Remember the good old saying let the buyer beware. Or how about this one if it sounds too good to be true it usually is! And that's the case with this POS software and definitely the customer service. I had the unfortunate experience of allowing one of their texts to take control of my computer because this program was all screwed up and it screwed up my computer. I asked for help and boy did they help me as a matter of fact they bent me over and gave it to me good! The tech was on my computer for 5 hours and didn't even have the courtesy to tell me what was wrong after 5 hours. The only thing she could say was that the program had a bug and said I would get an email when the tech department resolves the issue. It's like a month now and I requested a call back but do you think anybody would call. If you guess no you're correct. This so-called program bug wiped out numerous processes on my laptop and I haven't had a moment's rest since! So let me warn you a company is only as good as the customer service or the tech support. The customer service sucks! The tech support totally sucks!
At the time they seemed personable and knowledgeable but the next time I turned it on it was in worse shape. Overpriced and ended up having to get a new computer on top of it. Never again

Spent £31 on visa for 1 year sub... installed setup... got keycode (the receipt no.) wouldn't copy/paste) keyed in manually, (i wrote it down) ok,"activated"... ran prog twice. Second time desktop icon disappeared, so had the program... windoze search, found "setup. Exe" reinstalled... 'you need premium ' (i just bought it) ok reopen keycode window, key in code that worked yesterday. "this code is invalid"
so no premium prog... I then ran SPYBOT a freebie, found 17 examples of Malware seeded by Restoro... and the program deletes itself after use. MAGIC!
So uninstalled, deleted all traces of restoro, and called visa. What a waste of time.

My computer had become nearly useless, with many apps not opening and printer not connecting. Bought their product and a telephone number appeared on my screen, which I called. A woman with an Asian accent answered and took control. She scolded me repeatedly (I'm 67 years old) for not updating often enough (I check updates daily). She the said I had to pay her $400 (I had already paid the $41 they advertise online). I objected, and she lowered it to $300, then $200, then $120. I called her a scammer and she dropped it. She showed me some files she claimed was malware, and claimed she was removing it. I later saw I had been billed $49, not $41. A few functions were restored, but "logmein rescue" is now on my screen and can't be removed. I still can't print and my Microsoft Office 360 is gone. I've repeatedly called their number and always get a recording that they're busy and to try again later. I'm going to have to waste my money on the Geek Squad or maybe buy a new computer. Restoro is a complete scam. They will charge more than they advertise and will not fix your computer. Stay far away from Restoro.

Last year I purchased a subscription from them seeing that it was set for automatic resubscription I called to insure that the charge would not be made, they assured me that they had taken care of it, last week I was charged 350 dollars that I was not comfortable being charged by this company, because of this I sent emails to two sources in attempt to get a refund and have not gotten a response within a week.

More than 2 hours trying to fix issues and I still have the issue that I originally went to them with. Leave the system alone for 5 minutes and something is locking it up and using 100% of the CPU.

Just use some other cleaner software that is better and free. It's also not always accurate as to what it detects as malicious, since it may detect anticheat software from games as harmful.

The software does not work. My computer is still slow and the software hangs-up and the final screen and I have to force quit the application. Went to website to get refund and filled out the refund page and never got a response back. Then I reached out to Paddle when they do the billing through and was told they would reach out to Restoro so they would reach out to me. That didn't happen so I emailed Paddle again and they said they couldn't refund me and gave me a link to Restoro to speak to someone via chat. I was told over 60 days so no refund. I asked for them to cancel my subscription and give me a prorated refund which I think is fair for a reputable software company. They refused so I just told them to cancel my subscription and Manuelyn P. (person I chatted with) said she would cancel the auto-renewel. I asked her to send me an email confirming auto-renewal had been canceled. She then sent me this, "To help you, we have now forwarded to our Customer Service Team the cancellation of the auto-renewal option on your subscription today. This means you will not be automatically charged once your subscription expires. You will receive an email with more information from our Customer Service Team within 24 - 48 hours." If I don't get an email from them confirming I'll update post. I have a feeling I'm going to get billed again. I would avoid doing business with this company. In fact rule of thumb is if they don't have a phone # to contact someone via a phone call, don't do business with them.

I purchased their program to recover an overwritten excel file. When their program did not recover the file I called for assistance. The salesman convinced me to purchase their technical service at $299 U.S. with a 60 day guarantee and they would recover my file and clean up the files their program could not. I said if they could not recover the file I did not want the service. The tech first tried to recover the file and went through the same file recovery process that I had already done and knew did not work. He said he was not able to recover a file and that it was not their type of service. I was mad and he said he was not the one who told me that their tech's could recover files which they cannot. I advised the tech the contract was void and to do nothing further and I wanted a $299 refund. He said he was just technical support and would have to pass this back to Administration. Given the tech advised he could not retrieve files, I was sold this service under false pretenses. They would only return $199 and the salesman did not advise that I would not get a full refund when he said there was a 60 day guarantee. They refunded the software fee (which I did not want a refund for), but I assume kept $100 for their salesman's time.

Scanned my computer, it said I needed to pay a fee to repair it so I did the one time repair, the agent remote into my computer then proceeds to tell me my computer needs $250 worth of repairs and when I told her no way the Agent, Fhannie hung up on me! To top it off it didn't fix the original reason I purchased it!

I thought this service was for pc repaid. I paid $40.00 and received a message that I would have to call a number to download the software. I had purchased software in the past and never did I have to call. I called the number and so lady wanted access to my computer and I received a warning from my security software WARNING this company will have access to your personals data. What they don't tell you when purchasing the software is that you have to call in to activate your software. Then they try to gain access to your computer thru remote software. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DO THIS BECAUSE THEY WILL BE HACKING YOUR COMPUTER! I just reported them to my credit card company and I urge you to do the same if you have given them your credit card info!
