Scam! BEWARE!

Horrible Horrible... Somehow, while booking directly from the hotel site- I got transferred to reservations.com-- not only they overcharged me, and auto selected non-refunbale fare ( which I would have never done knowingly), they messed up the room selection and the email confirmation had errors... as well as notifying that almost $2000. 00 are non-refundable. I immediately started calling them and the reps from Philippines barely speak any English-- It was very displeasing speaking with them to say the least... The hotel reservation manager from the actual hotel- told them that the hotel is ok with refund-- but they still have not refunded me. I will prob be taking them to court if I don't get a refund... Their main office is in Florida... Beware

I accidentally booked my motel thinking it was the motels web site I put in the wrong date of arrival, I called customer service within 10 minutes they refused to refund my money. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The charges are going to be reversed. This company is a total ripoff stay away and run as fast as you can, if 0 stars was an option that's what I would give them.

I made a reservation thru them, and got a confirmation. Bought event tickets, transportation, spent a lot of money. Only to find out the hotel had been booked solid for months. By that point the nearest hotels were many miles from my destination.

I am STILL fighting with them for a refund. They apparently charged my card after I told them there were no rooms. They kept assuring me that the reservation would show up in the hotel computer shortly. Of course, no rooms. Still havent' refunded me - and they are trying to tell me their "service" fee is non-refundable. This is how they make money - overbooking/selling non-existent rooms, then ripping people off for the service fee. I'm telling everyone to stay away from them.

Pop-up on Marriott Hotels webpage.
I accidentally booked through them thinking I was booking through Marriott. Called within 10 minutes of making the reservation to cancel. 2 weeks later still no refund. $3,150 still sitting in their account. What a shame they have to do this to get customers. Will make sure everyone I know doesn't use this serviceever.

I needed an emergency hotel room on the night of 12/30/23, after helping my sister clean up after a flood.
I did not want to drive the 2.5 hours tired and sleepy. I booked the hotel 9.53 PM. They booked me a hotel room at a Super 8. Knowing I would be getting into the room late I requested a late arrival.
When I arrived at the Super 8 at 4:12 am Sunday morning very tired, the Hotel was closed.
So I was forced to find a other hotel. They did not want to refund my room
This is a awful service.

Incredibly misleading.
The website suggested that by calling the rates would be better.
The operator did give me a better rate and insisted that the rate 'included tax' unfortunately when I looked at my bank statement this was incorrect. I was also never made aware that a $15 fee would also be charged for using the service. It now turns out that this 'better' rate was in fact worse!
I have now called and emailed numerous times to try and resolve this matter (I expect a refund of the difference between rates and the booking fee) however nobody has returned my correspondence.
Do NOT use reservations.com

Warning these people are scammers set reservations go to the motel well tell her no information try to call they took $200 off my credit card couldn't retrieve it back very nasty people on the other end how to dispute with my credit card company and won if you're thinking about using this company don't they will screw you over then they ended up charging me $100 more than what the hotel was thank God the person at the hotel helped us out if you think you're saving just called a hotel disease people will screw you over thanking you're going to save money

Was in Newark Ohio & wanted a reservation with the Hilton for one night. Used Google on my phone. This Scam site was pulled up as if it was a reservation line belonging to the hotel. I've since called the number back & their recording says something like "Welcome to reservations" suggesting it IS the reservation line for the hotel. I was NEVER told I was speaking to a third party provider. The price quoted was higher than I remembered seeing previously on my pc, but I needed the room so I agreed. Did not realize I was dealing with a scam. I now have multiple charges on my card, plus the charge from this rip off company was $50 higher than the room should have been. I don't usually fall for scams, but I didn't expect Google to provide a listing that deceptively was at the top of the page with the other listings by Hilton. RUN, don't walk, away from this company. It should not be legal.

My husband inadvertently booked a hotel stay through them-same story as others, he thought he was on the actual hotel site. The day before the trip, they sent an email that the reservation was cancelled. Since we hadn't cancelled it, he called the hotel directly, and I called them. After being put on hold multiple times, I was told nothing could be done. Something can; I'm reporting them to the Attorney General's office for theft by deception, and getting together what is needed for a class action lawsuit. Not a good idea to screw over a lawyer.

