NEVER Rent from Bab Al Madeena, it's a mechanic store renting old vehicles.
I was in Dubai in Feb. 2022 and found them online, the salespeople were very good at convincing me, the car I was given was a 2015 Kia Picanto with more than *******. 00 Miles which was fine until I drove it from Dubai to Abu Dhabi this is when the engine started to shut off completely on the freeway where the speed is about 160 km/hour.
Thankfully I didn't get into an accident, I called them and they advised me to visit their store, a young kid looked into it and said it was the fuel pump! He went to another similar car uninstalled the old pump and reinstalled it on the one I have, (using a hammer and screwdriver), then said I should be ok, the same problem happened again this is when I threatened them to call the Dubai police so they replaced the Kia with a Mitsubishi Mirage little better than the Kia.
At the end of the rental period, I asked to refund my $400 deposit and this is another nightmare they started to say we have to see if you have tickets and wait for 21 business days, which was OK then after 37 days they asked for my bank account, I said please refund to the same credit card and they refused.
I have a one-speed ticket of $100 but they refunded me $245 without justifying the difference, only said the difference is admin fees.
In general, they are all rude mechanics and don't know anything about customer service
Each time I contact them to ask a question, they say please remind us in a few days.

I know this is a long review but it will give you an idea about this awful company. One Star Is Way Too Much! I have honestly never seen such bad service in UAE and I have been here for over 15 years. I made the mistake to rent because this was the best price I found, but I deeply regretted it after. Because of the Expo car rental prices have grown substantially but that is a fluctuating situation as often things are here. Car rental companies haven't really grasped that and some are using this as an excuse to treat customers bad or turn them away. This is definitely the case with MOOSA RENT A CAR or BAB AL MADEENA CAR RENTAL. Their very dodgy offices (I saw 2) look like downtown Beirut, where 5 or 6 people are cramped up in tiny closet spaces, no one wares masks and a flux of at least 20 people are entering and exiting this "closet" at any given time, unaware new customers are waiting in corners and existing ones are constantly screaming furiously because of extra charges and what is happening to them after dealing with this company.
I dealt with them through watsapp only at first, and after being promised a delivery in 2 hrs I ended up waiting 6 and no one answered the phone when I tried calling. In the end I ended up receiving a car that looked like someone was sick in. I uploaded some photos, and when I said I don't want it, I was promised an exchange the next day. Of course that did not happen so I drove somewhere close to Al Ain as instructed via watsapp where I was told they don't have anything and "this car is very good, a customer just saw it and he wants it"
Obviously he only saw the car on the outside I replied. After an hour debate I managed to get something moderately better but still dirty inside.
I had an emergency so had to return the car 10 days before the term. I was told I will not get a refund and 2 months later, I am still waiting for half of my deposit back and had to file a complaint with the consumer protection department. Don't make the same mistake I made. Just pay a little extra somewhere else and save yourself a big headache.
This agency, aside of the company site which looks professional, this is scam and they are thieves! Do not expect seamless service, transparent contractual terms and refund of deposit!
This is the worst company ever to been give a License, they have to be closed down immediately for the sake of all people who wish to rent a car, do not go to pinnacle building in Al Barsha, stay away from Bab Al Madeena. They are criminals that need to be brought to justice, They owe me a lot of money and place fines on me for and changed the contract without informing me.
I have been renting cars in UAE for long time on behalf of my company, this is the worst experience that I have ever had in my career, they don't even deserve 1 star rating. They will eat security deposit with no ethics or no respect to some others hard work.
Massive scammers, do not use this company, i am surprised they are not closed down and how they are getting away with this is beyond me.
Did not return my deposit and made up nonsense on why they are not returning, i paid over 900 aed for a car i rented for 4 days.
The cars are also very old and in terrible condition.
Lets hope they get shut down and put in prison for the money they have looted from everyone,
They are professional theives and frauds, they play aroung with different ways to charge you extra charges, they impose false charges, extra charges, admin charges, xyz charges, bull$#*! charges for nothing. They will delay to return back your security as much as possible try to cut money out of it for nothing.
Donot get trap in their low perday rates.
You will always regret why you rented a car from them.

