The price they show is not the price you paying believe that and they will have the dumbest excuse for why you just paid all that money do not believe the prices you see on there anyting yes I pay a charge a fee 1499 but what about that other $175 that y'all took from me scammers
I booked through them, however, I realized that I had to make some changes to my trip so I had to cancel, which was only a day after I had booked so definitely still within the time frame for no charges and they STILL charged by credit card. When I called to get this resolved the lady was not empathetic and denied it. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up on me. Not happy and I do not recommend this company at all.
We just filed a complaint with the BBB regarding our hotel reservation through reservations.com NOT being refunded. Obviously, we could not travel, not to mention the hotel was CLOSED. Over 20 emails have been sent and now they are just ignoring us. NEVER EVER use this site to book anything.
Initially I've called to make a reservation. I gave all my information and the guy told me that BOTH of my card was declined. Since he told me that I've decided to go back home and not stay on whatever hotel.
Once the guy confirmed that no reservations was made I hung up.
3 days later I check my account and many charges was made on my card.
I've called the RESERVATIONS.com and NO ONE could find ANY RESERVATIONS with my NAME, PHONE NUMBER or EMAIL.
I will make sure to write the same review on every single website possible so people don't have to go thru this!
Read everybody's bad review and that's mine. Thought i was booking straight thru daysinn didn't realize it was 3rd party. They doubled one of my rooms instead off $133 it was $192. Plus $14 for something. Got there one of my rooms hadn't been paid for so had to pay daysinn for the room again which daysinn reimbursed me after me and the people at daysinn were on the phone for 3 hours trying to get this straightened out. The owner was nice enough to come from home to try And fix this. And reservations were connected with expedia, but they wouldn't help resolve this either. They lied about the price of the room. Maybe i cant get my money back. But i hope this helps someone else. But probably not. Because they somehow have their number fixed where you think you are calling straight to daysinn. Wish someone can stop this
My boss went online to make a hotel reservation. He didn't realize that he was being directed to reservations.com and thought instead he was booking directly with the hotel. It wasn't until we received the credit card statement and I questioned him on the $20 fee for reservations.com and asked why he spent so much money on the hotel room that he realized he was hijacked to a different website.
The next time he booked the same hotel room, he walked into the hotel and made the reservation in person. No only did he not pay the ridiculous $20 charge for this 3rd party company, he saved $75 on the room. What would be the purpose of a website like this if you pay an additional $95 for the same room? And quite frankly NO ONE likes to be mislead! If you were on the up and up, you would have no reason to mislead...
We made a one night reservation at the inn in Boyonton beach FL wirh Reservations.com their booking agent.
The place had BUGS! Wre were only in the room a few minutes and left! We were told the hotel would not put forward the charge and would fix it when the manager returned so we would not be charged.
They Lied!
When we got our credit card statement, there was the charge! Reservations.com was called and a barely english speaking person in a noisy room was of little help! DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I thought I was on the hotel website. The big header was the name and address of the hotel. They made the whole page look like the hotel's website.
Now it's the coronavirus panic, my trip has been cancelled, the hotel itself is offering full refunds, but because I ended up booking through Reservation.com I can't access the refund. So I can't use the hotel room, and this company is keeping my money. Given the coronavirus situation, not being able to access my refund feels like thievery. Not good. There should be a law that prevents this sort of deception ( the faking they're the hotel website). Deliberate deception.
Today I used online service and it wasn't until I got the confirmation email that I realized I had booked that wrong hotel. I was trying to take one of my furkids with me to pick up one if my nonfurkuds.
I called and I spoke with the nicest gentleman, didn't quite get his name I believe it started with an S.He called the hotel got my reservation moved to the other hotel without any penalties so all I was out was the difference in price of the rooms. I appreciate Customer Service representatives who truly care about the people on the other line. Just so you know you made me a believer for life.
Thanks so much for your kindness. A little kindness goes a long way.
Horrible people with horrible customer service. UNBELIEVABLE. Made a reservation for a Quality Inn on the Quality Inn site, but was "switched" to this site. Tried to cancel after an accident since we couldn't travel. Charged $80 more than reservation cost. Secretly switched the prices! Refused to cancel. People very, very RUDE. Really DOESN'T get any worse than this... STAY AWAY!
