I had a specific problem on my PC: ESENT error poping up every minute. Google suggested Restoro in answer to my search. So I purchased Restoro and called in to activate the licence. Then came the sales pitch, the scare tactics and the high cost 1,2 or 3 years support from 500$ to 800$. When I refused, the offer came down to 300$ for a 1 time support with 7 day warranty. I am ashamed to say I accepted.
A technician came on line and took over my PC while I was overseing is every move. After an hour or so, he stopped the Restoro app I had run and wrote he had cleaned my PC manualy. Not true. I checked and found ESENT errors were still coming in every minute 2 hours later. I googled, found and apply the solution myself.
Then I decided to run the Restoro app. Took 2h to analyse my PC which still had numerous files to renove an other half hour to complete the repairs and then a never ending reboot that I had to kill wirh a hard shutdown. My PC never recovered and could no longer boot. That was yesterday. Today I was expecting a follow up call that never came. Already asked for a full refund and possible damages to come. The PC is my work tool, so I am out of work until it is repaired. Restoro is now on my blacklist. I hope they will at least have the decency to refund the aervice I paid for and never got. Beware!

This Restoro is one program I think you may have the wrong description on it.
I downloaded and tried it out, and Restoro informed me that I had thousands of errors and needed to fix them.
I decided to pay for it and have Restoro repair my PC, So on paying for the program and not getting the key, I phoned the Restoro phone number, and they wanted to remote into my PC to add the key and fix my computer, I denied them of this, and after 10 minutes of trying to get the key off them I was able to start the cleaning up of all the so-called harmful files I had,
I took screenshots of every movement so I could make sure I was doing the right thing as I trust no one these days, the scan wanted to go to safe mode for scanning, so I allowed it.
After the scan was finished, I was by then very suspicious about everything that was happening,
1. Showing a massive amount of harmful files after the first scan made me worried about nothing
2. The key was not delivered after payment, and I had to chase after it.
3. The technicians wanted to remote into my pc ( even after I said I was a technician)
4. Taking my PC into safe mode.
5. Stayed in safe mode showing a thinking signal after the scan was completed.
6. Restoro showed no files fixed at the end of the scan.
7. Try to uninstall, and a warning comes up that it will return the pc to an earlier time before scan.
I was so tempted to remove the Restoro Program via the Add and Remove programs but decided it was to risky as it will or can download something else, even leaving malware on the PC.
Everything about Restoro shows me that this program is a scam and Malwarebytes very much confirms it, as Restoro leaves many pups in the registry. After the scan by Malwarebytes, Restoro was removed entirely and had 34 pups in the registry quarantined and removed completely.

They charged $270.00 for a Restoro tecnician for supposetely fix many problems showned on the windows event viewer and they simply use a Free Common Adware Removal Tool easely accessible on the internet.
I'm so pissed off. Imagine charging $270.00 for simply running on my PC this FREE Adware Removal Tool by tsa.
Result EVERY problems shown on the event viewer continued since. This is the simple truth. Using the tool by tsa is the ONLY thing they concretely did. SO it is a SCAMM.
And under the kind of subtle marketing scam trick they use is to tell you for ONLY a one time tech service it's $270.00, for a one years service it's about $499.00 and two or tree years it's about $699.00. And remember just for running a free removal tool. Oh Boy... I am so pissed off!

Everybody do yourselves a favor. Stay away from this product and this company! I wrote a review on the product and now I'm letting you know the results. The product screwed up my computer! To this date I am still struggling with my laptop because of this program. I have lost processes and programs due to a so-called bug in a version that was downloaded to my laptop as an update. The customer service is by far the absolute worst that I've ever had the displeasure of working with. You can measure a company and their validity by the customer service you receive. After weeks maybe a couple of months of going through total frustration I said I had enough and I demanded my money back. I sent them several emails and then when I was getting the runaround with the emails I gave them a not too pleasant call. The call was very frustrating as I had to give a piece of my mind not only to the rep that answered the phone but also one of the so-called managers or supervisor. The ineptness that they portrayed was absolutely disgusting. Do you think that they would email me and tell me what they decided about my refund? Of course not! Do you think they would call me? Of course not! They just tried to blow this off as I just found out that I got a refund through PayPal. Well this isn't the end I want my laptop fixed and I am going to take this as far as I have to, to get my laptop back to the way it was before this God forsaken program called restoro screwed it up. They should give the program a different name, screwupo! They think because I got a refund that I'm going to disappear. That's not going to happen. This is fair warning either fix my laptop or these bad reviews will keep on coming!

