They fraudulently charged my PayPal account this time last year for a product I did no order. I reported it and got a refund. They just hit my PayPal account again yesterday for a renewal. I alerted PayPal and they wouldn't refund the money as they said it was not an "unauthorized" transaction since they checked and I have a subscription with automatic renewal. Now I am fighting with RESTORO customer service about getting a refund. They want to talk 30-60 days to send my money back. This rep keeps blowing smoke screens and trying to cover up. They are NOT keeping my money for up to 2 months on a fraudulent charge. I think not. This guy on chat ID #SPK-809-*******. I was having bluescreen issues after installing a few new parts, out of desperation I googled recommended repair programs and this was the first I saw. Obviously a paid trap. I purchased the one year, they do not send you an activation key, don't let the autobot reply to this fool you. They make you call their 1800 number and let a rep remote in to your pc and start typing in basic monitor commands via run. 45 minutes later she says that I have so many issues that it needs to be escalated for an additional fee, and said that my OC'd 5GHz i9 *******k was SLOW. Talked to me like I was 70 years old and knew nothing. I politely asked for a refund as I could tell what was happening, and they fight you tooth an nail. Kept trying to cut me off, forcing me into Karen mode when I told her "that's fine, I'll just make a trip to my bank tomorrow and back charge this as fraud". Told her to blow it out her $#*!, to which she screamed "yOu cAn kEeP yOuR mOnEy!" and hung up on me. I received a email cancellation shortly after and then a second email saying my purchase had been refunded, but I trust them as much as I trust a thief not to steal, which is exactly what they are. Thieves. Will be maintaining an eye on my bank account and will most likely be cancelling my debit card and applying for a new one shortly.

The initial purchase price is just the gateway to spending an additional $300 to $500 for tech support that will undoubtedly be required (per the Restor rep) to solve the literally thousands of problems my PC purportedly had. I spent about an hour hearing about all the third party programs that were supposely not working properly. This included Norton, which definitely was working properly. The rep had no idea what Carbonite was. I supposedly had viruses that were never identified by Norton. She was difficult to understand (to her credit being multi-lingual with English as a second or third language) and very persistent (gross understatement) that I must buy the extended service package to solve all my problems since the basic program only solved Windows issues. This program limitation was news to me. I heard ad infinitum what a great deal this was compared to taking my PC into a repair shop. Also if I wanted to go forward with the increased technical support, I had to use McAfee, not Norton, for virus protection. It was difficult to conclude the call. She came back with a better offer that still would have cost an additional $150. After telling her repeatedly I wasn't interested and finally getting her off the phone, I saw that I had the same problem Restoro was supposed to resolve. To their credit, Paddle, the reseller of Restoro, promptly issued a credit for the full purchase price.

I just bought the Premium Plan and had to call to get it activated. After a thorough analysis which seemed very thorough, I was told I needed a system engineer to solve the issues. I was given an option for a one time plan that was very expensive, then I was offered another plan that was still expensive, about $500. When I said I need time to think about it, I was made to feel like an idiot for not addressing the security issues identified immediately. When I insisted I still needed to think about it, I was offered another plan straight from Restoro that cost less but offered everything the second plan offered. Now why wasn't I offered the third less expensive but more comprehensive plan in the first place? It was a hard sell and feels like a big scam. I don't know if the Restoro Premium program that I already paid for will actually do anything. I was expecting a program that would identify issues and that would automatically clean up and address the issues it identified, not having to talk to an agent and get a hard sell. Really upset!

"The complete system solution," as they define it. A "Full Money Back Guarantee," as they define it. I had a relatively simple issue, one of my Outlook email accounts wasn't syncing and I showed the service technician the problem before we got started. While she was still running the diagnostics on my computer (about 5-7 minutes into the call) she informed me that my issue was more then my operating system and that we would need to get another technician involved (more money). I informed her that I was not having problem with my Windows 10, I informed her that my problem was with Outlook and I reminded her that I had just showed her that 5-10 minutes earlier. She began to get belligerent with me and I asked to speak with a Supervisor. Supervisor called me back about 20 min later and the same story. I explained again to the Supervisor that I wasn't having any issues with the speed of my computer or the operating system and I reexplained that my issue was with Outlook and one of my accounts not being online for some unexplainable reason. I know this companies reviews appear pretty positive but based on the service technician and Supervisor in the Philippines that I spoke with, I would not use or recommend this company. By the way, I'm 57 year old male, graduated from a major US University and am fairly proficient on computers. This is the second review I've written.