Somehow after booking a hotel through Expedia.com and then canceled my reservation. When my meeting was back on I signed in to Expedia to rebook. Yet somehow my reservation was booked through Reservations.com. When I called the actual Hotel directly they said it was reserved through the "Agoda" travel agency.
Summary: Booked on Expedia.com: Told by Hotel it was the Agoda travel agency:, And then I found out it was booked through Reservations.com. THEN When I called American express they gave me another company name that was billing me.
This is a real scam. AVOID.
I WILL NEVER BOOK THROUGH THIS AGAIN! Complete Scam. They say their customer service is their top priority...lies. They are of zero help when you try to call. Spoke to the manager named Paige and she was so rude and not helpful at all. I am going through a rough time with planning my wedding and she provided zero help and said there is nothing she can do. Then proceeded to ask if there was anything else she could help me with...she didn't help me in the first place! RECOMMEND NOT USING!
My husband made a reservation and typed in the wrong date, but caught it right after he made the reservation and wanted to change the day by 1 day... talked to customer service wouldn't budge. Said can't change anything after the reservation was made. It wasn't 5 min. After it was made just needed to change by 1 day. Talked to supervisor she said to bad can't change anything! Will never use again and will tell all my friends not to use them. They suck! Made me pick 1 star... doesn't deserve any!
I thought that I was at the hotel's website. I never received a receipt. The rep said I was being charged for my pets but the hotel never received the pet fees. The rep says the required legalese statements quickly so that the customer doesn't quite grasp it. This company is a complete rip-off. DO NOT USE RESERVATIONS.COM. They are con artists and thieves.
I searched for my hotel and the link that popped-up read sheraton.reservations.com. The part that made this fraudulent is that they are using the name of the hotel in their URL which tricks people to think they are booking with the actual hotel. Once you submit payment, you will notice that youve paid in USD to the wrong company.
Their call centre is in the Philippines and the bulk of their calls are in regards the this misleading scam. BE AWARE!
They made the page appear to be the hotel page. I would never have gone to a thrid party for reservations. I tried to reach out to them 5 minutes after I booked it but of course they said I could not cancel. Ok. I'll live with that I need a hotel but when I called the hotel they said they had no record of my reservation. She said just in case call back later. I called back MUCH later and still not reservation at the hotel had come through and they even asked their support to look for my reservation and NOTHING. I called the company back again and they said it would be 7-10 days for them to research! Well my reservation is in 2 days! I called my credit card company and the transaction was pending but told me to dispute it once it posted. I had to rebook at the hotel and I will dispute.
Made reservations from 11/1/19 to 11/7/19, called to modify. Was told to get hotel approval. Spoke to hotel and got approval and name of agent. Called resrvations.com again, and was told reserrvation is modified, but no refund. They lied and kept my money. Dont ever book with these thieves
We took a mini-vacation to Niagara Falls and booked a room at the Wyndam Hotel. When we arrived we thought it's nice for one night - as we were walking in - there was an old building next door with the roof looking like it was from the 1960's and nothing had been replaced. It looked abandoned. My husband joked with our 11 year old - that's the hotel we are staying in. We checked in, the room wasn't ready, we went and did activities and came back at 11pm and they said you are in the south tower - we followed the directions and the room was in the building that was old, worn down and looking like it was in need of a wrecking ball. There apparently were no other rooms, after argueeing they gave us our money back - not for parking and a $15 reservations.com fee lol we ended up driving home tired and the vacation wrecked. Do not book with them.
Like others, I thought I was on the hotel website. I was charged in USD for a Canadian reveration, called them to change it, they wouldn't. Plus, I find out I was charged $14 US for making my own reservation. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I would have to keep calling the 800 number until I "got an American".
Are you kidding me?
These people are crooks.
I thought I was booking my hotel directly through the hotel as I wanted to give my business to them. I entered all information and instead of being taken to a confirmation page to see all the details of my bookings and giving me the opportunity to share any additional information it processed my payment and immediately charged my credit card not only the booking but a hidden service charge of $20. I immediately called their customer service only to be greeted by a condascending customer service rep who repeatedly told me that what I was saying wasn't true. Unbelievably frustrating. I am still fighting for the whole refund.
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!
Answer: Hello, Thank you for question. Please contact us at support@reservations.com so we can better assist you with this matter. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely Reservations.com Support Team
Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
