They filed a case for 50,000.00 dhs after one year of returning their car, saying they want more money for excess mileage.

I just got scammed by this company! They have low rates but a lot of HIDDEN CHARGES! They will charge ADMIN Fees for things that are not necessary and won't return your deposit. They will also try to charge your card again even if you still have a deposit with them.
Avoid this company as you can. And I will explain you why,
I rent a car from them for a month, first was Maga durty, outside have major accidents, I say OK I was in hurry and i received, Car was 1390 aed per month. Any way on renewing they ask for 1990 aed for a Renault symbol scrab car as condition so I cancel, I give them deposit 1000 aed and they say after 25 working day will refund. This never happened. They give reason of extra km salik and raod violations. On top of this they open CIVIL CASE for a 160 aed wich was not fare any way now this company is asking ******* aed. I rented a car for a month for daily rate of 65 AED after using it for a month and paying the daily rates, I have been asked to pay 2400 dhs extra, that means I pay totally 4000 AED for a month for nissan sunny, the reason I have driven extra kms, which they never mentioned or tell us. they just say it is in the contract.
While I gave the car back, they told I have damage in boot and asked me to pay AED 3500. I complaint to Mussafa police, and they took action and fined Bab AL Madeena for AED 150,000. Please go to police immediately as soon as they start cheating you. They are nothing but thief pathans who target your credit card.
1 star is too much for them they are liars and cheaters and fraud, they dont want to give u ur deposit for no clear reason, where is police and dubai municipality of these

Admin girl- very super active over watsapp before renting car. Came girl wont respnd to your msgs or even calls. Landline service line is of no use. They will test your patients and you wont feel like contacting them and you end up wasting money because time is more imporatant thats what you feel. Waste! Dont ever take their services if you have busy routine! Waste of time they are... i was expecting 1500 deposit from them against 1 week services. I paid 323 for a week which i felt best rate in the world. They returned 616 after a month from my security deposit. I dont know why and i dont have patients and time to chase them. Waste waste wate waste!
NEVER Rent from Bab Al Madeena, it's a mechanic store renting old vehicles.
I was in Dubai in Feb. 2022 and found them online, the salespeople were very good at convincing me, the car I was given was a 2015 Kia Picanto with more than *******. 00 Miles which was fine until I drove it from Dubai to Abu Dhabi this is when the engine started to shut off completely on the freeway where the speed is about 160 km/hour.
Thankfully I didn't get into an accident, I called them and they advised me to visit their store, a young kid looked into it and said it was the fuel pump! He went to another similar car uninstalled the old pump and reinstalled it on the one I have, (using a hammer and screwdriver), then said I should be ok, the same problem happened again this is when I threatened them to call the Dubai police so they replaced the Kia with a Mitsubishi Mirage little better than the Kia.
At the end of the rental period, I asked to refund my $400 deposit and this is another nightmare they started to say we have to see if you have tickets and wait for 21 business days, which was OK then after 37 days they asked for my bank account, I said please refund to the same credit card and they refused.
I have a one-speed ticket of $100 but they refunded me $245 without justifying the difference, only said the difference is admin fees.
In general, they are all rude mechanics and don't know anything about customer service
Each time I contact them to ask a question, they say please remind us in a few days.

I rented a car from this company on 14/06/2018 at 11pm and returned the car on 18/06/2018 at 6pm. It has now been more than 2 months since I returned the car and still have not received the AED 1,000 deposit that I had paid originally when I rented the car. They either don't pick up the phone, keep you on hold or simply hang up on your face. If you're lucky enough to actually speak with someone, they will be extremely rude and talk to you as if you're the one that owes them money.
The strategy they basically employ is to have an extremely detailed contract written completely in fine print and the smallest of fonts so that no one would bother to read it. The natural thing to do would be to ask their representatives verbally about any important information that needs to be considered and they keep this information from you on purpose, which is essentially lying to your face, with something completely different mentioned in the actual contract.
They've got absolutely ridiculous clauses mentioned in their contract purely meant as a way to extort additional money from their customers unfairly and unethically. No other rent a car company in the world would have a more ridiculous set of clauses mentioned in a contract.
This company seems to be an expert at scamming their customers and having looked at reviews online, it is clear that they've cheated countless customers in the exact same way.

