of the parts in my kit were not available. Poor customer service. Check our Auto Anything.com! I order a cam sensor Jun 30, and it was lost by the shipping company I did get it but took 3 weeks in the mean time because the part was sposed to take 1 week my employer allowed me that 1 week finally it took so long to find it and I didn't have any more money to go somewhere else for the part, my employer had to let me go, so July 19th they gave me a store credit for the part, 2 days later it was found and sent to me within two days, well rockauto found this out and said you haven't paid for the part so pay or return it, well I lost my job and all they could say is pay for the part and we will cover the shipping so now I have had to go get a lawyer if they would have said keep the part at no charge which was only 20.00 I would have dropped it this is rediculoua
Absolute garbage. Purchased 4 tail lights. My certified German auto mechanic verified they were the correct ones before I placed my order. They fit, but only the turn signal and brake lights worked, no parking lights or rear tail lights at night on the highway with my 16 month old daughter. $25 to have them shipped, $55 for my mechanics 30 minutes and another $45 to return them via rock autos "discounted shipping label" where they give you a label, but deduct $45 from your return. So that put me out $125. There is no customer service online or chat feature on their website. Don't waste your time, they absolutely suck. I will spread the word and never purchase from them again
I ordered my Rockauto part on line per the Make, model, year, ect... The part arrived however, it will not fit my vehicle. I checked the part #, vehicle make, model, year, engine, ect... all matched. To return the part I have to pay shipping. Rockauto, you advertised this part as the right part for my car but it's not. Now, I have to pay to ship it back. The part is not anywhere close to being correct. See pic. The threads are clearly not the same. Mine are male. Yours are female. The required curve to the metal end of the hose is completely different. There is no way to make this part work.

This company is a joke, seriously. There is no customer service, none, zero, nada!. I purchased rotors and brake pads for my wife's car, it has been a month already since I did it and there is no way to report an issue in a timely manner, they advertised themselves that piece of software as most efficient but the fact of the matter is that it is quite bad. They force you to use their piece of junk system. The problem with my order is that in accordance to Carrier, the shipper meaning Rockauto damaged the package so Fedex said contact the shipper, so I used their system to report the issue and they kept telling for 2 weeks that my shipment was on its way and it was not, it was stocked in Fedex for 2 weeks! I purchased the part in Jun 28 and today is July 20! And there is no person you can talk with. Spent hours replacing a power steering pump that ended up being faulty. There's no way to speak with a live person, there's no willingness to help a consumer out like normal businesses that actually care. Because I've since moved, being told to buy a new unit, pay for shipping and no concessions for all of the labor I've put into this and then have to jump through hoops to return the old unit for a credit. Never going to use them again...
I ordered a drivers side mirror from rock auto on Thursday 07/15/2021 paid $ 21.07, part, tax & shipping. Enter all my information mailing address email phone number credit card, payment went through, rock auto advised a confirmation email would be sent out to me within 24 to 48 hours to advise shipping, still waiting! Can't talk to a real person, tried their email service and they wanted to charge me another $5.00 to speak to a real person to steal more money. Rock Auto are Thefts and you will not receive your parts from them, even tried looking up my order on their website by email and part number and it said no email on file, they will steal your money! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Incorrect parts shipped and then returns denied because you opened the packaging. How else am I supposed to know it does not fit? I am not sure.
To make it even worse, their automated return system (you can never talk to a human) makes you read small numbers off the part so you have to take it out of the packaging and then... yes, you have opened it so you cannot return it. What a sham.
Buy from a more reputable place. The additional money you have to spend on wrong parts sent to you by Rockauto will likely cover even much more expensive places.
We ordered parts which FedEx would drop off at our local C-store. The C-store rejected the delivery, which meant it got sent all the way back to Rockauto. FedEx would not allow us to redirect the package, we also could not contact Rockauto, as there is no phone number. When Rockauto eventually refunded us, they would not refund any taxes, they also did not refund all of the parts. So for an order totalling $465, we only got refunded $97, because they said return shipping was very expensive. So I will not use them again, they are dishonest and totally against giving any customer service. Stay away, rather use someone who has a customer service number, that you can actually get hold of.

I ordered 4 motor mounts for a 2007 Hyundai sonata and was able to only install one, the rest were so bad that the hole on the metal did not alight with the threaded hole for the screws, some screws end up hitting the metal of the same part and could not even go in more than 1/8", I end up scraping all of then and buying new ones from Autozone.

I was kind of hesitant to order from Rock Auto, but they were the only ones who had the part I needed, so I took a chance and to my surprise my parts were here on time. Only problem for me was there was no number to call to talk to someone for more info on the part I ordered, just wanted to know if a spring came the part. Best service!
