Wrong parts again.

Every time I order from them they say it fits my ride. I get the part and it's all wrong. Not ordering anymore parts from here again.

Ordered parts brake rotor and they sent wrong parts can get answers from anyone no contact information nooo customer service can't talk to any one and can't return parts. Great site and goid price on parts but they messed up my order and now I am out money and stuck with parts I don't want or need and zero help. Absolutely terrible should not be allowed to run a business with out customer service of some sort. Very frustrating.

Didn't receive all my order & they refuse to send the missing parts to complete order. Without sending back part of the order that came. Of course I pay shipping on their mistake & will only credit 75$ towards shipping when It costs 210$ to ship back & they refuse to send missing parts or send me a refund. Place is trash will never use again

Terrible service

Service is just TERRIBLE! If you have any issue with your order, know that there is no way to reach any representative via phone at Rock Auto. They don't do phones. And if you need to return a part, you are paying for the shipping. What really ticked me off is my order is being returned because they sent the wrong part. They sent two left brake calipers and no right brake caliper. They keep trying to tell me it's my fault and they sent the right parts... well, then why don't they come try and install a left caliper on the right with the bleeder screw and brake hose on the bottom outer side of the car.

I have been putting this review off for several years to see if my issues were just one offs. Well they weren't, I have had issues with core charges, me having to pay more for shipping the core back then the actual core charge to getting the wrong parts consistantly but being charged a restocking fee to being told the will not replace an item even when the manufacturer included the wrong gasket in the master gasket kit. Oreded a timing cover for a Jeep 4.0L inline 6 was sent a cover for a 3.6L V-6. When I notify them of the issue they were quick to send out another one once they got the old one back and tried to charge me a restocking fee. I am doing a full stroker rebuild on my 4.0 and ordered the master gasket kit, box says once it is opened it will not be returnable. I understand why it says this but when I opened it the intake gasket is for a different year engine so the ports done match the head. I contact RockAuto and get told that there is nothing they can do. These are just a few examples of the issues I have.

2014 mazda3. OEM shocks come with mount and hardware, you sell them without mounts knowing mounts can't be purchased separately just so you can make $30 on a return you have lost me as a customer. Just like another lost customer said shopping online for auto parts is a JOKE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE JUST HIDE behind a computer. Technology at its best.
$#*! online shopping forever. Old school go to a reputable AUTO PARTS SUPPLIER IN PERSON. ABSOLUTE JOKE Rock Auto.

Poor customer service
September 8, 2021

Ordered part and paid extra for 2 day delivery, now at day 8 still waiting for part. Tried to talk to someone, impossible as they are only an online company so you have to email them. Then it's a different person each time even on the same problem. Just wanted a refund for the express delivery I paid for since obviously that didn't happen. Said basically that's not their problem what the shipper does and they won't even talk to me about the package until it's missing 10 days. If I had wanted to wait, I could have gotten it locally which I will do next time. They get no more of my money!

You can get better service anywhere else. They often double order your parts. Billing twice then wanting you to pay for the returns to get your refund. Good luck trying to cancel the second order. Every time you click cancel part on any line item.The site goes to the blue/gray bar of death stating processing. No phone number or quick link customer service email address. This was just the latest with my sons order I personally gave up years ago. I work full time ordered parts that were core returnable, but didn't do the job within the core returnable time. Well dont have that problem with my local store. Furthermore just try to get a warranty replacement and get back on the road LOL. My local store I enter with the old and generally leave with the new part. Oh and yes I've had the double bill issue as well, however, my order was small enough I didn't bother at the time. Actually had two of the same Silverado's. Which also brings up the issue I've already replaced those rear calipers again on the first truck from piston stick on the right side. Yes at the time I purchased the least expensive. So maybe my bad. Have lifetime calipers now

Ordered and was sent rotors that I thought would fit my 2017 Ford Explorer. They did not and when I went to a local Auto Parts store the rear rotors were for a Taurus, Ford 500 and Freestyle from 2008 and earlier. The Front Rotors were for a GM Cadilac. No way to return and would warn anyone to never get Break Parts on-line. Several of my friends told me they had issues as well as the Auto Parts Store employees. They were NOT surprised.

