I fell for it about a year ago when my computer was crawling. Free turned into $40, which then turned into them wanting $200. I trust my pc repair guy, so when he didn't find any corrupted files like Restoro did, I know they were full of it. They just called wanting to access my computer, saying they were going to charge me $300 if I didn't allow them to access and remove software. Even though I got email confirmation of cancelling with them 10 months ago.
If it sounds too good to be true... Bought the 1 time license, thinking that it would repair the thousands of errors it uncovered but you have to call to "activate" and it becomes a hard sell session to get you to let the technician, who just happens to have a "slot" open to work on your PC for a few hours to correct all of the problems for a mere $249. When you resist, they start negotiating that price. Even if I could afford it, I am now too suspicious to continue with this company.

It's not cheap, but my laptop is 4 or 5 years old. Started having problems. Got really slow, problems restarting. They were great. Took control of my laptop and fixed all the problems. Runs like new, and, while expensive, it does include monthly maintenance. It's cheaper and easier than buying a new laptop.

... for a bunch of scammers. I got charged for this ($50-odd) without even realising I'd ordered it, so I thought I'd give it a go anyway. Got a license key, used it and the system seemed to do some okay stuff. Then the license key failed on the second scan. Called the 0800 number (nice touch, that, for scammers) and got a guy who wanted to access my computer, which I naturally declined. Asked him to send a proper license key via email, which he was incredibly reluctant to do. Avoid at all costs.

The customer service is horrible. They are fake. They put wrong number on their website and your emails wont deliver to them and they dont answer you. My license is invalid i wrote over 10 emails nobody answers. Please be AWARE guys dont buy from them they are fake and they dont give your money back!

This company employs aggressive sales tactics to badger you into buying one of their more expensive plans. I have never experienced anything like it and was forced into putting down my phone on them. It was quite clear that the word NO is non-existant in their practice. Stay away, folks.

I had one issue to resolve and the RESTORO folks scanned my system nd claimed to have found 54,000 corrupted files. I agreed to let them do the repairs and then further agreed to a one year subscription for 24/7 assistance if needed. Total "free" services came to almost $500. What they did do was download some software that automatically scans you system and whenever it encounters a file it didn't like it replaced it with one from somewhere else. I did this five times, and wound up with my desk top now serving as a door stop. I've been fighting for refund after cancellation for a month and keep getting a runaround. Stay with the legitimate vendors, and don't try to save a few bucks... it's another expensive lesson.

I installed Restoro in Jan 2022 and it seemed to help. Quicker response time, found and cured (?) several faults. Then it stopped. After doing a laptop scan, I instructed it to make repairs. When it gets to 40% of the repair, "halted unexpectedly..." happens. Searched Restoro.com and about 50 other problems were listed by users without solutions. Not ready for prime time. $41 down the tubes.

Installed and ran the software, did what it said it must do, now one of my programs doesn't work as it removed something from the registry.
Try getting hold of the aftersales or technical department is a nightmare on its own.
I followed all the instruction given to restore the computer back, nothing works.
I purchased this software for three of our computers, definitely will not be installing this on the other two. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I bought a years worth of service from RESTORO for around $50. It all starts with a phone call. They requested with my permission to scan my computer which they did and of course found 2-3 viruses that there program would not cover because it was outside the system. This would cost an additional $300.00 and would take at least 3 hours over the network. My problem is they would not take NO for an answer. I almost had to just hang up, it was really bad. Just for that I do not recommend them even if the program is good, you will only be pressured more.

Yesterday I received a PayPal invoice for $349 that I didn't recognize. (Anyone can create an invoice from PayPal it turns out.) I found the charge from Restoro on my PayPal account and called the number listed. Instead of removing the charge, they insisted on gaining access to MY computer to remove it. Stupid me went along with this, hearing, "Listen to me" over and over as I went through the same steps repeatedly without achieving their desired effect. (Definition of stupidity! I only reveal my foolishness to help someone else who finds themselves in the same situation.) Thankfully, the computer safeguards wouldn't allow them access. I ended up with a fake Microsoft popup and audio announcement warning that my computer was in danger. That was my exit although I think it was meant to be another excuse for Restoro to "restore" my computer. Oh, and if I was over 60, there would be a 50% service charge! No thank you!
Just flag that PayPal invoice as suspicious and don't waste your time or money on people whose purpose is to deceive and steal from you.

Restoro may have fixed some problems but now I have an annoying constant pop up of "Can not find script." I was under the impression Restoro would fix problems instead of creating them. The procedure to register and install is complicated. When calling to activate, you are dealing with people hard to understand and in my case was rude. Save your money.

I "fixed" everything that was detected by Restoro, but didn't explain what the problem was. After fixing each problem individually, I scanned the pc with Malwarebytes and found 47 problems, all related to Restoro. Exe.
Do not use this program, your PC is probably fine, and if you think you have big issues, go to a local PC shop and ask for their help.

Computer still freezes for several minutes on every site now. Worse than when program was installed. I have called the 24/7 phone number given and been placed on hold

I dont know how good this product is. I am not a techie but I did have trouble in activating the license... so I called and they spent a lot of time with me and fixed the problem... My problem is that they wanted me to spend $290 to "fix ' problems outside of the capability of the software. When I told them I could not afford that they said they had a technician who would do it for $190... These kinds of tactics make any software company look bad... the same thing you get from certain window companies
Even more alarming is that Avast warned me that several of the files contained malware... I know these anti virus programs can sometimes set of false alarms so I am wondering. But the software did get some good reviews on line... Jury is out