POOR and the WORST
Read before you rent:
So very disappointed with their service and especially the way their staff interact, they have no clue who you are once they hand over the vehicle to you and literally have to beg them for further service to be done, they initially give you one information and later it would be the opposite and they would deny the fact they actually told you something like that.
They loot money officially by kicking in the stomach of the customers which would be a surprise to you once you've handed over the vehicle, claiming irrelevant charges for the service mentioned in their terms and conditions.
The length of my review is because of the frustrations that I've gone through.
If you still want rent with them read the following,
1. Check the vehicle very well before receiving it, check the fuel tank capacity and do not forget to take a copy of the papers that you sign and READ THEM,
2. Pay the deposit by cash if not they will deduct AED 30 on your deposit,
3. Try avoiding fines, note that if you do you'll be charged AED 150 extra, (Received a parking ticket and ended up paying AED 280)
4. Pay your dues before time, if not they are going to charge you three times your daily rent, and do not forget to take a receipt every time you pay,
5. Salik from them cost AED 6 per trip which I feel is too much,
6. The important part comes while returning, make sure that you, fill the tank same as when you had received failing to do so will cost you minimum of AED 50 and can go upto AED 200 where full tank would cost you around AED 60. Wash the car in Enoc/epco stations and produce them with the bill copy (which has to be done between 24 hrs before returning the car) failing which you'll be charged AED 200 from your deposit.
7. Click as many pictures of you he car if not they would blame you for the damages which weren't done by you, resulting in deduction of your deposit.
8. Finally for the deposit return part. The deposit period in the terms is 15 working days I guess, but they would never pick you call or return once you give the car, I AM DEAD SERIOUS AND IT STARTED TO GET ON MY NERVES, I might not even be surprised if they ask, did you rent a vehicle from them such is their attitude. For me it took about TWO MONTHS for them to transfer the deducted deposit after pestering them with back to back calls, telling them will go to DED and complain and their account department has no clue about the transactions happened and try to deduct as much as possible, my sincere advice if you face the same issue please go to the police or to the DED.
To conclude, I request you kindly do not take their services and even if you do, read the above so that you'll not be the victim same as many.
I really hope and pray that the Dubai police or DED take strict action against them and their employees to benefit others inorder that they don't loot the hard earned money of individuals.
If you have read this kindly like the comment so that it pops up first and every one can benefit cause I've been a victim and don't want anyone reading this to be one, don't fall for the cheap rental trick where it would cost you more than any premium company.

A BAD EXPERIENCE FROM THIS COMPANY, A LADY FILIPINA NAME VERONICA WAS THE WORSE CALL CENTER AGENT FRM THEIR COMPANY, VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT. I WONDER WHY THEY ARE RUNNING COMPANY, I REGRET RENTING CAR TO THIS COMPANY, LOT OF HIDDEN CHARGES SO YOUR ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT. HOW THEY TALK TO THE CLIENT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. Worst experience ever. Worst customer service, very rude employees, they almost never pick up the phone when you need something from them. And when they do, they are rude and ignorants. And ahhh dont to forget that they will steal your security deposit. They will give you all the lies possible to take part of it if not all your security deposit. So yeah, never again!
They filed a case for 50,000.00 dhs after one year of returning their car, saying they want more money for excess mileage.

Worst of worst. I request Dubai Government or whoever the authority rulling this rental car companies, these companies are making their customer fool and looting them as possible as they can. For Fiber bumper small scratches they are charging 2000AED VAT, for which actual cost is Very very less including vat, ( after replacing entire fiber bumper from showroom with genuine parts)
They are emposing their own contract and rules. Customer should get support to deal with such fruad company.
I personally suggest, before signing contract please go through their contract which is usually in written in very small letters and with so many rules according to their own. They are provided car at low rent and later imposing so many charges. Better to avoid such deals.

Avoid this company as you can. And I will explain you why,
I rent a car from them for a month, first was Maga durty, outside have major accidents, I say OK I was in hurry and i received, Car was 1390 aed per month. Any way on renewing they ask for 1990 aed for a Renault symbol scrab car as condition so I cancel, I give them deposit 1000 aed and they say after 25 working day will refund. This never happened. They give reason of extra km salik and raod violations. On top of this they open CIVIL CASE for a 160 aed wich was not fare any way now this company is asking ******* aed. So my advice to you Don't ever rent car From this company! Bab Al Madeena Rent A Car

What a fraud company, can't believe it's happening in Dubai. Bunch of scammers and cheaters wouldnt reply to you wouldn't return you deposit but I'm a though one as well, I will teach them, I have already contacted AUE police and they will take legal action against them.
Do not rent from here, brutal and extremely dishonest. Won't return your deposit. Manager is a known gangster and thief, employees are trained to cheat customers!
Buyers be ware, for your own sake do not believe all those suspect reviews with 5 stars.
This is a shoddy operation. I have been living in Dubai for 15 years and without a doubt this is the worst business I had the displeasure of dealing with. I returned their sub-standard car exactly as I received it, but it took 6 weeks and a dozen phone calls to get a partial refund of my deposit, at the end they charged more than double their original quote. They used every trick in the book, too many to list here. In my view, any good reviews you see are definitely fake.

I got a car with engine problem, they will not attend the call anytime. I fixed issue spending from my pocket. They didn't pay me the amount even after I submit the bill. Also lot of hidden charges, they completely ate my deposit amount, don't approach these thieves
Answer: Very true! They haven't even returned my deposit. Gave AED 1000 for deposit then they are charged my card again for some fees.
