REDDIT is ok with online harrassment, bullying and personal attacks on others.
The site should be policed sine it allows others to personally attack others and some of the moderators celebrate the bullying
From the sucky ui too the sucky mods too the fact that I always have trouble posting things or even going to the site or app it takes the prize for one of the most useless sites on the web. Good idea in theory with a really crappy execution.
Ok so I posted a comment on reddit the user was r/Ukraine. I posted screw Ukraine and for that r/Ukraine reported me and reddit muted me from the user and suspended me from using reddit for 6 days. In there message sent to me the said to not contact the user so after my 6 days was up I did contact the user and asked them if I hurt there poor little feelings and I left another simular comment. So because of that reddit has band me from using there site just because I spoke my opinion. Reddit has nudity violence porn and everything else on there site but non of them are band. So I say let's put reddit out of business take them down for good. We should have every right to speak out opinion. Let's destroy reddit.com
Bad moderators delete posts for no reason other than they don't agree with you. Terrible interface a royal pain in the but to use. SOme good info WHEN your post remains undeleted SOMETIMES. Other times no replies even for legit nonspam posts. Another giant that needs to be broken up and thrown to the wind.
There is nothing of value on this site other than the photo catalogs. All other catalogs are almost curated by a group of people. Any disagreement results in immediate downvoting. Which is interesting. If you look at the negative downvoted comments, you will find they are closer to the truth. Its a weird world to step into. Like everyone is robots.
I have difficult relationship with Reddit and Redditors. Some of them have down voted my posts many times. I still try to do my best to get a good karma. Its not easy at all. Advice: you need to read Reddit rules and actually follow them to be not banned. You need to be very active user to get good points and visitors from Reddit on your website. Happy Redditing :)
If you think there are infinite genders and that blowing yourself up in the name of Allah has nothing to do with Islam, this is the site for you. Literally everyone here will agree with you and pat you on the back for your virtue signaling. If you think for yourself and recognize that sometimes the truth isn't all rainbows and flowers, this isn't the place for you.
This site is nothing more than a platform for toxic people, who do nothing but abuse people. The mods are horrible and Reddit support is a joke. The sub-reddits are filled with nothing but hateful snowflakes, abusive jerks, and creepy pedophiles. The support groups are anything but supportive and the advice groups are nothing more than amateurs trying to act important. Avoid this Site like the Plague if you value your sanity.
Don't let your kids on here!
There is one default 'front page' that has the most voted items from a default list of subreddits (subgroups within the main group). It takes a little time to learn how to use, e.g., to select the subreddits you're interested in and eliminate the ones you aren't, otherwise, there will be a lot of material that doesn't interest you. If you want politics, pick some political subreddits. If you want cat videos and cute pictures, choose those. Christians, atheists, Islam, etc. have their own groups as do most countries, cities, etc. There are also different ways to view each subgroup, e.g., most popular, newest, most controversial, best of, etc. Anyone can start a subreddit if they're willing to moderate it, and there are THOUSANDS of them. It takes getting used to but ANYONE can find what interests them. Pay attention to the posts you like as they'll tell you what subgroup they came from and you can subscribe to it, likewise unsubscribe to the ones you don't.
I actually thought I found a good site, until I disagreed with the most obvious thing to disagree with. Then some little crybaby reported me and I got banned. Did they look at what the crybaby said? Nope they agreed with the crybaby. What a bull$#*! site
This site is so bias. Even the subreddits that have nothing to do with politics are full of anti-Trump rhetoric for absolutely no reason. And they ban, delete, and downvote your post/comments if you disagree with them. The site is full of what is obviously high school age children, and they are all bullies. This site is so toxic. I deleted the app.
Posting a video un Reddit under Street Fights is terrible! You have a lot of haters on their that don't want to give your website a chance, and will downvote you everytime you post. I'm a promoter for a few major online companies and yes... I do follow the guidelines! These redditors will downvote you, but these are the same people who will go on the websites, watch the videos, copy the videos, add their watemark to it... go back on reddit add it and downvote us. We are an legit company with anywhere between 50,000 to 200,000 visitors a day. Reddit should at least put a banned or delete button on pages so that you have the option to delete haters!
