Ordered fast food 1/2 mile from home. Delivery over 1/2 hr late and cold(it was Mexican food cold n flabby) got the canned reply of we're concerned give us another chance. No offer of refund for inedible food! Delivery service is too competitive to deal with this company!

Drivers security

Postmate dont really care about what happen to their drivers if your pick up or drop off location are save reason i will recommend to always drive with a partner. Today my GF had a pick up at a 7/11 for one little pack of popcorn with a drop location with the customer number to call from postmate that number she call endup being a fraud number

I will never use postmates again and will spread the word! 3 times I've paid for delivery and 3 times food was never delivered, yet i still got charged. Driver pick it up take the food like they are delivering... Ive provided my cell number for them to call or text if they have issues... Nothing! So its costing me for my food, a F-ing tip and a postmates charge! They obviously dont check out who they hire. THIEVES Both the drivers and Postmates. I called to see what they can do... not a damn thing... they dont care! Just found out why... they've been bought out. Dont use them, especially if you are in the Costa Mesa CA area.

Would give zero stars if possible. Tried Postmates for the first time because the restaurant I wanted to try used them. Received confirmation of my order. About 10 minutes AFTER my food was scheduled to be delivered(and too late at night to order elsewhere) I received the message that delivery was cancelled because they, well, had no delivery people. To add insult to injury, the email I received said "don't worry" because they will credit the charge against my NEXT ORDER! Customer [non]service says they'll "try" to respond within 3 business days. Planning to report this as credit card fraud if no better response is received.

I will never use Postmates again. I placed an order for two desserts, after I entered my credit card info and clicked submit I noticed they automatically added ice cream to both orders. I called the restaurant and was told I would have to contact Postmates to receive the partial refund for the ice cream I did not want. I had the manager's name at the restaurant and he said he would tell Postmates they did not send out the ice cream. I contacted Postmates giving them the managers name I spoke to and told them I did not order the ice cream and I did not receive it. After 5 days of getting the run around with customer support, they apologized for the inconvenience and said they would not issue a credit or refund and said they hope I have a better experience next time! I deleted the app, will never use them again.

It's a scam

Prices are fake. They paid Google tons of money to appear in naps results, displaying before the actual owners websites, and then they charge you more than menu price. Complete scam.

I ordered donuts for my grandson.
They charged me $31.19. I called the place they said they delivered from about 2 hours after it was supposedly delivered and my order had been never placed at all. They even sent me a picture of a delivery person. I asked for my money back. They gave me a credit of $22 that I could use on future purchases. Why would I want to try to use them again. I want my money back because of the way they scammed me.

I placed an order to jersey mikes for pickup and when I got there they said the grill was closed. Nothing in the postmates app warned me about this and when i tried cancelling my order through the app to get refund the cancel order button did not work on the app totally useless! No direct a contact info, no nothing! DO NOT order from them ever!

Crooked tactics

They showed up on a Google search for a donut shop menu. It appears that you are placing your order thru the restaurant. Because of the pandemic, online order and door pickup was the only option.
I placed my order thru Postmates unknowingly. I recd a text stating my order would be ready in 20 min. After 20 min I recd another text from Postmates stating my order was ready. When I went to the door to pick up, the employee had no record of my order. He fulfilled my order anyways after I told him what happened.
Dont use these fools.

This is the 4th time my boyfriend and I have had Postmates cancel our order. They cancel with no follow up email and no explanation of why its canceled. Their service sucks, the food is cold or old we order drinks we dont get anything or the order is wrong all together. Their drivers are horrible and have no idea what direction they are supposed to go, and always have to be guided over the phone. What type of legitimate business doesn't have a way to personally contact them and be able to speak with a manager or someone in charge! You can't call any of their numbers because it redirects you to a webpage and their website is always down. I think Postmates is a scam a BIG scam and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! My boyfriend has already canceled his account. Postmates has set things up perfectly for themselves to not have to be accountable for anything. We will now be spending our money on places like Grubhub and business that actually know what they are doing, and how to treat their customers! By the way I called that Waffle House and they were and are accepting orders. Way to lie Postmates!

The driver left food outside the screened in patio where it would not be safe from squirrel and other creatures! Crazy. I believe this was to avoid the doorbell camera which would have alerted me to the food being out there! Too bad it sat out there. Not happy and will use better, more reliable services from now on.

My family is sickened right now. We were shorted a drink, we got a salad we didn't order, the burger was devoid of the toppings we ordered and THERE WERE HUGE BITES TAKEN OUT OF ONE OF THE BURGERS.

This was from Fatburger and Fatburger gave us a hard time about replacing anything. I just want to throw it all away and probably will, despite my husband going ape **** and demanding replacements. I mean I don't know if this guy put his gross hands into my fries, sipped out of the side of one of the drinks, or whatever.

I am absolutely, literally shocked. NEVER AGAIN.

Postmates should conduct a thorough review and improve on their cancelation and refund system.

We placed and canceled an order within a few minutes but never got any credits. We called the customer service and they were of no help, claiming that they have to execute the order in minutes and make the payment to the merchant. That is fair reasoning for the benefit of the merchant but how can Postmates system, in the first place, allowed us to cancel without any warning that we will be charged in full. Plus there was no indication or notification that the order was processed at all before we canceled. Worst till, the customer service also mentioned that we only have two days from the time of order/canceling to reach out if we don't see the credits in our bank account. Two days is ridiculous - at times it will take the bank more than two days just to post the charge which means one might not even notice after two days. In fact in this instance, this false charge only posted on my bank statement two days after the initial order/cancelation so I'm not sure what Postmates expects a customer to do other than - sitting in front of the computer and refreshing the screen for two days to track a transaction and if not, we'll lose the money - simply absurd timeframe and requirement to obtain a refund.

I honestly consider this a fraud and deceiving of customers. On top of that, the customer service was only helpful in scripted words but contributed very very minimal to resolve the issue.

Attached here the proof of cancelation and this is no small amount. Note there was no information, none whatsoever that indicate I would be charged in full and not get any credit or refund. In addition, other than this screenshot, there was no other information available on this transaction.

I would not recommend Postmates based on this experience and advise others to avoid - unless you want to lose your hard earned money.

Postmates is the WORST. They take over an hour for drive through fast food, don't let you cancel your order, don't refund you your money when you don't even have your order, and you cannot get hold of anyone. THEY ARE THIEVES. All they care about is taking your money and leaving you out to dry. I never even received my order and they STILL won't refund me my money, and they fought the dispute with my bank. DON'T USE POSTMATES.