I have on numerous occassions tried emailing and phoning this company for support after they worked on my Computer. I paif $120.00 for 1 year subscription and they would clear all the errors and mistakes plus remove anyharmful adware etc. plus fix my printer problems. Well since then I have had so many pop ups stationMicrosoft urgent security problem 55 critical security holes, McAfee trying to download their softeware which I don't want or need as I Have Kaspersky. Total Security. Phoner numbers they gave no response to. I have a Support # from my first email May 22 11.42. This is after 3 hrs of them working on my computer. Todayte I have not had a response frome them., I went on line to support today again and compalined and they gave me anoth Support number. So then I phoned a number on that page and held for 15 minutes to have someone finally come on and say all technicians are busy leave a message and some one get back to you. The other number i dialed said it wa s not in service.
I am at the end of my ropes with company and I am seriously thinking of charging them with false advertising unethical business pracrice and anything else. I got cold feet once my bank blocked the payment for 300 dollars and then the lady got pissed off and got very defensive, I looked up reviews and holy crap, every single thing is the same. In-fact, my PC is running better without the support crap on my PC, and the application being blocked is blocked from my Anti-Virus.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. They are not supported or linked by Microsoft even though they try to tell you, I had previous problems on my PC and she messed up by stating that the errors from me unplugging my hard drive on accident was a hacker issue. Do not fall for it.
ALSO BE SURE TO CHECK AND SEE IF THEIR SUPPORT TOOLS ARE STILL ON THE PC!
Restart before doing anything else, they were still logged in as my resolution was changed which was very noticeable. Don't listen to them, just get Norton!
Dispute the charge with Paypal and they will give you your money back.
EDIT: So this was fun, not only did they inject Malware straight into my System32 but I have the logs to prove it. $#*!ing diguesting. I knew the moment she disconnected right away and then tried calling 1 day later that something was fishy, turns out that not only did my Drivers not work anymore but my RAM was being eaten alive. She changed all my system premissions to "Trusted Installer/System" so I couldn't change them, a few things here and there such as crashes and such but the best was that the "Support.Me" Software was still hidden on my PC.
All of that is gone now after about 15 hours of non-stop fighting but it was worth it. $#*! this company, do not spend anything on them.

I purchased the Restoro software program to fix a loss of audio after installing the latest Windows 10 update. The program did not restore my audio, so I contacted Restoro directly. A technician attempted to restore my audio remotely by taking control of my computer, but seemed unable to do so after nearly an hour. He abruptly terminated the session without telling my how, why or how to contact him, and when I called Restoro back to find out what happened, I had to leave a voicemail. My phone message was never returned, but instead I received a boilerplate email response from Restoro over five hours later asking how my session went. Hint: Not great!
(The next day I contacted a local computer tech guy on my own who fixed my issue remotely in less than 20 minutes and at a lower cost than the Restoro program.) Because Restoro failed to do the thing I needed it to do, I called Restoro to ask for a refund. I spoke briefly with a female representative who talked so fast I couldn't get her name. She hastily told me that I would shortly receive a confirmation email of my refund and then hung up on me! Two days later and I hadn't received any refund email, so I called again. This time I spoke to "Jose" who said he would check with customer service and would call me back, and then hung up on me without further explanation or even a goodbye! (In his defense, he did call me back to tell me he contacted customer service and that it would take 24 to 48 hours to get the confirmation email. He said that this was the only thing he could do.) Fortunately, I did receive the refund confirmation email, but paying for software that didn't seem to do anything and dealing with abrupt, rude representatives did not give me warm and cuddly feelings for this company or its product.

