Purchased Restoro and was given a key that didn't work. Therefore, I had to call in to have my problem figured out. After spending upwards of an hour and a half talking to a "technician" while he remotely searches my computer for problems (he does this by opening and closing browsers, so not actually doing anything) he concludes that the only way my computer would be fixed is if I spent $400 dollars for the repair. It is also important to note that he asked me "do you watch porn?". I am still waiting on a refund that was promised to me, however, it seems unlikely that a company like Restore upholds their promises.

At first, I was very impressed with it.
Now, I have to reload & install the program each time I want to run it. Once loaded, it does not show up in my apps file. The shortcut created is no good and must be deleted.
Now, it will not run at all. I've given up hope of using it.

First of all, if Microsoft Security says they are good, who am I to judge.
Renewal was tricky for me. I got it resolved thanks to Jaime G. On their Chat line.
I renewed 10 days early. It made it look like I was a new customer with a new license key.
Then I thought, what will happen on the actual renewal day? So I emailed and then chatted with Jaime.
I had two options: use the new license and add on the days needed to give me a full year of service, or use the old license until the actual renewal date and then start over with the new license key. But, Jaime wrote, I might have to pay out again for the renewal.? So, I came up with the idea of canceling the renewal I did early, get a credit for it, and wait out the next few days for the actual renewal. He agreed and I got my refund today. Thank you.

Restoro scammed me. After a year or their 'service', they 'updated' their software that caused many Microsoft processes to be disabled. To 'fix' the problem, they offered a 'refund', but they claimed they were only able to transfer money directly from their "Chase" bank directly into my bank through a fishy Command prompt interface, where they had me enter the refund amount of "$200.00". The software they were using seemed to have stripped off the decimal point, making it look like $******* had been transferred. In Fact, they somehow transferred the money within my back account, telling me that I owed them $*******.

Don't do it... SCAM... This place is in in the Philippines. A small group with the fix it software. All they do is push buttons. They know nothing but that. I had them upload a new OS in my system and it is now totally useless, The did not do a custom install so all my Outlook and Office info was not fused into the new version, it took them 2 days to do it and got no good explanation. Point is you are better off with the Geek Squad from Best Buy for sure... been 2 months and I am still pissed off and can't seem to get things straight.

On the promise of what this could do, I paid for a year. I came in on the promise that it would FIX windows problems. My Start Menu has no text so i expected improvement. When the scan was finished I opened the start menu. It took twice as long to open and the text was still missing. Cash wasted.

I was prompted that my license was expiring in 3 months. When I followed the link, I was given a new license number and lost 3 months service since the expiration date was from the date ow renewal, not the done year after my first expiration date.
They try to claim that is a normal way to renew.

When I tried to cancel my subscription some guy from their service desk told me I had to provide my bank account info to get a refund. Since I made the purchase using a credit card I asked that they just refund the card. I was told no, they don't refund that way, they need your bank account info or they would lock my computer.

Can't say anything about the technical side of the software. Maybe it is OK... BUT- Don't touch this program! They take your money, and if you are calling their support center- they just trying to lure more money from you, without solving the problem! TELEMARKETING in its worse form! I've waisted 55 minutes in international call fees just to hear how infected my PC is and how desperately I need their extended repair services. And all I needed was just a new activation code, because the one I got 3 weeks ago (for 1 year of service) wasn't working anymore, since I wiped clean my PC. The man ignored my problem and just kept frightening me me with Trojan viruses ("Sir, Do you know what a trojan is?

Was having issues with Outlook no longer synching to iCloud. Purchased subscription. Knew something was off when I had to call to "activate" the subscription and get the tech support I needed. Called for support and first questions asked were how many other devices I had at home and continual attempts to upsell me for expanded coverage and longer term. Told them I would appreciate getting Outlook to work first. Eventually a scan was run and a number of "issues" were identified (they say the issues were not detected by Norton). Could not get past phone tree for service and told that to look into my problem I would need one of their "professional technicians" to evaluate at an added service fee. Service is junk. I terminated the call.

All I needed from support was for them to show me where to enter my key code after my purchase. That turned into a 45 minute upsell. Never found out wherever enter my key and angered me so much that I asked for a total refund on my original purchase. Unethical business practice in my eyes.

Immediately after I bought Restoro, a pop-up up gave me a number to call for the security key to activate it. Restoro pressured me for 20 minutes to spend $400, $700, or $900 to fix everything on my computer. My only issue was freezing once in a while. I finally had to hang up on the woman., who, by the way, had taken control of my computer. She never returned control until I restarted. I've never been so pressured to buy something in my life.

It's been a few days since I paid for a basic plan from Restoro, my bank statement shows payment. However I have not received the registration code to activate the program.
