I have the strongest wifi and the camera still doesn't connect. Save you money. Also, I did not renew my yearly fee and all of a sudden my camera stopped working. What a scam. The company says it must be the camera. Biggest coincidence or bull scam?
Worked for about 2 weeks and then wouldnt connect to wifi. Spent hours trying to sort this out and had tech support on the phone and email... still not resolved. It went back in the box and sat on a shelf for 6 months, then i thought i'd give it another chance. I shouldn't have wasted my time, the doorbell is total rubbish and i don't believe it will ever work. Its going in the bin, i'll be £120 the poorer but i'll be a whole lot happier. I also tell my mates and my customers to avoid this heap of crap. Dont waste time, energy or money... choose a different manufacturer!

Sitting around my house it takes forever to load and I am at home by my wifi and sometimes won't let me view and says more info or ok. Was out of town for a family emergency and my ring doorbell didn't work wouldn't open wouldn't let me live view nothing, good thing my house didn't get robbed. I've heard this company Customer Service Sucks so I guess writing a bad review is the only compensation.

Ring.com keeps canceling my orders, I tried paying with 2 different international debit cards. The notification I get from the bank app is that they don't provide 3DS check. Another bad thing is that there is no email address you can write to, you can only call international phone numbers in order to contact ring.com support and they are not really helpful. They have a good story behind all these security cameras but I don't think they're a reliable and serious company. I haven't received my money back from my last purchase and I spent hours on the phone with their support trying to understand why they keep canceling my orders, but it seems they don't even know the real reason. They only said "there was a problem with payment". No $#*!.
Ring is extremely poor company to deal with. Ring flood cams do not last more than a year, and if you join the nextdoor program becareful what you say. I have been band for ever, can no longer be on neighborhood watch. Plus they are expensive. I changed to eufy which is a superior product and economical to use.
I have 3 cameras with solar charging and ring doorbell. At first I was impressed and the novelty wore off pretty quickly. The system is laggy and grainy. By the time that you pull up the app to talk to who's at the door it's got to be around 10-15 seconds and the picture quality sucks.
The next thing is you MUST have WiFi and pay the annual service fee to use the system other than getting live feed from the cameras. There is no way to use it during power outage, without internet, and paying ring for the service. I'm into my system $1,500 with cameras, solar, ring doorbell, and extra batteries. I should have gotten a wired system with HDD system for much less. It was a lot less work going with ring but I hate every aspect of it now.
Owner of ring and the stick up cam for 1 year... feel ripped off. Half the time the app won't connect your phone to see what is actually going on. The speaker option is virtually non-existent... can't barely hear if you put your ear right up to the doorbell. The monthly service fee is a straight up bait and switch method. The stick up cam will need recharging about every other day after a few months of usage. The battery inside is worthless and you will need to buy their "add on" solar panel charger. Feel nickeled and dimed yet? If i had to sum up Ring in one word it would be - Horrible.

I had to get a new doorbell sent to me as the first one stopped working! After about 45 minutes, due to language barrier, and having to check my connections which I had to take a picture and send them. They did send a new one. I did not receive a return label for the old one and called back and again spoke with someone again which was hard to understand and she couldn't understand me. I just realized from another post Amazon purchased Ring, This all makes sense now!
Not happy. Had a ring system for about a year and it stopped detecting people/motion. So of course, out of warranty. Bad bad! Should last longer or be under a longer warranty! May have to find a different company!
Unit fails to connect to any of my routers after 5 days. First was able to connect. Little laggy but now wont connect at all. Tech support is a nightmare. Even tried to use my phone as a hotspot, no go... total trash. And now they want 30 bucks to monitor or should I say send you video feeds to the Amazon cloud so you can look at them. No option of local server or Nas storage. Just a ripoff

Additionally, a Ring Protect Plan is not required to use your Ring products. Our optional Protect Plans allow you to access/download/share past Ring videos. Without this service, you'll still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to Live View.

