I'd give it 0 stars if there was one! I've had several of these cards( my husband keeps buying them even after I tell him get anything else) nothing but problems when I go to activate it online. Never been able to activate online there's ALWAYS a problem! Don't waste your time or money! Get anything else!

Customer service is horrible! Fraud department is out-sourced and NO ONE will call back.
I provided all the documentation they requested at least 7 times and each time it wasn't legible. You have to fax information, they don't accept emails, which are much clearer. They wanted proof of purchase, I sent digital printout from store where the card purchased and it is not " acceptable" REALLY!. Someone in California named Aaron ( found this out by accident) enjoyed my $500.00 with an online purchase. Do not buy these cards. If you do, register it in store before leaving, so if there is a problem, they can solve it while you are there. On a scale of 1-10, this company rates a minus 10. Fraudulent and deceptive. Stay away from them!

My Daughter got a gift card which she took on a solo trip with Friends. She tried activating it on their website and it failed. She asked me to contact this company and research why. She was 3000 miles away from home. I called the number on the back of the card three times and each time they told me we'll transfer you to the IVR to activate due to website problems. Each time I was put back in the queue to speak to the same group I called. The last person was this sarcastic lady who kept babbling about customer support and telling me I would have to send in personal identification info in order to activate the card. I kid you not. I told her that isn't going to happen and that I just wanted to be transferred to the IVR or given the direct number (to activate the card). I expressed to her my Daughter needed the money since she was on a trip. She kept on putting me on hold, continued with the customer service babble and kept on telling me I would have to send in personal Identification in order to get the card activated. We argued some and then she just hung up. I worked for several years in the banking industry (electronic funds) and never in my dealing would allow such rudeness and on top of it all such a lack of compassion for someone dealing with a cash problem with a teenager who was out of town. These cards are issued by US Bank. This customer service I experienced is a direct reflection of the lack of standards/best practices large financial organizations, such as US Bank, imposes on the consumers these days. I will second guess giving a Us Bank prepaid card to a family member or friend given this experience. It just wasn't necessary. Avoid.

I purchased two Visa gift/debit cards by prepaidgiftcards.com for $300 & $ 50 on Sunday 06/23/2019 at a local grocer. I immediately began experiencing issues with the cards and called their customer service telephone number printed on the card to assist with navigating through the challenges. Although the funds was on the card, some of the issues I've had are: 1) DECLINED airline ticket purchase of $ 250; 2) DECLINED UBER transportation; 3) DECLINED restaurant charge of $ 8.00; 4) DECLINED gas station charge upfront. Some of the excuses given were: It takes an hour after registering your card for your card to become active; some airlines charge a usage/hold fee of 20% in addition to the purchase price; you've entered an incorrect pin code multiple times so your card is locked for 24 hrs (mind you, I only input the 3-digit code printed on the rear of the card just as it is displayed). They refused to do anything about my card, but initially advised me that they could send me a check in the mail as a refund (which was denied by 4 other customer service representatives). I was successful in using the card only once, I believe, for an $ 18.00 online meal purchase. Meanwhile, their system reflects that I have at least $ 250.00+ on the card, but I can't use the card. This was a complete waste of time, theft of my resources, inconveniencing and quite embarrassing, to say the least. I reviewed their ratings online later and discovered dozens of similar complaints like mine and that this company has the worst rating I've ever read. Please save yourself the trouble and don't patronize them at all. It will be one of your greatest mistakes ever. Please believe.

Received a card for my birthday, and went to use it two days after receiving it to find that it does not work and it's been declined. Checked this terrible website, and lo and behold they can't actually locate the card. Contact card services, who proceeds to ask me who registered a gift card. A gift card. A GIFT CARD. So I'm now left with a card that won't work, a $#*! website that won't let me access my information, and customer service who won't let me access my money. Terrible business and the absolute least helpful customer service you will ever see

I was given 4 x $500 as my birthday gift. Two out of 4 were registered and used in another state before I open the wrapper. I called customer service 10 or more times, talked to different people and supervisors. I got no help! Somebody supposed to call me back twice, but I never heard from anybody. This is the worst I ever experienced.

Horrible Service.
June 16, 2019

I honestly couldn't care less, but they pissed me off to lock my card and ask me to 'mail' something too them when I don't even know how too. My card was auto-charged by some unknown company and I didn't know what to do, I put out a dispute too paypal but them just declining it the next day, I got this money for passing 8th grade and now going to highschool, but now is wasted due too me asking for support, and them locking my account. I simply asked if they could do anything and they just locked it and said sure. Also I should mention it took me an hour just to talk too the first person, then being put on hold for a second time for another 10 minutes, and then them saying hold on for another 20 minutes. They wasted 2 hours of my life just to end the call and lock my account and rip me of my money. Now I could get my parents to figure out how to do this, but they wouldn't understand and basically hate me. I do not recommend this service, and to find someone else to pay for a giftcard.

Tried the customer service. They asked us to fax info 4 different times b/c "they never got it". I ended up mailing all of the necessary information. They said they did not get it again (although on one call they did say they got it and would call me back. Never did).
Today I had to call 3 times (80min). Twice I got hung up on when I thought it was going somewhere. The last call, they said they could not help me without the info I tried to send via fax/mail. I asked her to repeat my name, she could not. I asked her to repeat my account info, she could not. Long story short, she could not have been looking into anything for me if she didn't even have that info in front of her. This was the "supervisor"!
To top it off, they cleared the remaining balance on the card. Unable to use the $60 that was left from the original $100.

I received two $25 cards as a gift. Feeling great about myself, I registered the card online. The website seemed easy to use, but it never told me "Activated" or "Success". I tried using it on Amazon. Unfortunately, I couldn't easily find a way to partial pay. Still feeling good, I went to a grocery store where I saw a homeless man. I ended up giving him one thinking I was paying it forward. It was declined at the grocery store. I was frustrated and the clerk told me it may be an issue with the registration. I went to a gas station where I tried to make a gas purchase for exactly $25. The purchase was declined again. I tried to go back to the registration site and it wouldn't let me in with the exact same information I typed the day before. A call to customer service got me an "I understand" but no progress and no resolution.

The giver is out $50, I unintentionally punked a homeless man, and my good feelings have been replaced with anger.

I bought a $25 gift card for my son. He used it last month with no problem. I let him use the remaining $15 balance and the card was declined, the website would accept my card info and I call the *******9536 phone number and the hung up after having me on hold for 20 minutes. Total scam do not buy from them. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased!

So my kids received these cards for the Christmas present. Went online and activated them. Used them on Amazon they bounced. Tried going online to see why and I was locked out. Called the phone number and hold forever. Finally spoke to a person after being on hold for over an hour. She said she would activate. We will see what happens.

Don't ever purchase
January 7, 2019

I bought one of these for my friend and one for myself. Both had $20 on them. Mine worked for a little bit, but then I wasn't able to sign into my previously activated account. My friend spent $10 and when he went to make another $10 purchase, it was declined. He checked his account and the other $10 was randomly deducted from his account with no signs of someone having the card info. No logs or anything.

Got two gift cards. One, completely fine for a bit, made several transactions online. Then I couldn't log in. "Okay," I thought. "I'll just use the other one." Can't even activate that one.

The Worst
December 27, 2018

Tried to receive my money back from merchant, and was never told al the information needed for refund. Went from 10 days to 120 days. I suggest you never make any attempts to use this Service. The do not Care and The Reps are not trained well to responded to customer questions when trying to get a Refund.

THEY SUCK... NEVER AGAIN
