This is BY FAR the WORST prepaid card ever. I will never use or give one for a gift again. The story starts with I recently lost moved and lost my ID. I purchased 1x card for $100 ony to find out it cost me 10% just to use it! Bad enough but it go progressively WORSE. I had a bit of time figuring out how to use it with my PayPal to get the money over to my account to send to my kid. After sending the money to her paypal, we discovered she couldn't access it. Ok, so she refunded it back to my card. PayPal immediately refunded the money to the card but I couldn't see it on the card. I call the gift card company and was told, they keep the money for 15 days even though it had been fully refunded. These guys are SWINDLERS. Find another way because these guys just take 10% money for NOTHING and don't like to give it back when it's due so they can collect interest for 15 days. Disgusting, to put people through that kind of hasle unnecessarily just to get a few more pennies. They should be run out of business, jailed and exiled!

I bought a triple pack that has 3 cards each with a $15 balance. Registered 1 of them but now I can't login to activate the other 2. Not worth the money.

Bull$#*!. If there's an issue with the site, then take it down for maintenance and put up a page saying why. Jesus $#*!ing christ. It had better work within the next two days.

Update: Site was back up when I got home last night and let me do my card. But tonight... once again. IT IS DOWN. Fix your site. NOW!

This card is a ripoff

It won't let you use the card unless the item is at the amount of the card or less. It is trash; don't give this as a gift card, give dirt from your lawn at list they get something. Warn all of your friends that this card as Garbage; litter; filthy trash... Send this card as people you dislike, it deserves them. I wish it could be possible to give the overall rating 1/2 or less.

Web site useless, customer service no help and tells you anything to get you off the phone. ------ Received a card, used it online, there was a glitch, the card was charged, but the merchant didn't process and does not show the charge on their end, said just send us the transaction info and they will fix it or refund, But cannot get on Prepaidgiftbalance.com to screen shot the transaction. Try to log in and at the end of the process says cannot process request (logging in) call # on card, ---- You call the #, explain tried for two days, they say not down all 2 days intermittent ( I guess only every time I tried) won't email the info to you and then tell you you can go to the web page to get info (we just spent 20 minute discussing can't go to web).

These cards serve no purpose, I had one for $200 and most online places won't take them, even if you register them. You can't use them to pay bills and you can't even use them to buy gas at some gas stations. I went into the gas station and asked for $30 on a pump and it was declined but the funds were still taken out of the card. It took them 5 days to put the money back. This happened at multiple gas stations and I do not get why (I did not pay at the pump and I went inside each time). Also it is a hassle to get the last of your money off of it. I don't see a reason to give these as gifts or use them since it cost 6 bucks to activate it and to many places either don't take them or make it hard to use them. Just give the person cash, it will save you 6 bucks and make that person much happier. I honestly don't under stand the point of gift cards in general, it is basically throwing away your money. Be smart and give a gift that everyone loves, as in cash instead of any type of gift card.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
December 1, 2017

After receiving a card that was used after being opened for 3 days I called into Cardholder Services *******536) to dispute the charge. They said I would receive a notice in the mail to contest the charge. After a month, I called in to let them know I never got the form. They then faxed the form to me which I tried to fax back to them multiple times and the line doesn't work. I used different faxes, sent it at different times, etc. I called in to explain this to them and the representative gave me a fax number to another department and said to list on the cover sheet to transfer it to the Dispute Department. I called the next day to confirm it was received and was told that they can't transfer the faxes, so to try and fax it again to the first number they gave me. I kept explaining that it doesn't work, but they said it's either fax it or mail it in, so I tried to fax it again. AND GUESS WHAT, the fax number still doesn't work! So now I have to send it in via mail and wait 90 days for a resolution.

Seriously get it together and figure out a better way to help your paying customers. Clearly, your fax doesn't work and you're expecting customers to pay multiple times to have things faxed and mailed to you.

Tried to use website to register the card so I could use to pay bills online but gift card site was down. Tried several times, so decided to call instead. I was leery based on reviews, but the associate I spoke with was very nice and helped me register the card quickly and easily. Card was already activated and funds loaded. She said to allow 1 hour before using online, so I'll see how it goes.

Worst experience ever.
October 24, 2017

So after 2 days of trying to use card on wargames, and getting multiple "locked" transactions, I finally got some answers. They would not make any exceptions to the policy- which is not currently listed (as of today) online. They stated the card can't be used on gaming or gambling websites, although this is not listed ANYWHERE on the terms or agreements of use paper INSIDE the package. Who can read all that prior to purchase. It is not stated ANYWHERE on the PDF on their own website. My last transaction, for what ever reason, they told me was not even trying to be processed in the USA, yet the same site the transaction before showed San Francisco. I am not sure where an online site is based. I am now stuck with this 50 to use else where and have to get another card from another company for my son to go online and play his game. I spoke to 3 different people- the first informed me I needed to register the card--- oops my bad... the second told me about the gaming restriction. I find this interesting issue as purchasing this card is like holding a 50 dollar bill. It is not re-loadable, there is no line of credit, I can't ask for more credit, it only has a 50 limit- but I needed 16 digits of a cc to make my purchase online. I am warning all my social media people, with the holidays coming up to look at the BACK of the prepaid card they are going to buy and if it reads PREPAIDGIFTBALANCE.com... to move on to another card! Thankfully I was not on hold for very long. Oh and I was given a PO Box to escalate my complaint.

Worst Gift card EVER!

I got yesterday and it said no active then I called they said 1 hour called again 24 Hours. They are scammers and I wasted my money I cant get it back because gift cards are non refundable. Very bad customer service. There are liars. Very BAD!

FRUSTRATING!

I have registered my card as instructed. I have tried several times to make a purchase online at two different websites. Both websites refused my card. One site even said invalid - do not use again. AND just try to get through to a representative! You had better have a full charge on your cell's battery!

This is the worst Gift Card site I ever seen. I was trying to make a purchase online and it keep on saying "Change payment method", When I am trying to check my balance. It say "Card not working". This is a huge disappointment.
