Excellent customer service. I was helped out in cancelling my account because i did not realize the resumes were not free. They cancelled my account right away and even offered me lower price from the 24.95 but i was not interested in it for my own personal reasons. Overall they were very helpful, i would definitely recommend to my family and friends. The website is very easy to use and i love the tips they had to make my resume they really helped me out. Thank you resumehelp!
First I'd like to say that for all of those complaining about the monthly service fee; how did you not read that small paragraph under the the credit card info? It took me less than 10 minutes on the live chat to cancel my subscription today, and I only canceled because I was finished using this excellent service.
As for the resume and cover letter builder, I have never had a better experience. I find myself to be rather articulative, but the way these templates are set up, you can appear extremely professional with next to no effort.
Thanks for the service ResumeHelp.
This site is an excellent help for those who are having trouble making their own resume, I am impressed that I could choose a lot of styles and it made me do the hardwork an easy one. Thank you ResumeHelp!
REMEMBER to cancel your ResumeHelp subscription before 14 days of the $24.90 repeating charge every 4 weeks. I even called by phone to ask for a refund which I was repeatedly told by the guy that it was written in fine print twice. Keep in mind I last used ResumeHelp 21 days ago. Don't make the same mistake I made and avoid using this scam website which will only end up stealing your precious, hard earned money!
Hope no star to compare for this it charge me for 3months at different cost without knowing no confirmation if i wanted to continue or cancel paying $34.48 I'm pissed of with the price it doesn't help people who is in need to find job money sucker.
There monthly charge is my 2 weeks expenses already.
They will charge you $50 a month after initially charging you for your "free" resume. This is all technically outlined by them, but you get no confirmation email of the impending charges and there is no reason to suspect extra fees. Scammy, opportunistic, useless business.
The positive reviews from """""people""""" on this page all look completely fake.
Notice they are all written with similar language, and are all written exactly two days apart.
DO NOT USE.
I paid to download my resume i created, and i cant edit offline. Your site is a rip-off. I wont create another resume from this place. Windows has easy templates to go by. My mistake for trying something new. You suck.
The subscription details are in very fine print - luckily I spotted them. Had some trouble getting the templates to work but it was otherwise smooth sailing and an easy download. Customer service was very very pushy when I tried to cancel my subscription before the first billing. I dont need a CV service all year, thank you - I only update it once every year or so.
Would benefit from a one off service. Dont be so insistent with the subscription plan - I ended up threatening to seek legal action if they didnt just cancel my subscription before they stopped. The "lets talk" section was quite helpful though.
This site is so easy to use! Even the most pitiful of resumes can be uploaded, edited, and jade more professional!
Benjamin assisted me in the live chat and was the perfect customer service representative!
Had my resume on file with ResumeHelp for the past 12 months. I finally needed to customize I for a specific job application and when I saved the changes the document completely disappeared. I used the chat help only to be tole it's no accessible and it was my fault for using Safari vs. Chrome. When requesting further assistance and a refund I was advised there is nothing they can do. After pushing 1 month refund received and my account closed. Poor customer service and even worse tool!
Representatives from ResumeHelp quickly responded to my request to chat. We conducted a conversation via chat and the Rep. Provided all the essential details needed in an easy to understand manner. Alex was very personable and a real joy to work with. I'm continuing my subscription and will look to them for support whenever needed.
I wanted to resolve an issue because I wasn't informed about the monthly occurring charges. There was no confirmation about a charge, if there was one, I would've tried to resolve the issue ahead of time. Being human, I called and messaged them my situation. They said there was nothing I could do and tried to shake it off. I was also disappointed with our conversation because the person "Andres" was typing very slow, yet he wasn't able to spell correctly nor use punctuation. I somewhat called him out on it since this website is suppose to look over our resume and make sure it is good before we send it off to a company. He even tried to end the conversation when I wasn't even finished with what I had to say. Customer service is by far really bad. We can say that this company is a scam. I would not recommend this website.
I feel like this is a typical bait and switch operation. I did think the resume looked nice, but then they wanted me to pay. It said FREE. The charge was minimal, but there in the fine print it tells you that they will continue charging your card on a monthly basis unless you cancel. I have been through that before... no way. So I downloaded it as a txt file and will try to format it using Word. I hate misleading websites!
The customer service rep who assisted me was great, he was able to answer the issues I raised, very courteous and polite. But ResumeGig needs to make its tools more flexible particularly on Microsoft Word. Not everybody can just upgrade to the latest Word 2016 version to be able to edit, they still needs to work on older version i. E. 2010.
This site is professionally and simply well done. It is very easy to navigate through. The live chat is also very understanding and helpful. I'd recommend to a lot of people who needs help with their resume.
I used resume help one time, and I loved the template choices as well as the simplicity of entering the information to be inserted to my new resume. The charge was only $1.95 and it was worth it!. Variety, effective, quick, and efficient. Good website to use to make neat, stylish, professional resumes and cover letters. Also their LifeChat customer service is nice. They answer all your questions in a matter of seconds. Thumbs up
Not useful online site. Format in the "skills" section leaves blank lines and randomnly re-orders everything with one or more blank lines in between. On-line chat was useless in resolving this. Also, when exporting to word doc, it leaves the bullets hard-formatted to the document so it is impossible to change. After 2 hours, I re-built the resume myself on word... using same set-up they had. Waste of $25.
They charge you 2.90$ to build a resume and after 15 days if you don't call the system they automatically charge you 24.90$ out of no where, once you call and claim your money they STEAL it saying there's "nothing" they can do don't waste your time!
Resumehelp.com is a great site with many useful tools. I was not impressed with the resume style tools, but it is nice to have them. I took the compiled data and pasted into Microsoft word and used a classic resume style. I do not believe most hiring managers/HR teams like the fancy resume styles used on this site as it makes the resume harder to navigate. However, this site is a good starting place.
Once your 14 day trial is over they automatically start charging your credit card monthly any notice.
I've tried to receive a refund from them and they refuse to cooperate.
Be careful not give them your credit card number and more importantly let the time lapse!
Answer: Then don't, because they will charge you $24.90 even if you cancel your subscription immediately after printing your resume.
Answer: They will give the absolute run around. I had them tell me they had no re it's of me being a customer, even with my account details. I ended up going trough the Better Business Bureau. BBB managed to recover 65% of the money stolen from my account. The resume help swindlers refused to refund everything they had stolen. That's how they make their money after all.
Answer: I just cancelled my 14 day subscription now. So after reading all these reviews I think I will stay on the safe side too and cut this credit card in half before this month is up, just to be on the safe side
Answer: You have to use the chat function on the website and request that an agent assist you with the request
Answer: How would I know. I would suggest you contact them thru their customer service email address.