Constantly disconnecting! We have plenty of high speed internet and yet this keeps disconnecting and you have to get the screwdriver out and dismantle it to get it to reconnect to the internet. Well when you are out of town or away on vacation that just isn't too convenient! We have a back up alarm to the house that works and we will be going with their outside visual camera. They need to have a way to reset Ring other than having to be home to do it. Junk and really disappointed. :(
Ive had the pro for 3 months and have had tech support 3 times and i can run around the block twice before live view opens up and i can talk to the mailman (of course hes gone by then), i was thinking about the whole security system for my home and a couple of cameras for outside but that would mean more time with tech support, i don't think i have the time for all of that
We started with the Ring doorbell and paid the $30 monitoring for a year. We loved it so much, we got the entire system for our house. We had to pay the $100 for that, so I asked for a refund for the other via the chat box. I had the money refunded within 5 minutes tops! Are you kidding me? WOW! We had to call another time and had the issue resolved within 6 mins from the time I dialed. This is so refreshing after 13 years with another well known company that kept jacking up our rates. You can't touch this monitoring fee... or their professional customer service! I am so happy! I'm astounded at the bad reviews!
The Ring doorbell is useless. Anytime someone rings the bell it will not connect in time to actually make this feature useful. I will be looking to find a replacement for the ring. I advise anyone thinking of buying the ring to look elsewhere.
Black out 90% of the time no videos, sticking in every recording, same excuses by customer services, same problems over and over, cannot speak to anyone when doorbell ring. Smh! Defeats the whole purpose of buying in the first place even with the extender. Do not buy this product plzzzzz. Cannot get refund. Wasted my money.

My ring security camera is recording but every time I click to watch one, the sales subscription crap goes over it and videos do not start. I thought I could watch my ring videos on my phone, even without the subscription. Apparently that is not the case. My overpriced camera is held hostage. Ring is a subscription service like crack.
Very unhappy with my battery powered spotlight camera. It works great during the day but at night when I obviously need it to work it never picks up any motion. I have adjusted the zones, reinstalled the app, jumped up and down in front of it and nothing works. What is the point of having it if it does not work at night? I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. Of course Ring suppo t says it is my fault due to internet. Thats makes no sense since the connection says it is good and it works fine in daylight. Waste of money. Do not purchase this. I wasted $200 on this piece of junk.

First off, the customer service is awful. They owe me $50 and have for months. Every time I call I am told it will be another 6 weeks. It has been 3 months already. Doesn't take 3 months to cut a check. They are dishonest as far as I am concerned. They say they will call you back and don't. Terrible company.
Also, I purchased a Pro - it worked for a week- then it didn't work at all. Turns out is was not compatible with my doorbell. It blew out my working doorbell so now I need to hire a electrician to fix my doorbell. Also, there is a huge delay in the motion sensor. Postman rings my bell and is in his truck down the street before I get the motion message on my phone. I wouldn't waste my money on this product.

I purchased a small tune, ($5.00) of grease that is electrically conducive at the auto parts store. I Placed a small amount on the transformer plugs and then placed them back together. It has been working fine. I realized that the transformer on the side of my home is in the garage and have had no problem but this camera was exposed to rain on the back of the home. The transformer box (battery box, even though it is plugged into outlet) is not waterproof as it should be.
I am now on my 3rd replacement camera. It works on the ring.com but not on app. I have called at least 6 times and am told it is escalated but never hear back. They say they will contact me and never happens. They keep saying they will send me a replacement, which is not acceptable as this is the 3 time I have replaced the camera. Why work on. Com but not on app? Also, I have one other camera and a ring door bell and not had any problems.
I have neighbors that have been taking my property apart piece by piece. I decided to purchase the ring doorbell and two cameras a package deal. My big mistake was not reading the reviews before I purchased the ring products. When I hear commotion outside and try to use the camera on my phone it just turns and turns. Sometimes it doesn't come up at all. Right now all the notifications have stoped so I am not getting any notifications and when I do look outside the camera quality is terrible! The other thing that drives me crazy is most of the videos are going to be two minutes or less no matter what's going on outside your house.

For best streaming performance we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds for Ring Pro and we recommend 1 Mbps upload and download speeds for Ring Video Doorbell. You can check by visiting www.bandwidthplace.com on your cell phone, and running a speed test right next to where your Ring Doorbell is installed. We also recommend running a speedtest right next to your router and comparing the two speeds. Sometimes, even with high internet speeds, the connection isn't as strong at the front of the house. Answer: Most annoying product ever. Doesn't work but almost does. This makes you constantly fool with it thinking you maybe possibly actually got it to do something similar to what they advertise. But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