The site is extremely slow. See for yourself. You can test it on GTMatrix https://gtmetrix.com/ it is given an F(22%) for page speed and an E(58%) for YSlow. YSlow is the degree of best practises used to develop the site. This is really terrible. Not to mention the UI is deeply flawed. For crying in the mud, reddit could be better built by 10th graders. This translates into poor performance and a deep security risk. It is really a wonder considering what's out there anyone still uses reddit. It's getting a single star because this review can't be posted without a star.
Reddit allows critical and hateful comments which support left and far left political positions. Any comments critical of these left-leaning comments are censored, and commenters are banned. The site is selecting comments and commenters in support of a leftist echo chamber. Section 230 violations in evidence everywhere.
I use it a lot but it allows a lot of hate subreddits and posts, especially subs like the_donald. The search function is bad, you need to type exactly what you are looking for or won't get any results. Also, I was once banned a while ago for making 1 joke comments about star wars and suggested Han Solo would die in the movie and was perma banned on that account for "spamming reddit".
Reddit is filled with SJWs who constantly defend radical feminism, LGBTQ+ hypocrisy on straight people and Christians, annoying strict moderators, AND people who think they're smart and write out huge groups of text about something they could just give a clear answer to. Quora is also similar to this. Also, the gore needs to be stopped! I'm tired of seeing dead bloated decomposing bodies on reddit.
I was an upstanding member of reddit for many years, albeit I only used it on occassion. However, that all changed when the BigBrother forum on reddit discovered I was a black man. When I tried to confront racism on the show and in the forum the racist members swarmed downvoting me. Then, the moderator, who I later discovered is also a known racist, suspended me from the forum for a few days.
I then complained (in a nice intelligent manner) to the site itself for the racist abuse I had received and within 2 minutes of sending that report the site suspended my account altogether.
Reddit is the last great stronghold for racism. I've since discovered it is pervasive throughout the site and they do whatever they can to stamp out minorities and push a white supremacist narrative. I am greatly saddened by this and don't know if I can continue living knowing there is such great racism in the world.
I was permanently suspended while I hadn't been on reddit in months and I didn't even get on it but 2 or 3 times when I created it. I only posted pics of my Galaxy Fold 2, my Spigen case for it, screen protectors, and my Galaxy Buds Pro when they came out. I got off and got back on months later my account permanently suspended like wtf? It's all good though the app SUCKS anyways. Just doing a review because that was f'd up!
Redit send me post timberwolf, looks like sex woman, then transfer to Eton Tweeter which show ' f your UK,US mother, blocked tweet. Then, a group comment bad language even after late night 3.30 am. It looks like its (trick by professional post story writer.) It 's what they want- complain bad language. Well, Its reddit send Eton Tweeter blocked tweet. I don't know why they complain me bad languagebut not the other side.
I spasm it but redit keep send post to me. I don't know how can they send spasm post. So, redit must join professional post story writing. Join Tweeter (control media).
Bad language depends on what they really mean. Even US President will say bad language in front of public. Is that so serious. Only designed bad language will attack people. Other just temporary annoy people. Eg. Hong Kong government swear, it will like speak to you. HK government can pop up your mother in mind incest love making. They notify United Nation that HK government withdraw from Internation torture association so they don't need follow rules. But HK police still judge by UN as sex offender organization.
There is a problem of social media that professional post story writter will mix in change people idea.
Loved Reddit for the pictures of cats, diy projects, stolen art (people will repost pictures and claim they made it, never giving credit to the actual artists) and other entertaining things. If you have children be aware! This site has such easy access to borderline child pornography and other smut/horrible things like mutilation and animal abuses you don't want your kids stumbling upon. I love the content but user beware the comment sections on EVERY subreddit is a toxic waste ground. You will leave the most innocent of comment (example: this cat picture is adorable!) and come back to doxxing threats and horrible things slewn your way. Go for the content just keep clear of commenting unless you intend to join the trolls.
Answer: Absolutely cancer. Unless you're an NPC without a brain of your own.
Answer: Use sitejabber, much better. Since they don't make you jump through hoops to post a review and they don't censor negative reviews. TONS of bad sites online. TONS of corrupt sites. Clean up the internet. Break up these monopolistic companies.
Answer: Don't trust reviews from reddit because the site is censored to get rid of negative reviews. Censored by corrupt moderators and admins.