Hidden prices, inaccurate receipts (the price charged does not equal the price stated on the receipt... is this even legal?!?), hidden currency, a purposefully deceitful website (prices are not quoted accurately, currency is not clearly stated), and nonexistent customer service. This is a fraudulent website that should be shut down (I cancelled my credit card after using it on their site).

For all you Canadians out there, the website advertises Canadian hotels however the prices are listed in USD (this is not clearly stated on the website)... and there ARE hidden fees. BEWARE!

Also, the Reservations.com website adds the name of the hotel you're searching for in google to the front of their website domain. For example, if you search for 'Best Western', their website will appear as 'bestwestern.reservations.com'. Deceitful and sneaky... don't get caught in the same trap I did. Book direct or with a legitimate website and always verify your currency.

Can I give less than 1 star? Looking over the reviews here, this seems like a broken record but Reservations.com really scams the customer with fees. There is a $15 non-refundable fee simply for reserving a hotel room online through their website - other sites DON'T do this. Beyond the $15 fee, my hotel bill fees totaled more than what I would have paid if I had simply walked into the hotel directly to pay for a room - this was confirmed by the on duty employee. I'm still not clear on what taxes and fees were applied. Awful. Never again.

I thought I was on the hotel website. Ended up on Reservations.com. Reserved a room then realized I needed a first floor room. Called back. They only had a handicap accessible room available. Told them to cancel reservations. Called hotel and they couldn't do anything for me... only thru Reservations.com. They had a reservation for me, but no request for ground floor room. Think they have robots answering phones who say "Can't help you. Can't cancel. Called my credit card company to dispute charges for room plus a $19.99 fee. I have made many reservations over the years and this company is running a scam! If you see it online keep away!

$150 more per night for my hotel room.

I searched for the hotel near the riverwalk through google maps and clicked on what I THOUGHT was the direct hotel link. Turns out I clicked on the reservations dot com website by accident and ended up paying about $150 more than booking directly through the Omni website. $45 "service fee" on top of everything too. I hope this site goes out of business, their customer service is garbage as well (seems like an India based call center). Book directly through hotel websites and avoid this website.

I called 2 days ago, they said they had a room available in Orlando, as we are trying to get away from the hurricane. I had to pay in full, over $500. Non refundable. Got there, no room. We have a confirmation number which is useless. I am so sick to my stomach

Booked (mistakenly thinking I was booking directly with the hotel) and NO CANCELLATION! Online is says I can cancel, subject *******@14.99 non-refundable fee. But when calling, they tell me "you booked a non-refundable room and the full amount has been charged to your card and will not be refunded. I had no idea I was booking a non-refundable room and there was nothing in the booking process that said it was non-refundable. Avoid these people. Worthless if your plans change and of no help when calling them for assistance.

I don't know how booking sites usually work but I tried Reservations.com and I'm pretty happy with my experience. After I booked my chosen hotel, I got my booking confirmation right away and right then and there I knew this site was to be trusted. I'll book here again in the near future.

Deplorable stay
October 31, 2018

The staff was not at all friendly, no one ever greeted us any time we entered the hotel. The room was never cleaned or fresh towels brought in on our third day even after talking to the front desk personnel. The heating/cooling equipment was so noisy we couldn't hear the sound from the TV. I have never experienced such a terrible hotel stay during my many years of work or pleasure travel. Never again.

Hidden fees scam!

I am a very seasoned traveller and have never encountered the likes of this! I found 2 charges for $14.99 on my credit card. I phoned an 800 number to see if I could find out what company I had booked with who stuck in this charge. When I book a car, flight, hotel, the charges are always in the grand total! These people are like thieves that sneak in your reservation and rob you. My booking never sent me an email so I don't know which site to blame. I book so many hotels it never occured to chck for hidden fees. Never again will I use a site that is affiliated with these crooks.

Worst company ever! Tried booking my room on the actual Casino Website, it then redirected me to these crooks!
My room went from 269 up over 500.00! Tried cancelling due to Covid-19 with no help or resolution!
I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! It has taken 3 weeks so far since I have attempted to cancel the reservation, and all i get is its under review thank you for your patience! What crooks

I booked a room in Calgary for monday night. My plans changed and wanted to book for the Friday instead. Was told it was non refundable. So had to pay for 2 nights for 1 night. Will NEVER use reservations.com again!