Downloaded this product to see if it works before I bought it. They give a 24 hour free edition before you buy.
It goes through a wizard of scanning your PC and comes back with a summary of your PC (PC profile, crashed programs, Malware, junk files, broken registry, privacy traces). Each of these have a individual "repair" button, or you can purchase the full product to "repair" it fully.
My issue on my PC has been BSOD's, so I was mostly interested in the 'crashed programs' section. I ran the scan, clicked the "repair" for each of the crashed programs, and it comes back quickly with an appearance that it did repair them. I also fixed the registry as well, in case this was related in someway to the BSOD's for my machine.
After all this, I continue to get BSOD's on my machine. After my PC comes back up, it fails to find the new crashes but it does find the broken registry entries again. While it doesn't actually fix my BSOD's, it did give me some ideas of what to look at.
On the bad side, my PC did crash 3 times during me trying to right this review. I would not recommend this for troubleshooting BSOD's.

I had an old 8.1 system that had been upgraded from 8 on my PC. After reading some positive reviews of restoro I thought I'd try it to clear out and speed up this system, even though it was working fine. After installing restoro it went to work on my system which lasted most of the day. After hours I was prompted to restart my system to finish. When it restarted a very short image of DOS prompt appeared, but then screen went black and nothing more would work, or show on my computer. I tried contacting them and got no response for days. After two days of trying I finally got the computer to go into system recovery, which I applied. I lost all files and photos and the system went back to this old system. I then tried to update back to 8.1, but to no avail since updates would no longer work for this old system. I finally got hold of restoro and made a date with a tech to do an over the phone repair and update. When the appt. Time came I sat by the phone for half an hour and no one from restoro called. Their customer service sucks! I needed to update to newer system at some point, but wasn't planning on it for a while. I finally had to buy a new PC with the latest 11 system. I don't know why there are any positive reviews for this program, since my experience was absolutely negative. I'm just a home user, but I can't imagine someone apply this lousy program that had any files on their computer that they couldn't afford lose and then have something like this happen.

After a Windows 10 upgrade from W7 I ended up with no sound, a Windows update error and a Networks available list that won't open. I downloaded and paid for Restoro. Scanned, etc. Then I read "Welcome to your new computer"; except that everything was still the same. Not a single issue fixed. Not impressed.
I just emailed them to demand a refund.
Update: it seems Restoro's response to reviews is a one size fits all. I HAD already emailed their "support" address with all the details of what I purchased, and with every detail so they could verify my account. I told them their software fixed absolutely nothing and I wanted a refund.
I received an automated response right away, assuring me I would hear back from them "within 24 hours". That was at least 4 days ago and I've not heard from them at all.
Final update!
I contacted Restoro again, via their live chat this time which they provide the link for in their response to every review on this site.
It took some rather firm talking on my part, and all I wanted to chat about was a refund. I can be reasonable and understand that technology can be unpredictable at times and don't always go the way we want. However, not having heard from them at all for days, after automated email said they'd contact me "within 24 hours" destroyed any trust I had left.
They finally agreed to give me my money back. I later received an email confirming I had cancelled my 1 year membership and, to my surprise, the full refund was in my bank account this morning. So I will at least credit them with that.
If like me you're not happy with this product, be persistent, and go to live chat for your refund. It worked for me.

While experiencing computer problems almost a year ago, I purchased a "One Time" subscription based on positive reviews I'd seen. It proved unhelpful, so I uninstalled it -- or so I thought. A few months later, I got new anti-malware software that discovered more that had not been uninstalled. But that was not the end, it gets worse. A couple of days ago, I got a notice from "Paddle" (who "peddles" their wares) that the "One Time" subscription was set to renew soon. Huh?! "One Time" subscription was going to autorenew? So, I clicked on the link thinking that it might have a way to cancel that renewal. (In hindsight, that was probably a mistake) That webpage showed no option to cancel, so I replied to the email indicating my displeasure in strong terms (but not swearing or anything), then shut down for the night. The next morning, when I booted up my computer, I got a message that the Trash Bin was corrupted. Hmmm. When it finished booting, I did a quick internet search for a solution. The very first "hit" was a website that was promoting Restoro as a solution... coincidence? You decide. (Note that I found an easy fix elsewhere not requiring purchase of additional software)
