Ring PRO doorbell failed after 4 months. Replacement was a garbage too and wouldn't connect to WiFi. Wait time for Ring Tech was over an hour. Into the garbage it went. I'll never buy a Ring product again.
I had to verify with my drivers license then basically take a front and two side pictures. So basically a mug shot to use my own cameras. All over a changed phone number. Once I did I logged back in set up a camera then I went to change my phone # in the app it logged me out. I called customer service and they wanted me to re verify with my ID again and mugshots. I told them to beat it and threw the cameras in the trash where they belong.
Horrible horrible horrible! They always lie. Batteries only last 1 week be4 dying. Solar panels do not work - even when facing the sun. Also, had to get my bank to file a fraudulent claim for a refund that was never issued to me from RING for a return of the home alarm system that could not be installed. They emailed phony receipts to me saying the money had been issued to my account a month prior. My bank said it had never been issued. When I explained the situation, my bank gave me a credit in the amount owed by RING and RING then was forced to finally issue the return to my bank. A bunch of scammers! Get another security system. Do not waste ur money here.
This thing is garbage. It's great for notifying you that there's movement, but when you attempt to see that movement it never connects. I have it hardwired into the electrical and the router is near it. Ring doorbell is a piece of sh! T. Spend your money elsewhere.
I am on a extended vacation in the Philippines as I am retired. I can't get in touch with Customer Service or Tech support. I can't sign into my Ring app. They require a code which is sent to my USA phone and my USA phone doesn't work here. Calling their USA phone number is too expensive for me here. I pay the yearly membership fee. I can't use it so it is a waste of my money. I am planning on replacing it with a different company.
Device does not work as advertised. Boosted my WiFi and still does not work. If you want to pay $200 for a simple doorbell, this is the device; if you want phone video, monitoring when away, try something else. Horrible customer service on the phone.
Returned a floodlight cam, stick up cam and solar panel, after reading reviews.
Order didn't have a purchase order or a return label.

After a hour on the phone I had to create a account on ring website with my credit card information so that they can process return, Ring needs to have a better solution to provide customers with a faster return policy. No one runs a business this way with this process. I will not recommend this product to any one.
On my way to Costco to purchase Arlo pro security camera where I know that they will provide a superior service.
After a week and a half still waiting for my account to be processed.

I have been with ring for long time! Good people and they have gotten to big. They must answer the phone and hang up- all done! The good customers with 3 or more products get put in the same group of one product of just complaining to be complaining. A list airlines has customer loyalty. As your products fail and you abuse your A list telling them it's them. Just explain your products fail and buy a replacement!

Call 5 days later to find out where order is to find out they have no stock for 2-3 weeks, why do they not mention this at time of order!
Call to cancel and have order refunded. No we cant do that you must create an account.
Company is a joke and staff aren't much better.
I have been wanting this doorbell for sometime. But now looking into this and all the poor reviews I don't think it would be a wise choice. Anyone know of an alternative to the ring? I am looking for something like the spotlight and doorbell.

It would have been nice of them to let you know this before you buy it.
I have this product for 30 days and now Best buy will not refund my money.
What a waste of money.
I purchased a ring doorbell and ring spotlight 8 months ago. Neither one likes to connect. Anytime I get a notice of motion I tried to pull it up and nothing happens it says receiving. This is 98% of the time. Complete waste of money

Absolutely the worst. I am military personnel going off to training who sought Ring for the first time to protect my home. I couldn't even begin to describe the amount of repeated issues and poor customer service received. I am truly amazed. From missing package items, receiving the wrong order, managers pretending like the contacted me when requesting help, but instead receiving no missed calls and an email notice stating they tried contacting me. Unprofessionalism, everywhere in the company's network. Ring, is also not cheap. Very dissatisfied, never again.
Ordered a replacement battery for my spotlight cam battery. Got a confirmation email and number also. Stated shipped for fulfillment on October 26 here it is November the 6th and still havent received anything. Call a rep one week ago said shell check the status and let me know in a few hours by email never heard back. Called today talked to girl she said oh its shippi today. Their really unorganized at this company! Mr. Jamie and Shaq needs to be standing at those reps desk and not in folks yards making commercials to get sales! Bull$#*! is what it is!

HORRIBLE! We have had nothing but problems with our ring cameras one of them went out within a few months of installing it... the upload is so slow that the person invading your property could break in and assault you before you could ever bring it up on your phone.
Major failure!

Which also means you won't be able to capture those who wish to do harm or vandalize your property!?
Save yourself the $$$$$$ there literally is no security with these so-called security cameras!

I purchased the ring with Solar power so I could have consistent power without paying to have it wired. Unfortunately, the battery would drain while I was out of town. The agent stated that if I had it in live view, it would drain even with the solar addition. It was even draining in the winter once I had it installed with my electric source.
Multiple delays when motion is alerted and I cannot talk immediately. Sometimes it does not record movement. It is not as efficient as advertised. I am adding other systems to offset this.
Ordered the alarm kit, and a doorbell. Overnight shipping because I am going to leave the country in 5 days.
Two days later, Checked why the order did not arrive. Apparently order was canceled internally. Didn't even bother to send me an email about the cancellation. Called the customer service twice, sent me on a whole circle saying that the bank declined the payment. Once the bank confirmed that there is a charge posted by them on the account, Ring apologized. And that's it!
Good lesson for idiots like me for trusting these crappy smaller companies over reputable ones like Brinks.
In an 800 sq foot house it did not work went back to best buy couple days later bought the $50 charm. Worked 7was broken in under 20 days and0 percent of the time. They said they could not figure out why maybe the small brick area in my house. HMMM does none of the mega mansions it is being installed in have a little bit of brick. I have the strongest Internet so was not that. Then it stopped working completely. Best buy who Ring told me would refund me even though past 15 days was at 19 gave me a gift card. A gift card to a store I haven't stepped foot in over ten years. Refused to actually give me my money back for a broken item that the manufacturer said would.

This camera is bull$#*! the zoom sucks can't even tag a license plate 15ft away! Also the extra 50$ solar panel only extends battery life 2-3 extra days. And not to mention you need to purchase a undisclosed plan to be able to save events for any period of time which is also not mentioned. False advertisement laws should shut them down. I am contacting the Better Buusiness bureau for sure
Door bell ring sucks not worth it! It misses anything that you look for! I had a package stolen It showed it being delivered but not the important part when it was stolen! Straight 🗑
Answer: Most annoying product ever. Doesn't work but almost does. This makes you constantly fool with it thinking you maybe possibly actually got it to do something similar to what they advertise. But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
Answer: It does not work the way it is presented on T. V. The inability to immediately respond "LIVE" to an event renders it useless.