My parts were suppose to be in friday. Its now sunday and still dont have all my parts. They completely ripped me off on shipping and still cant deliver anything on time. They shipped from two different locations because all their doing is playing the middleman and ordering from someone else instead of having it themselves. They claim to be cheaper but after they rip you off on shipping thats never on time you could just go to the dealer and still save more money. This always seems to happen with rock auto and i will never shop here again.

Part ordering

Do not order from them unless you want already used/defective parts. I got a part and since I know what to order but not know how to out it on I let my husband do it and when we put it on my car felt the same which was shaking and what not went to autozone and got the same part and they gave the same part and I put it on my car and my car felt great. I tried to get my money back and they won't give me my money back 30 day return policy but got lost in the mail and came to me after 14 days. How tf am I supposed to work with that and get my kids to and from with a defective part. Real nice rock auto real nice.

Missing part
September 2, 2021

I ordered a part for my car because it will not start. Rock Auto said it was delivered on 8/30/21@ 2:19 pm by the post office. I was home and looked everywhere for it. There was no part. It has been 4 days and I still have not heard anything and I cannot drive my car. I am very disappointed that I have not heard anything and I have no way of talking with anyone from Rock Auto or the post office. I am without a car and out $58.00. My family has been buying parts from Rock Auto for at over 20 years. Don't think I will buy anything else.

Zero customer service

They wouldn't accept my paypal payment after trying twice from my computer and then my phone. I use my paypal regularly so I was surprised to find my payment was denied. I called the number listed on the site and was even further surprised to find they don't offer customer service through the phone. In fact, they don't really offer customer service at all! I left a message at corporate with the receptionist. Got a call back from a pretty hateful woman who basically said it couldn't be their fault and it must be mine. Lost my business. Avoid these people if you can.

I have ran a garage since 1987. Rock Auto parts are usually very good. When they are not, the company makes it right, and they do so quickly. The ONLY complaint I would have is most times when I
Am buying several parts, the warehouses will change locations DURING the purchase.
This causes me to have to spend more money on shipping, and I cant understand why the warehouse would change --- mid order --?
Other than that I always have positive experiences with this company.
What they dont know, is when the warehouses start changing around mid order... I just cancel it all together, and get the parts locally

They are misleading customers
August 31, 2021

I recently ordered 4 packages of Dorman ******* and only received 1 when contacting them about it they told me I was wrong and that "I got what I paid for" even though the quantity on the receipt they sent me clearly says the quantity ordered is 4 but the shipping manifest says quantity shipped is 1 instead. They tried to claim that the product is sent to them in packages of 4 pcs or individual pieces from the manufacture. Dorman confirmed that it is a lie. And are only in packs of 4pcs

No customer service

Some halfwit from Rockauto sent me an empty box with no part in it, they won't send me a new one because some FedEx stooge didn't scan my shipment properly so it hasn't been marked as delivered. So Rockauto will only ship a new part after TWO WEEKS. All the while I CANT FIX MY CAR. YOUR SYSTEM SUCKS, ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FILL MY ORDER AND YOU COULDNT MANAGE SOMETHING A TRAINED MONKEY COULD DO

Update: I finally got the clamp that should have been in the empty box and started my work, when I got near the end I found out one of the clamps they sent me was the WRONG SIZE. So now I'm waiting on a clamp AGAIN. I should have been able to complete my job almost two weeks ago but rock auto botched my order, thanks a lot

Horrible

1. They charged extra for expedited shipping, but did not ship as promised.
2. For one order of 3 items, they shipped from 3 locations.
3. They do not have a telephone number. No customer service.
4. The item did not fit.
5. They refused to credit the return because the 3 items were returned as one package rather than to 3 separate locations. But they kept the returned items anyways.

Dont know if ordering right part when they list 4 different part numbers. Amazon does a better job at getting the right part at a better price. Just recently ordered a headlight switch for a 2000 gmc sierra and recieved a ignition coil for an 80's mod HEI Ignition
