Spread the words - Never ever rent 'Right Cars'! This is the most disgusting rental car service in my whole life.
Don't trust their lowest rates - it is complete lie! I bumped into this in Fort Lauderdale. When you come to the office they demand to have your insurance property damage liability coverage $300,000! Property Damage Liability, not Bodily Injury Liability which we usually have! And if you don't - the choice is to pay additional ~$15/day, or to lose whole your complete payment with no refund at all, and go with all your luggage to hell! And you are not in Airport with dozen rent car dealers, but in some slum place. They give you 'rental agreement terms' paper printed with 8 point size font which is completely unreadable and they smile.
In addition to racket they are dirty liars - they solicited to buy the transit pass for $15/day and said - if I don't - I'll pay $25/day tolls. I paid once for 3 weeks $3.25.
All customers in line scolded them as I do.
P.S. The latest news - they charged my credit card with additional $148.74 after I returned car with no reason and no complains.

Tom live an episode of the HBO true blood is to rent from these blood sucking vampires. DO NOT RESERVE A CAR DIRECTLY WITH THEM as soon as you give them that credit card they will suck your blood and keep sucking it. Biggest car insurance chargers fraud. Bogus Toll chargers.

Scammers with Wrecked Cars

The cars are so damaged it's impossible to photograph every detail. If you miss any slight damage on pickup they will fine you on return.

My experience was in the Baltic States. There was no car, there was no person waiting for me on the airport and they do not have an airport based office. They get customers in via their cheap prices, but you will loose your money and time. Do not make the mistake I made. I am still trying to get my money back as I had to book lastminute in the airport with another company. They are understaffed, do not respond to complaints, even get rude when you ask money back. The head office is only contactable by postal letters, just to avoid getting any complaints.
Weak point:
Behavior to customers,
Franchising structure without a centralized control system.
Lack of action on complaints
Promises to pay pay money not acted out.
Stay away from them. Not only one location has issues.
The franchise structure is the problem. I am still awaiting my money after 2.5 months.
I booked via EXPEDIA. And warned them too for RIGHT CARS.
So do not think they are OK since they are listed on EXPEDIA. Do not make the same mistake as me. STAY AWAY
This business will go into bankruptcy soon as not managed well. RC took Expedia's money who did refund me out of their own (EXPEDIA) pockets.

This company is the worst rental car that I have rented from. Run away as far as you can. My reservation was $48 total including taxes… upon arrival I got charged $138 more saying they don't have the car I reserved so I need to upgrade $10 a day($30) charged me $25/ day (75 total) for coverage when I gave my car insurance and didn't need one. And some other charge about vehicle for 16 a day … toll of 10 a day this is all on top of the $48… i walked out of there with a total bill of $180.: THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE. They said I signed, but I did not sign off on the other undisclosed charges. I only signed off on the toll and the 10 a day vehicle upgrade despite the fact it's not
My fault they don't have the car I reserved …… THEY ALSO HVE NO ONE PHYSICAL ON THE OFFICE. You literally walk into a cubicle and talk to someone virtual. THE WORST EXPErience. Will make sure this gets posted everywhere.

A pilot came before me and saw him outside in disbelief and asked me if I had the same experience and we were both shocked how horrible this company is. He had a $50 reservation and walked out with $150 more to pay.

It's a scam

They post cheap prices to get you once you arrive to pick up your vehicle then they start to the negotiations increasing the prices with stuff that they said is mandatory..

During my recent holiday I rented 4 cars from different companies, in which three were very satisfying in terms of car condition and service, except Right Cars branch near Auckland airport. Their renting price was cheaper than others, of course the car was an old one with lots of minor scratches and small dents on the body. When I rented the car, the branch guy did NOT do a proper vehicle check as other companies and said he knows there are many scratches. Although he did not give me a copy of check document as usual, I trusted him and thought he was a honest person. When I returned the car to him around 9pm outside their office a few days later, in the dark he quickly "found" a "new" small windscreen damage at the bottom right corner and said there will be a charge. I am very surprised how he can quickly locate the damage without checking the whole windscreen. I drove this car always on the road and did not notice any sound/sign of such a damage. When I requested to talk to his manager, he simply said "no". After they charged me NZD124 (half of this is administration fee!) from my card, I made a complaint to their main office in UK, which however did not work at all. Very frustrating experience with this company. Never use it again.

Worst Experience Ever!
May 26, 2021

I prepaid $266.70 for a 3-day rental which included taxes and fees through Travelocity on Apr 26,2021. I got to Orlando on May 5, they charged me an additional $177.30 for fees and taxes (I have already paid this to Travelocity), reinstatement of cancellation (there was no documented cancellation), insurance (I was told that Florida does not accept insurance from AAA and that I must pay for insurance though I have 250/500 liability, collision, and comprehensive covers from Michigan), and daily toll pass rental (this is in addition to the actual tolls though I offered to pay for my tolls in cash). Out of the $266.70 I paid Travelocity, I was only credited with $210.00. They said the difference is the commission that was paid to Travelocity (It's unheard of to have a buyer paying commission for a sale). Their effusions are replete with misrepresentations and this organization is disgustingly putrid. When I returned the car 3 days after, I requested them to inspect it before dropping the key. They took the key from me and told me not to worry.
Six hours later, I received an email from them with a picture of a cracked car windshield and they charged my credit card for $500 for the broken windshield, in addition to the actual tolls of $16 which I do not dispute. I saw other smudges and what looked like taped objects attached in the picture of the windshield they sent me. The truth is that there was no crack to the windshield when I returned the car and there were no tapes or smudges on the windshield either. Those were not there when I returned the car. I knew I had been scammed.

