On two recent reservations the final amount did not match up with amount with amount given at time reservation was made.
I was told at hotel that I cannot get a receipt for the stay, receipts can only be provided by Reservations.com. When I go to your web site and select receipt all I get is reservation confirmation, not a receipt.
Visiting Napa Valley was always in my bucket list and I'm glad I got to cross that one off my list finally! Thanks to Reservations.com of course for helping me find a hotel that wasn't too expensive. Stayed at Hotel St. Helena and it was just charming!
We paid over 200 a night to stay and had to pay another 20 dollars a night to park. At times the vallet was so backed up it would block the entire driveway and you could get out of their parking lot. Everyone was very friendly though.
When I booked, I received an email saying that the cancellation deadline is the day prior to my booking. I called 2 minutes after I made the booking to cancel, and they refused.
And the manager was beyond rude.
I offered user experience improvement tips which was not receive. They seem to just want to scam people. Not a trustworthy business.
Went to the Country Inn & Suites website. I thought I was calling the Country Inn reservation number. I called back and cancelled my reservation 20 minutes later. They still charged me a $19.99 service fee. They charged my credit card for the room. They told me that my fund would take up to 30 days! I'm hoping a get it!
I realized I had made a reservation for the wrong city and called the company within 5 minutes to cancel the reservation and make a reservation for the correct city. They will not refund a $20 service fee. If I made another reservation for the correct city immediately I would be charged an additional $20 service fee again. When I questioned this policy the agent disconnected the call. I wish I had read reviews before I used this company and of course will never use reservations.com in the future.
Made a reservation to this company by accident. Got the wrong number. Called them back when I got the receipt and talked to the same guy who was still finishing up my order and explained that I called the wrong company. He promised a refund. Instead I was billed $76 for my troubles. I use AZ shuttle who charges $40 v/s their $75.
CSR******* was my reservation number if you need to check. I filed this with Visa as a scam outfit. Guess no problem proving that, eh!
I also thought I was booking through the hotel. When I tried to cancel they said I had booked through Expedia (another company to avoid). It got worse from there. They knew nothing about it. After two hours and numerous phone calls and misinformation I was finally able to cancel the reservation. Then the $14.99 showed up on my credit card. I am disputing that. I knew nothing about it.
Your company is a fraud and bad joke! I have been trying for days to cancel my reservation and all i am told is that it cant be cancelled because im not providing you with thd correct zip code and last 4 digits of my credit card. First of all my reservation number and itinerary number and name should be enough to cancel anything within your system. Secondly, I contacted my credit card company and they already have the charges listed as pending so how you can possibly say I'm not providing the right information to you but you've managed to charge it to the correct credit card in my name is beyond my wildest imagination. My credit card company has already been notified that this bill will be in dispute and they've noted in my account your company's actions and they contacted their fraud department and trust me, I will not be paying one single penny toward your company and will post your fraudulent actions on every social media app available.
BEWARE this is a scam organization. First, the charges are in US dollars, no matter where the hotel is. Second, there is a "service fee" that they don't warn you about. Third, the rates they advertise are not cheaper than the hotel rates - in our case they were more! Fourth, their cancellation policy makes it impossible to get a refund and rebook. Stay away.
I was tricked into booking at what I thought was the hotel site and immediately saw a $19.99 service charge added, which is non-refundable from the moment you send.\
This company is crooked. DO NOT USE THEM.
Only sorry that I can't give 0 stars. Tried to go to the web site for a hotel in Columbus, Ohio, and ended up in Reservations.com by mistake. (Check the URL carefully to make sure that you're not in the wrong site.) Booked two hotel stays with Reservations.com, but knew something was wrong when they immediately charged my credit card for the full amount - not something that the hotel would do. Called the hotel directly and booked at a cheaper rate - saved more than $40 on each of two 2-night stays. Then cancelled reservations made through Reservations.com, but got hit with non-refundable fee of $20 for each reservation. Reservations.com had higher rates and fees than directly from the hotel, immediately charged my credit card, and had non-refundable service fees - a total ripoff. I will be very careful to avoid them in the future.
These people are aweful to deal with on the phone! They cant answer any of my questions as to why I was billed 64$ in taxes on a 228$ Hotel. Even the hotel I booked with stated in Ontario the only sales taxes are a total of 16%. Last time ill ever book with these people. Shame on me for not paying attention to this while booking but shame on these people for billing that plus a 15$ service fee. Especially when they cant even answer a question as simple as "Why am I paying 2x the taxes".
My cousin tried to use this horrible service for a trip and when they tried to call the hotel they were booked at. It had been closed due to a fire. Not a present fire. A fire months ago. So they tried to get a refund and because of incompetence they missed the time line... my cousins cancelled in plenty of time and have the email proof. But the moronic person who had to do it on their end just didn't until 4 hours later... now no refund. So had to pay twice. Absolutely horrible. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I will keep posting this on Facebook. And will review on all the sites I can think of
2nd time I have been unknowingly redirected to this website when looking at a specific hotel. I paid $150 more because of this company and they refused to do anything to rectify it! They are thieves and should be shut down! If it was possible to give them a negative number for their rating I would.
I called to reserve 3 rooms and it was suppose to be completely refundable, after I had to cancel due to the weather I found out they turned it into 2 reservation and kept 2 charges of 19.95 for a reservation fee. Please do not use this company they will RIP you OFF
Classic Bait & Switch. Quote one price and bill you a higher one. Called them to tell them the problem. They said that they would have to look into it and review recording. Will take 5 to 7 Business days. You know they will say the agent quoted what they billed. SCAM!
I used this service to reserve a room at a nice downtown hotel for a fun evening out with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. The very next day I found that we had a conflict with the night we chose. No problem, I contacted the reservation service (still a week away from our intended date) but they said there was no cancelation and I could not move the date without forfeiting the entire $290. What reservation service does not allow for changes in plans? What a joke. If I had called the hotel directly this would never have happened. So for the convenience and $20 fee that comes with using this service... I get screwed. Will avoid this service like the plague. It is inflexible. What a horrible service.
Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
First, they charge a booking fee of US$14.99 and if you have any issue then you should expect a very bad service.
This is was the first time I used this site and this will definitely be the last.
What absolute robbery! This company is awful. They do not clearly disclose the $19.99 service fee they charge. They are betting you won't read the fine print and they stick you with the unnecessary charge. They are criminals. Please don't let them steal your hard earned money!
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