I know this is a long review but it will give you an idea about this awful company. One Star Is Way Too Much! I have honestly never seen such bad service in UAE and I have been here for over 15 years. I made the mistake to rent because this was the best price I found, but I deeply regretted it after. Because of the Expo car rental prices have grown substantially but that is a fluctuating situation as often things are here. Car rental companies haven't really grasped that and some are using this as an excuse to treat customers bad or turn them away. This is definitely the case with MOOSA RENT A CAR or BAB AL MADEENA CAR RENTAL. Their very dodgy offices (I saw 2) look like downtown Beirut, where 5 or 6 people are cramped up in tiny closet spaces, no one wares masks and a flux of at least 20 people are entering and exiting this "closet" at any given time, unaware new customers are waiting in corners and existing ones are constantly screaming furiously because of extra charges and what is happening to them after dealing with this company.
I dealt with them through watsapp only at first, and after being promised a delivery in 2 hrs I ended up waiting 6 and no one answered the phone when I tried calling. In the end I ended up receiving a car that looked like someone was sick in. I uploaded some photos, and when I said I don't want it, I was promised an exchange the next day. Of course that did not happen so I drove somewhere close to Al Ain as instructed via watsapp where I was told they don't have anything and "this car is very good, a customer just saw it and he wants it"
Obviously he only saw the car on the outside I replied. After an hour debate I managed to get something moderately better but still dirty inside.
I had an emergency so had to return the car 10 days before the term. I was told I will not get a refund and 2 months later, I am still waiting for half of my deposit back and had to file a complaint with the consumer protection department. Don't make the same mistake I made. Just pay a little extra somewhere else and save yourself a big headache.
THIS IS A GROUP OF SCAMMERS, CLEARLY. HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM, AND DONT LOOSE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
1. You need to call to rights costumers and open a case by telephone in (Dubai Economic department) This is the telephone *******555

3. You have to attach the documents that you have, contract, and everything and you send to that link (better if you scan the documents)
4. They will fix in less than 4 days and you get your money back.
Trust me Dubai Economic Department works very well, and fix the problem very quick, this company is a organized group of scammers, thief, rude, disrespectful and shameless liars.

The worst company ever! I have rented a car from them worst mistake of my life! When i wanted to return the car after washing it of course they found a small sctarch on the car and they told me i needed a police report so i went to the police station and got the paper and then they refused to take the car cause it was a temporary report even though the police man said just give them the report and they will know what to do with it. Since this incedent happened on a Wednesday i had to keep the car till Saturday so i paid for 3 days extra and they wanted to charge me more than what they charged me before per day. And even though they said its a scratch i went to te petrol station and they wipped it with a towel turns out it wasnt a scratch it was dirty it wasnt washed properly. When i finally took the car back on Saturday i told them there is no scratch so just take it the guy came and refused to take the car again because there was a tiny other scratch similar to the first one which only needed to get cleaned and polish they considered it damage in the car, so i was fed up and called the police and then they came and made the company take the car back! And they made me pay 2000 dirhams for a scratch that doesnt exist!
They will not return your whole deposit they will tell you there is ADMINISTRATION FEES and TAXES! PLUS WHEN YOU WILL RETURN THE CAR THE EMPLOYEE WILL ASK YOU FOR MONEY 'TIPS '
They have new 2018 model cars at lowest rate in Dubai. Their friendly customer service attitude made my experience wonderful.
Answer: Very true! They haven't even returned my deposit. Gave AED 1000 for deposit then they are charged my card again for some fees.
