Had a small issue with computer. Checked Restoro reviews, all good, so paid $30+ for scan. Informed that I had a serious virus. Paid over $300 for fix & two yrs. Service. After they accessed it, more problems than it started with. At times inoperable. Requested refund within time they give for receiving one. Assured of help, but given complete run around & no refund. Tried to uninstall program, but always says system is updating & needs to reboot. Around & around we go! Will be reporting them to every agency that might have the means to put them out of business. Kept all emails. Record of purchases on CC invoices. Phone is not downloading to my computer, so can not send proof of purchase.
Restoro ripped me off for $200! They tried to get $500, until I had them convinced I could only afford $200. I found out that the problem with my computer was being caused by the video card! Save your money and time, and forget these ripoff artists!

The software repaired nothing on my computer and seems to remove itself each time I reboot, as the program requires after it allegedly repairs items on the computer. Getting a refund after one day requires an email with an explanation and waiting while they decide when to reply. DO NOT BUY.

My 10 year old HP Pavilion laptop is no better off after running Restoro and paying $250 than it was before I ran it. The sales rep led me to believe that my computer was infested with viruses and trojans when it wasn't. They could not confirm that their program actually did what they said it would do and their support tech changed my video driver resulting in a degradation in video quality.

The program, Restoro, did what it was avertised to do. But the representative tried very hard and repeatedly to have a technician deal with "warnings." (On the most right column, it said, "None." meaning nothing must be done.)
Subsequently I went to another expert, who told me they were normal and not to worry about them, saving me $199 that Restoro wanted to charge for removing them. BTW, as soon as rep realized I was not buying and while I was talking to her, she hung-up.

I had two specific issues, one with outlook and one with restoring my desktop. I was told it would solve both issues - it solved neither - worse it erased all my setting and erased all my passwords and now my snipping tool does not work - do not buy!

Restoro is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I was charged over 700.00 USD for have my computer fixed. Well the opposite happened, I was hacked less than a week after Restoro supposedly had completely secured my computer. Whatever they did, they didn't do it properly because I was hacked, my bank routing number was hacked and I lost $12,000 dollars from that experience. When I took my computer in to a local technician to have it scrubbed they told me restoro had really damaged my computer. Please whatever you do, do not deal with restoro. They leave the door wide open for hackers and in my opinion even invite them in. $12,000 I will never get back, plus the $700.00 dollars I paid them to fix the problems in my computer. WARNING don't touch RESTORO!

I installed Restoro to get rid of some items slowing my computer down. What I got was two trojans embedded in their program, extremely slow boot up and shut down, inability to type in search bars, totally obliterated Phone Link to where I couldn't even uninstall it, and jittery scrolling. Well, I can only comment on my experience with my aged Asus nortebook. I don't know whether my notebook is some sort of special problem but for me this Restoro was complete and utter crap. I feel stupid and abused for paying them for this. Restoro showed up as a message from Microsoft which indicated that something needed to be fixed on my computer. It ended up costing me over $700. Restoro is not associated with Microsoft. I would never have touched it if I had realized that. An expert looked at what you had done. He showed me lists of foriegn websites. Never again.

A one time purchase sets you up for a regular subscription plan you didn't ask for, and it's difficult to figure out how to cancel it. You'll have to visit a couple of different sites and go through a process with an automated assistant to cancel.

Main reason I bought Restoro was that it was advertised to fix broken registries. I run Restoro and when it was gathering information about my system is said I had 61 broken registries. Then it fixed it and restarted my computer. Out of curiosity I run it back immediately after restart and now it reported 93 broken registries. So not only did it fix my computer but it maid things worse. Very disappointed, what a waist of money.

I paid for a year subscription and was told I would get a key code soon in my listed email. I received a receipt with no key code. A few hours later I asked about the key and when I would get it. I was told I should have gotten 2 emails and one was the key... I only got 1 email... I was given instructions on where and how to ask for a second key code to be sent... I followed the instructions and was told I should get an email in the next 15 mins... it has been 48 hours later and still no key code...
