I am often skeptical of ordering clothing online. I decided to try out PromGirl for my daughter's dress and would recommend it to anyone looking for special occasion dresses. The dress was beautiful and nothing about it was cheap on quality. Though we did measure prior to ordering, we found the original size ordered was still a bit too small. I contacted PromGirl the next day and had a shipping label in my email within minutes and shipped back the dress. Once UPS picked up the returning item, PromGirl Shipped the new item. Everything was quick and easy. I would not hesitate to order from them again.
When I was on the live chat and needed help, the customer service agents seemed to not want to deal with me. I was being an average customer, very respectful, all I needed was help finding a dress. When I said I may need some more help the response was, "Wonderful."
The dress arrived on expected timeline. The quality is good and the dress fit my daughter perfectly. She is very happy and excited for her Homecoming.
Meh, didn't really fit the way we wanted it to. Unfortunately we'll have to send back. Stretched in the wrong places. A bit disappointing since she is only a size 3.

The standard return policy for special occasion dresses is "no returns," but we want to ensure you have your special dress for your event so we accept returns for a refund less the 10% restocking fee or a full store credit. Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, we do ask that you contact us within 7 days to receive the return authorization number. Customers then have an additional 5 days to have it postmarked but it does not have to arrive back to us in the 5 days. Please see our full policy located on our "Returns" page. Second year my daughter has ordered from this company. After last year's debacle, I swore we would never use them again. Well of course, this year, she found a dress that we paid two day shipping for to have it in time. Guess what?! Not coming in time. Apparently, two day shipping doesn't really mean anything! This company takes advantage of young girls.
Unfortunately items marked as “Due to Ship” with a provided date would not be able to ship out until the date listed. The shipping time selected would not start until the dress is shipped and we must rely on the designer for the ship date. Your dress stated "Due to Ship: Oct 6,2017" on the dress page, during the checkout, and in the order confirmation. Not only are the dresses wrongly sized, they are also overpriced and of horrible quality. If you hope to return any dress be ready to go through hell and back to get the job done. Terrible experience.

I got store credit instead of even exchange. Feel I should have gotten my money back and not store credit. Sizes definitely run small.

This was the cutest dress ever! I had an unbelievably amount of compliments on this dress. I was told by a teacher it was the BEST Homecoming dress she'd ever seen!
This was the first purchase we've made from promgirl.com. The dress fit my daughter perfectly and she looked gorgeous in it. She got many compliments on it. Ordering was easy; my daughter (she's 13) measured herself and told me which size she needed. I ordered it late on a Tuesday evening, and received it on Friday. Much easier and less time consuming than going out from store to store. Great deal and value! Oh, just FYI, the dress is all white with a nude lining on top.
I have ordered from here before and I enjoyed it. But this time it was different. I always put my event date way before the actual date and the shipping was fine, but the quality of the dress isn't the best. It's scratchy and not very comfortable as my first dress was. And the sizing wasn't great either. And my dress came dirty and with strings coming out

My dress wasn't as nice as it was supposed to be, nor did it fit according to the size chart. I was (supposedly) in between an 8 and 10, and I went down even though you're supposed to go up, and it was still huge. Never again ordering a dress offline.

You must consider your body type and the style of the dress. The chart will recommend a size to accommodate the largest measurement but ultimately the sizing is up to you! I bought 2 dresses for homecoming. I ordered a size up since I was unaware of how it would fit. I got a large, normally Im a medium or small in just about everything. The first dress I ordered didnt fit A LARGE so I sent it back. I bought another dress, the same size and it fit the first time I put it on THE NIGHT OF THE DANCE I put the dress on and the zipper broke. Completely ruined my night, incredibly disappointed. Never buying from promgirl again.

This was our first time using Promgirl. The items were shipped immediately and received earlier than scheduled. The dresses were packed so nicely. It was such a treat to open the box and find such attention to detail in the packing and personalized thank you. We did return the first box for a different size. No problems with returning or shipping back and the next dress shipped immediately as well. Same quality and attention to detail. We love the dress. We will definitely order again from Promgirl.
Side note: I read reviews before ordering and was hesitant due to return policy and cost however it is worth it after seeing the quality and care of the products taken in shipping. With fine beadwork on the dresses the extra care taken is appreciated!
Horrible. They lure you in with fun ads and pretty images. Dresses are TINY and there is an $8return fee AND a 10 percent restock fee. Staff are rude
