Oh yeah, they fixed my computer at one time but when it came time to renew my subscription, a restoro rep called me and wanted to look at my computer. He said it needed more work and proceeded to get me to send more money. It was right after Christmas and I didn't have the money to pay him. He got really irritated and said he would remove the program. Instead, he hack my computer to where it will not even boot up. Many files are missing. I have tried to contact Restoro about the problem and I get no response from them. DO NOT let these thieves get control of your computer! There are many legitimate programs out there that can clean your computer. Restoro is not one of them.

Rubbish

This program was the worst I've ever purchased.
I've lost all my favourites, saved passwords and had to reinstall quite a few programmes.
I will uninstall the programme so that I need not worry again.
It's time consuming and you don't notice any improvement it's made.

Warning

Restoro completely destroyed my operating system making it necessary to run a virus program and dedicated uninstaller to remove Restoro completely and then do a refresh install of windows 11 to repair the corruption caused by Restoro. The program was initially installed just to clean up any duplicate or damaged files but ended up completely destroying the operating system. This program is not safe...

Credit card charging

Same as others, can't get in torch, phone number not connected, they are a rip off, I cancelled mine before actually loaded on PC as my anti virus indicated that their product was infected with malware.

After purchasing a renewal no where to enter renewal keys.
After being advised poorly another $87 was withdrawn via PayPal automatic subscription.
Even though I had cancelled the automatic subscription via paddle and restoro.

I was notified by email that my subscription to Restoro had been renewed. I did not ever subscribe to Restoro. Called company and was assured of a refund ($27.95). It remains to be seen whether I will receive the refund and whether I will see similar charges in the future.

I paid for this service, agreed to have my pc taken over by an agent. He clearly didn't check which operating system I was using and started to do a fix for a Windows 10, when I was using Windows 7, and left my PC in a state of disrepair! My original issue was never resolved and my PC was left worse off than before, with my search bar being completely disabled to this day! My backup facility also disabled and my PC is now totally out of use! How can this be allowed? You are a disgrace Restoro, I have wasted my money, but worse than that, my trusty PC now doesn't work and I have to run my business form a different device! I'm extremely unhappy with this, then you have the audacity to contact me to say that you will be taking more money from me if I don't unsubscribe! I wish I could demand my money back and my PC returned to it's former state! VERY UNHAPPY. Please offer me some help to put it right!

AVOID Virus
April 26, 2023

Avoid this app. I was desperate to fix a problem on my computer that actually should be fixed by Microsoft so after a few sites and videos on YouTube I've decided to try Restoro even if I don't totally trust these kind apps that finds problems on your computer and promise to fix for a price.

Didn't fix anything and even added a new one: ransom:win64/magniber.ad!mtb

I think I was fast enough to find it, kill it, uninstall and asked for a return (that I think I will never get).

Avoid really.

Save yourself hassle and money

Purchased this a year ago when I was experiencing computer problems. It left me with a blank screen and endless hours of troubleshooting. I got nowhere with either tech support or getting refunded. Now, a year later, my paypal account has been charged another $44. Because it turns out it's a recurring subscription- something I never agreed to. Paypal resolved dispute in company's favor. Wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased.

Horrible company! Avoid at all cost!

I purchased the software. Received a receipt with no license number. Cannot activate. No way to reach company by phone. Email was an automatic response claiming delay of license sends due to typhoons in the Philippians. They are headquartered in London! Thank goodness I used Amex to purchase. Seeking refund now. Only deal with U.S. based companies!

Doesn't work, no reply by support center

I bought the one-year subscription on 1st August. Never worked, I had to do the cleaning manually every day as it was with the free trial. I have written emails asking for help, but no reply whatsoever. I have even left a "ticket", because today the program changed from Greek to English and doesn't recognize my one-year subscription. They give a phone number for 7/24 support that I have read in reviews it is a scam. Need refund, no answer... I am afraid because they may have my personal information.

Won't Contact Customer - NO Customer Service.
December 15, 2021

24 hrs ago I purchased this for my pc & was not able to download. Tried emailing & calling but NADA. Last night I received a reply email informing me the flow of customers in front of me was "medium volume." Over 12 hours later I tried to then call and waited... eventually leaving my number and a message. Still have not heard from them several hours later. This is a SCAM. I'm contacting my Discover card AND the Better Business Bureau.

Simple query
July 26, 2022

Simply rang support team as my license key was not valid even though I just purchased it 4 days ago. They asked a punch of questions which led to the operator taking control of my laptop and ran some tests only to say that the price for repairing my laptop would be $400 for unlimited monthly support or around $700 for 1 year subscription. I was only asking why my license key was coming up as invalid and this led to what I feel, a marketing trap.

It was working well -
August 11, 2023

I was planning to renew it, but my Hitman software tagged it as malware so I thought some of their files were corrupted. I clicked Ok to quaranteen, then tried to use it and it was gone. Tried to go to website but my pc is blocking access and I can't figure it out. No support from Restoro and the instructions on the internet on how to unblock such a thing don't work. I am relatively tech savvy. Too much time. Just gonna let it go, I guess. Such a shame.

It contains virus

I downloaded this program and it did nothing to help my computer issue. When I deleted the program my anti-virus program detected the Restoro tried to put a Trojin virus in my computer. Not a safe program.

Watch out for this scam

It doesn't work, no one answers the phone, activation is coercive, and this is just a scam. I may have lost $27, but at least I have the opportunity to warn others. Save your time and money; do not download this junk.

Don't Touch It!
July 17, 2022

Bought this product, installed it and ran it! After reboot, left with a black screen with no cursor. Rang support twice over 24 hours. Each time I was told an expert would ring me back within the hour. No calls were received! In the end I had to have my PC rebuilt at a cost of three hundred dollars! The marketer of the product Paddle in the UK at least refunded my money with urgency. Well done to them but the product cost me money and wasted at least a week of my life!

A rip off Scam!
July 7, 2022

They provide a free scan, Then the say if you pay for their service they will fix you computer. They connect to your computer and show you these errors that most computers get. Telling you there is something they can fix. They tell you it will be assigned to a senior tech. They then ask you what support package you want. $500 for 1 year - $600 for 2 years or $700 for 3 years. I tell them flat out NO and then she says she'll "talk to her supervisor". She comes back and offers $150 for a 1 time fix. Again I tell them straight out NO!
Considering for $200 I can get Best Buy Total Tech Support which covers all my devices in my home, plus free installation on top of the Tech Support to fix my computer. Plus is it ends up being something hardware, Best Buy can do something about it.
They did however refund my money.

Tried this and not only did it NOT fix anything at all, it caused more problems, and only an uninstall of the useless software and then a Windows re-install could get things working again. Tried for a refund but had no response after multiple attempts so gave up (ZERO customer service). Now... one year on, I get an email proving I was right to do make them inactive on PayPal - an automatic renewal in a few weeks! Rip-off! The only way to actually cancel this (hopefully) it seems is to login to Paypal and click the paddle link at the bottom of the receipt. If cancellation is anywhere else in their emails or website it's hidden better than a black cat in a coal mine! 100% worst software experience in more than 20 years of computing experience.

Restore costs

I found the service very good, but beware the initial cost is reasonable, and you expect an electronic software package os solve the problem instead you get a very knowledgeable person phones you up to discuss your problems. He scans your computer remotely and finds lots of potential problems and spy ware. Obviously worried I was going to lose use of my lap top, I agreed for them to run a full diagnostic, but at a cost that would similar to high st. Ouch too expensive