I don't know how this system or the customer service method they use could possibly have passed anyone's muster. But this is my trustpilot review to let you know what happened on a real person's computer.
"I recently "cleaned up my computer," by storing a bunch of my things on an external drive and deleting them for my computer. I added a VPN and an encrypted email service because I have been hacked (for over a year and a half) and have just barely been able to evade my hackers. But I thought there might be leftover junk on my computer and it has been running slow since the day we bought it, so I read a few reviews - absolutely not enough! - and had Restoro scan my computer. It turns out to have it clean your computer you have to pay, so I went ahead and paid about $45. After a 3-hour scan in safe mode (as opposed to the 30 minutes they say is about what you should expect at the max) I decided to go ahead and pay and have it clean up my computer." Restoro" BROKO my computer! My VPN will no longer load, several other programs don't work, and although I have shown the screenshots of what's not working and pretty much actually told them which ones were deleted from my windows components, every time I write a letter the same thing happens. A new customer service person responds, doesn't know anything about my problem and asks me to go through it all over again. Oh and apparently there is a mandatory paragraph telling you you can go on chat for quicker service. I tried that twice. What happened was this. The chat bot or customer service representative was busy so I waited. Then the screen went away absolutely gone! Even though I told them that, I still get a new representative or two everyday telling me to get on chat to solve my problem! I've been doing this faithfully for a week and have received absolutely no help. Finally today, the last customer service representative sent me the instructions to delete Restoro from my computer. Without mentioning anything of a refund! I have had it. Don't ever download this program! I don't believe they're scammers, but they are incredibly inept at helping and it is not the individual's fault. It is a systematic approach to customer service that doesn't work worth a hoot! I'm sure you can find better cleaners out there than Restoro. Please try for your own sanity's sake."

So yesterday I bought and paid for the 24-hour license to fix some minor computer issues. Once paid for I received a license activation which I used. Restoro told me my license was activated then shut off when I pressed "Fix Problems". I restarted it which then had to do a 10 min scan and concluded with trying to get me to pay for the same thing again. I put my already purchased activation code in again and it takes me to the fix problems button which when I push shuts the damn program down again.
At this point I called their tech support, after a 5 min wait I get a guy on and explain my situation. His first response is that he wants to take over my screen. I ask why? He responds with "I want to see if you did something wrong". I then tell him; "how did I do something wrong if it gave me an "Activation Successful" message and the problem lies with restoro not fixing the problems?"
He of course ignored this and claimed the only way he could help is by taking control of my computer. I said that's not going to happen and WTF are you selling a repair system that does not work itself? He stated it does work if he can get control of my computer. I then at this point stated that since I was sold a defective product I want to cancel the transaction. He came back with "well you already used it", which I then informed him again that "I'm calling him because I CAN'T USE IT and I WANT MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM".
This goes on for 10 mins and at that point I informed him that the conversation has been recorded and that I blast this program all over the Internet. He said he will submit a request for a refund but it will take up to 48 hours to get a response. I told him that if I have to stop this transaction via my credit card company I will sue them for whatever costs I incure.
I will follow up by tomorrow at this time with the results. This is not a legit company at all.

Initially I downloaded and activated Restoro to update my drivers for my new computer. After activating it and being told Restoro could solve my issues, they reported finding malware on my computer and managed to convince me to pay for the one-time technician support session.
Keep in mind, my issues were simply malware and updating my drivers. What resulted was 5 hours of extreme frustration as the technician assigned to help me decided to DOWNGRADE my OS to Windows 10 (FOR NO GOOD REASON), and I did not get any call back or any notification of how my issues would be continued to be resolved. My apps would not function, so I called back to restore Windows 11, and fix the other issues. The next technician could not even download Windows 11 correctly, as I watched them essentially screw around to see if they could figure out how to download it. Funny enough, I watched them hit "OK" for the Windows 11 download that EXPLICITLY stated I would need an external DVD drive since it was downloaded as an ISO file. Of course, once it finished downloading, I could not install Windows 11 due the aforementioned file issue. I genuinely questioned if they knew what they were doing.
I ended up resetting my computer since it was still new and I could re-download my files as needed (which solved all my issues). I told them I wanted a full refund for the $150 one-time technician session, and was told I would get a partial $100 dollar refund for the year subscription I purchased (~$45) and partially for the technician session. I only received a refund for the subscription. It had been a 5 hour endeavor at this point, and I was so immensely frustrated I refused to bother dealing with them again, even if it meant receiving the full $100 refund.
In my eyes, what I payed for for Restoro, was for inexperienced technicians to make my issues worse, not properly handle the problems at hand, and waste my time and money. I am sure others may have had luck with this service, but I did not.