I wonder how long it will take for the government and regulators to get these criminals prosecuted. I filed disputes/complaints with my bank, federal trade commission, and attorney general of Florida. I am still waiting for the outcome.
If I had read other previous reviews on these criminals, I would not have fallen victim to this scam. Beware everybody!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER "COMPANY"! I had a worst car rental pick up experience EVER! They lured you in with super low booking price. Then when you get there you won't be able to get the car you booked unless you could either show a million dollar (literally) coverage on your own auto insurance or you buy their insurance which is three times of your car rental worth. So you think you got a super deal going into their cramped pick-up office/booth. You will definitely feel the worst after they attempt to rip you off, big time! Eventually I refused to be ripped off and had to cancel the booking even though I had to make another booking from a different company with higher price. I pre-paid this RC rental through Expedia. Even though this scammer RC rental company at the time agreed to refund me after allowing to me to cancel, but Expedia later told me that this company did not "release" my booking charge therefore I did not get refund at all. I'm still interacting with Expedia to get my money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR LURING LOW PRICE. YOU WON'T GET A CAR UNLESS YOU WERE WILLING TO COUGH OUT THREE TIMES MORE MONEY!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. RIP OFF!
Looked like a good deal. But: First: loooong and not easy getting to the location. No live person at the location (which I do not mind but when it came to inspect the car I was told: IT IS TOUR RESPONSIBILITY to download the pictures from this web and make sure the condition of the car you see is the same as at the downloaded pictures. NEVER was able to download it. Spend a lot of extra time doing it and then making a video of the car condition). I travel
A LOT! I rent cars ALL the time. My first impression when I came there was not a single person other then me picking up the car. Doesn't it ring the bell? And… "the cherry on the top", if you do not have your own car insurance you HAVE to buy one (and EXPENSIVE one from them. The most expensive per day I have EVER witnessed. Credit card liability and credit card is not enough. Ok. It is fine. I had FULL coverage insurance from CA. But guess what? I did not have enough amounts to cover this and that: one had to be 500,000 (I had 300,000) and something else. So, for an almost 100,000 usd Range Rover lease this insurance enough but not for this car rental. I would have left if The had time and was ready to loose the rental fee for 4 days as the insurance they were asking was probably Double of what I paid for the rent. And… the answer to everything: we had sent you terms and conditions via email and it was said there regarding insurance. Excuse me?!?! Going on vacation/visit family etc… you Don t think about hiring an attorney to precisely examine car rental terms and conditions. Anyway, horrible experience (though the person on the screen talking to me tried to assist and gave me like 20-30 % discount on the extra insurance they required and a free update… Boy, very old Toyota Corolla is and upgrade? The poor thing is at it s retiming age. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS CAR RENTAL. EVER! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF (unless you have time in your busy life to look through what they send you prior to the pick you). EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE!

Bad nightmares
March 17, 2023

Booked via travel velocity; arrived to pick up car as agreed and approved via my documents presented. Met a chain-smoking guy who directed me to enter one the two cubicles and press a digital touchscreen button; complied; a lady appeared via the monitor: she guided me what she needed from me: credit card, driver license; proof of insurance and other insurance I purchased at $12 per day; after scanning; reviewing them; she stayed every looks okay. Now came the big surprise; the lady on screen informed me that my USAA auto insurance or even AAA or the extra $12 per day insurance coverage do not cover or is part of the rental agreement; to move forward; the lady informed me that I have to pay 1; $155 to cover insurance and unlimited toll charges; 2; pay $134 without toll charges; 3 there is a $500 deposit that will be refunded to me at the end of the car rental; I thought I woke up in a strange land other than Houston Texas; I tried to make sense to her that yes my USAA or AAA insurances cover all if I choose my insurance rather than the extra $12 per day protection coverage; she will not agree; instead she informed me she has limited time with me and then disappeared on screen: I pressed the touch screen and she appeared again; telling me that that's their offer; take it or leave it;
I was stranded; missed joining or continue my trip: on a third trial; a guy appeared and informed me that the car rental agreement is cancelled: take the shuttle; park and fly back to airport: stranded I opted to pay the $155 hidden fee that were never advertised or part of my original rental agreement: 4 hours later I finally rented an upgrade vehicle from easitorent in courtyard Marriott adjacent to the nightmare place: now I called travel velocity and was told to call back on Sunday 3/19/23 to see if I can be refunded back my money after I detailed to them what happened and the customer service representative was listening on the phone while I tried to work out some thing with this nightmare situation
