I completely agree with the 494 negative reviews that have gone before mine. This company should not be allowed to conduct business. The site deliberatively deceives, overcharges, and underserves. I hope the BBB will investigate and discredit this organization. Thirty-one negative reviews (100%) and 161 customer complaints speak volumes with respect to the lack of integrity of reservations.com. Make sure you are not unintentionally dealing with this horrid organization.
I was booking a stay with Marriott and somehow? Got diverted to reservations.com
The room was advertised at £92 a night
I gave all details name address card etc and the page crashed saying error
I immediately came off the site, unfortunately £133 was taken out my account with seconds, I rang the company straight away and explained about the site etc only to be told that the vat and fees page is displayed before card details which it wasn't there is no way I was going to pay £133 when Marriott site selling the same room for £92
I'm very annoyed that I fell for this site I honestly thought I was booking with Marriott direct.
I made reservation with this site when I saw a rate for hotel room that I was willing to pay.
After I completed my reservation, the reservation confirmation returned with a rate almost 30 dollars more.
Later I got an e-mail with a daily rate charged to my Credit card for over 100 Dollars in addition to a service fee. This is outright unscrupulous and dishonest. I can easily call this firm a bunch of Shysters!
I will never open their website. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
They quoted me a price, a Canadian booking a Canadian hotel with a Canadian credit card, and Canadian billing address and he runs it through in USD, never once saying the price is in USD. Over 40 mins on the phone to try and get my money back. Do not use.
I went to book a room with marriott and was misled about the booking site. Unfortunately, I booked through reservations.com thinking it was Marriott. The actual charge to my credit card was ~$150 more than the website booking total. The email receipt is completely worthless with NO indication of the cost and fees. This is a very deceitful company and should be investigated by law enforcement agencies. And, since it involves interstate commerce, I imagine they violate federal law as well!
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS WEBSITE!
DONT USE THIS COMPANY! I book a trip and had to cancel within 15 minutes. Contacted the CS and they stated "no problem" but they billed me a service fee on my credit card of $15 and states it's a service fee. It took them less than 10 seconds to cancel this on their computer and they will NOT tell you this at time of conversation with their agent. Crap company!
We thought we were calling the hotel when we were actually calling reservations.com. A person with poor English skills did not identify the entity that we were calling, did not disclose their no-refund policy, and did not disclose the fee amount (19.99). They added no value and cost more than booking directly through the hotel. We re now attempting to cancel the reservation with apparently little success. DO NOT USE THIS SO-CALLED SERVICE.
I try to be understanding when it comes to online companies because I make my living the same way but this deal with making my reservation to reservations.com was horrible and costly. I tested positive for covid and wasn't able to keep my reservation so I called the motel directly and they couldn't or wouldn't cancel for me so they had me call reservations.com and that number was no good. Finally got through using the number from the email they sent and this was 1/2 before checkin time. They did cancel my reservation but kept nearly half of my money for some cancellation clause they claim is on my reservation. Unbelievable the ordeal I had to go through on top of the worry I now have being positive for covid with diabetes and being elderly. Absolutely done with making reservations with anyone other than directly with the motel. Sorry for the rant.
The company is misleading costumers and is committing F R A U D
Reservation was made Hotel cancelled and Reservation.com did not refunds the money without providing the service, literally F R A U D
As the hotel cancelled but the third party Reservation.com just took the money without providing the service. $99 ended onto $132,89 hotel never got the money as cancelled and reservation.com unilaterally took the money.
Please don't book with them is FRAUD
This company falsely represented themselves as the Hotel - confirmed my booking - then sent me a confirmation in USFUNDS. When I complained, they charged me a 14.99 US funds fee to cancel.
This is a Canadian Hotel chain, booked in Canada, from Canada. They blamed me for not asking if it was in USFunds -
Horrible customer service - all they say is "I'm sorry - company policy"
The Pullman Hotel is being renovated and will become a Doubletree. What I like about Doubletree is the warm cookie I get upon check in.
My room for the weekend was at the end of the hallway on an upper floor. I had a rather good view, about three blocks from the Ohio River. Looking to my left I could see a mall where I chose to eat dinner and do some sightseeing, despite the rain.
The floor in the hallway had remodeling debris, but that can be expected.
I loved the light fixtures I could have gotten them in my luggage, but I would have had to do some rewiring when I got home. Hey, I'm not an electrician, I'm a journalist. I left them for others to enjoy.
The telephone was not hooked up and there was no notebook telling me about the complimentary breakfast and other amenities. But on the plus side the valets were super friendly and helpful. One even went back to my car to retrieve my train ticket for the next day.
I did not ask for a front desk number to call the van to pick me up after the train ride. I was on the verge was walking back to the hotel in the rain when one of the bus drivers said he would alter his route to drop me off at the Pullman.
The room itself was nice. Once you get through with the remodeling, the hotel should be really great. I mentioned to friends when I got home that I stayed at the Pullman, and some said they had stayed there.
Even though they advertise possibility of full cancellation, they will still charge you "a processing fee" if you cancel. Avoid reservation.com at all costs
I accidently used these guys to reserve a hotel for a 3 week stay, they are very sneaky until they have your money, then they are happy to tell you they are not the hotel and you should call the hotel to solve your problem. I was on a Government trip so I shouldn't be charged tax. They charged it, so I called them back. They said, have the hotel take it off when you check in. I did that, called them to get it refunded, at first he said we need a name and title from someone at the hotel. So I waked to the front desk got that, called back and he put in the request, put me on hold for 10 minutes then told me my request was declined but he could offer me a "one time courtesy refund" of $125. That didn't sound very courteous to me so we argued for a while then he said if I wasn't happy with the courtesy refund that he would have to escalate it and they would get back to me in 5 days. The government pays they room fees but now I am stuck with a $450 bill for the taxes.
It was great to go on-line and get reservations in minutes for an unexpected get-away. We got exactly what we wanted which made our trip most enjoyable.
Looking good so far. I have now booked accommodation for the nights at the beginning and end of our holiday. Hopefully all requests etc will turn out well. Very happy with prices.
Bummer! The room rate was way higher with all of their fees. No refunds or cancellations. Cost me around 70$ more a night than the hotels website. I'm so stupid!
Was charged a $20. Service fee and $102. For incidentals whatever that is
Would never use them again

Something should be done about them. I was charged twice for a one night stay. I feel they stole $123.00 plus the $14.95 booking fee. I contacted customer service and got no where.
Company asked for positive Covid test in order to grant refund. Hotel was compliant, this vendor is giving us the run-around. Would not have used this service had I read reviews first.
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!
Answer: Hello, Thank you for question. Please contact us at support@reservations.com so we can better assist you with this matter. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely Reservations.com Support Team
Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
