First of all the size of the bathroom in a fully prepaid luxury room.
Second the uncleanliness of the air grates on the air conditioner
Third dirty garbage cans and when the cleaning staff was notified nothing was done to rectify the problem.
Fourth your day shift on hand customer service rep was very discerning when we asked about signing up for the red roof points club to get a free room I. The future and his response was it was not valid on purchasing rooms on cheap internet sites.
That was a real piss off as we are supporting your hotel with revenue but I think we will take our business elsewhere.
And lastly what is the deal with the envelopes left in the room about leaving tips.
No way in the coldest day in hell would I leave a tip in the way things were during our three night prepaid time.and to have it left I. The room is extremely precocious and very unsettling...
I had a sudden death in the family that caused me to cancel my reservation outside of the allowed cancellation window. Reservations.com did the right level of due diligence to confirm my story as they should, but did not make it painful. I feel that they cared.
When you're planning to stay in a big city with plenty of hotels to choose from, you better have a good plan. I'm really happy with Reservations.com. I got to see a list of hotels, narrowed them down by location and price, and got myself booked and now enjoying my stay! Thanks!
These crooks run a bait and switch routine on their rates which will be higher than what you could book yourself and then after you confirm you find out they have added on a 19.99 service charge. I immediately called to cancel when I saw what they had done and was told it was not possible to cancel. If you book on line be sure they have not highjacked your booking. Stay far away from this outfit!
I was also booking a hotel in Riverside, CA when was somehow switched to Reservations.com, also non-refundable. During the time of my booking as I was originally in one hotel and put in my dates, etc. and then when I got my confirmation it was through Reservations.com and a completely different reservation than what I was booking originally in a completely different state. Please be aware and NEVER use this company. I have been on the phone for the last two hours trying to remedy and now filing a dispute. This company is running a big scam and can't speak English when you ever get a hold of someone.
BEWARE! They will charge you USD when booking and expect you to know how to change the currency. Its like 20 pages down and in the greyed out area where you will see the licensing and crap. Then they tell you its on the last page before you check out... ya you have to click a couple things and maximize everything just to see it at the bottom of the page. No one was willing to help and of course everything is non refundable. They are literally crooks and its pathetic how they are still getting away with not putting the currency on any of the prices.
After thinking I was purchasing a room directly from the hotel site, I was redirected to this Guest Reservations site and the cost was $100 more than what it said. And the credit card was already processed and their policy was un-cancellable! This website is a rip-off! They only trap folks like me and charge a lot of money like 30% to 80%. WATCH OUT!
I was directed to Reservations.com when I clicked to reserve a room on the hotel website. I fell for the higher discounted rate and booked a room. Upon completion of my reservation another booking website popped up with an extremely lower rate for the same hotel room. I immediately called reservations.com customer support to cancel my reservation. They rudely refused because it is in the fine print that due to the higher discounted rate this booking is non refundable. $175 per night is not a good rate when you can book the same room with a friendlier site for $109. Warning never use reservations.com to book anything.
Harold pretended to be American Airlines. Promised a refund he never processed and charged egregious fees (50% of the ticket price). BUYER BEWARE. This company isn't even a travel agency--they book the tickets like any consumer would.
Thought I was calling the hotel directly, the agent was very clever not to mention she was a reservation.com agent. I ended up in an Econo Lodge in Savannah, again she did not mention there was a $19.95 fee! Just gave me the total price. The hotel was disgusting, dirty, curtains hanging off rail, lights not working. I called reservation.com to change out of this hotel, was on hold for 20 mins. No help from the agent and was told I could not change hotels and would not receive any money back. Beware! When you think you are calling the actual hotel on site, you will be on to reservations.com and will have no comeback when you want to cancel. The fee will always be non-refundable. Never again! I wrote to reservations.com to complain and they never responded.
I did a search for a hotel in Flagstaff, AZ. On the first page of the search results at the very top was a listing that linked to what appeared to be the hotel's website. It was a very inclusive site with information about all of the hotel's amenities. They had a link to reservations. It was only after I received my confirmation that I realized I had been ripped off. Reservations.com listed "taxes & fees" that were nearly $20 more a night than what the hotel charged. This was in addition to the $19.99 "service fee" Reservations.com charged for the reservation. Buyer beware when you're dealing with petty crooks like Reservations.com.
I made a reservation through this company and realized that there was big difference in fees compared to just booking through the hotel directly. Then, when I tried to cancel, there was a non-refundable $20 service fee! Do NOT use this service... they should have offered to refund the whole amount because I had booked and wanted to cancel the same day and the reservation was months away. So I'm out $20 just because I used their service.
I wouldn't be surprised if my Credit Card gets hacked after using them as well. SO MAD!
Should be a -10. This is a scam. Do not book though reservations.com! Once they have your credit card they charge you whatever they feel! You have no rights to change/cancel plus they add whatever they want for service charges! And in US dollars!!! This is not disclosed until after you pay!!! Stay away
They did not reveal booking fee. They showed amount of total charge on emailed reservation, then when they sent confirmation, after they had charged my credit card, they had added an additional $14.99 for booking fee. Fee was not disclosed upfront. Called and they said if I cancelled, they retain the fee anyway! Horrible!
We made reservations for the wrong date. When we realized our mistake we called within 24 hours to cancel our reservation. Initially they refused to give a refund. After the third call they claimed they had processed our refund - I do not trust them and will contact our credit card company to cancel payment.
I never make unrefundable reservations but dis this time. We had a death in the family and cannot make our trip and the customer service person was very cold and would do nothing to help. All she would say is there is no option to cancel which from other reviews I see is not true. I will never use this site again and warn others not to either.
I travel for work all the time and used this website for the first time. I won't write a huge message, just don't ever use this website, use other platforms!
Customer Service is thee worst I have ever witnessed.
There was problem after problem with them.
If I could give no stars I would
Had rooms booked for three nights, got billed $554.67 plus BS $19.99 service charge when rooms booked, billed automatically on credit card. Cancelled a room for first night due to highway closed due to snowstorm, when we arrived at hotel next day my other nights two rooms had been cancelled since we didn't show for first night despite room being prepaid. So had to pay again, now fighting tooth and nail with Reservations.com to get reimbursed, customer service very rude, can't understand english, understand whatever lanquage
I did not know I was routed over to this website when making my reservation for a hotel 5 months ago. I never do a non-refundable rate unless it is a day of reservation. Some how, I got a non-refundable rate and they charged by $19.99 to make a reservation that I could have made over the phone for free with free cancellation. I am very careful when booking things so I am not sure how this got by me so be careful when making reservations. I wish I could go back and see my browsing history to see how this happened.
When attempting to book a room, I ended up on this website. I'm still not sure how that happened. They put up an $85 price for the room. Of course I knew there would be taxes and fees. When I received my confirmation, the bill was a whopping $119. When calling them directly I found out I was charged a $15 booking fee and that that was made clear when I made the reservation. They would not give me a refund or allow me to cancel the reservation without losing the $15. After going back to see if I missed anything, there was a popup with this information at the very bottom - not readily visible. You don't even realize you are being charged! These guys are scam and ripoff artists. Avoid at all cost. You can get the same thing without the ridiculous extra fees! After several email conversations with their support team, they refunded my $15. I should say I tried to get them to do the same thing over the phone but got nowhere. I appreciated the refund, but would still stay clear of them.
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
