Buying from Poshmark is not worth your time. Even if the item is not what you bought, Kayla and the others will ignore what is told to them. So much for the claim that an incorrect order will be made right. LLBean sunwashed canvas pants were advertised and what I got were a totally different pair of LLBean pants. They care about making a return impossible. Do not buy! That is the best Treatment for the website.

Fraudulent site. I would not use. I ordered an item that was damaged and smelled horrible. They will never give you a refund.

Buyer beware!
August 14, 2019

I have "bought" three items on Poshmark I say "bought@ because no guarantee you'll receive anything in two cases, I never did, nor did the sellers ever respond it's also nearly impossible to communicate with the sellers, and there is no objective rating system to can view, no way to give negative feedback on a seller I seriously question how legit most of the sellers are, and the site in general bad! Bad! Bad!

Do not use Poshmark!
August 13, 2019

Do not use Poshmark! I ordered a couple of items from a seller, one of which was a pair of shorts. The seller said the shorts were a size 27. When I got them they did not have a size marked on them and were obviously at least three sizes smaller. I asked Poshmark to review the order so I could return the item. I sent pictures of the item next to a true size 27 waist and it looked like little kids shorts they were so small in comparison. They got back with me and said that the item did not meet return policies and that brands all fit differently. Do not order from them, they do not stand behind the products they allow to be sold on their site!

Poshmark is not to be trusted. I placed an order with them and 9 days later it had not even shipped. You cannot get ahold of anybody on the phone or via live chat. You have to send them an email and hope they respond as promised within 24 hours. I would seriously doubt that you would come to any type of a resolution such as getting your item or a refund. Poshmark is the worst online retailer I have ever seen. Stay away from them if you value your money.

No shipment
August 11, 2019

First time ordering with Poshmark and I never received my items. Contacted Poshmark and their reply was that sometimes sellers have personal issues. What?! Contacted seller and still no order received. Do the people that sell on Poshmark hate money? Why go through the effort and not send the items. Is this a scam?

I purchased shoes and they have not been sent. You are UNABLE to directly contact sellers? You are UNABLE to inquire about the order. Sellers can post an email, which this one did, and emails were sent back as that is not a working email address.
What on earth kind of company is this? Why is there no way to contact sellers or a customer service department?
Poshmark, you need to look at Ebay and Amazon and change some of your business practices.

I used to love Poshmark - until I started buying wholesale. Over the last 2 months I have spent a TON of money on wholesale. One order that came was all garbage from China - the clothing had no label, which is illegal in the US. I opened a return case ($300 purchase) and had to fight SO hard to get my money back and get the return approved - and the only reason it was approved is because the wholesaler said to allow it because they didn't want to deal with me. About 16 other pieces I received have no brand label, and I've been fighting for my money back with Posh for a month. I've filed a complaint with the FTC, and next I will be disputing the charges with my cc company. Every response I get from them is different, and no one knows what they're talking about. Their OWN WHOLESALE POLICY states that a brand must be on the clothing! This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. I cannot and will not sell the stuff that came unbranded as it is illegal, and the items are GARBAGE - Poshmark told me if I didn't want the items - another $500 - to DONATE THEM. I'm done with Poshmark. I've been on the app for 6 years - active for 2 - over 100k followers, solid 5 star rating, 1200 sales... and they're refusing to do the right thing. Horrible.

I'm a buyer and I had good transactions, despite many sellers not detailing inseam size, or actual waist size. Poor photos and at times non-exist responses from seller. What annoyed and caused me to cancel my account was a seller who I annoyed questioning her horrible photos, and besides the seller 2 others were allowed to chime in whilst I was blocked from communicating. Poshmark, you lost a prolific buyer by allowing sellers to censor the buyers comments. Poshmark, you are in my rear view mirror. I hope the Seller, "blessed wifey" chokes on her jeans, cause this buyer is not buying from Pockmark.

A total waste of time
August 1, 2019

I have been doing Poshmark for a few months now. Today I took down my closet! The site is full of resellers... people who buy your stuff to resell on their site. When they get their order they try to return it saying it was not as described or broken... I am just tired of the stupid games. Really who would sell a 14k gold diamond bracelet for $25. Did the add even say that? No it did not. But that is what they wanted. So now I have a broken, yes they broke it to return it. CZ tennis bracelet...
I will be taking all my stuff to my local resale now.
Poshmark is a waste of time and energy!

I have been using posh Mark since 2017, for two years. I always had great experiences until the last few months. Two returns in question have resulted in my loss of money. Poshmark has policies for how items should be described. Their policy states the seller should be as descriptive and as accurate as possible with details of the item being sold. I have have two returns that Poshmark did not follow their policy. I've lost money in the last few months on two returns that they have not approved. I am going to leave Poshmark, I am extremely dissatisfied.

BUYER BEWARE. I purchased my first item on poshmark a couple of weeks ago. It was described as NWOT. When I received the item it was clearly not new, with fraying seams and pilling. I started a case and was eventually approved to return the item for a full refund. I was traveling during this time, and received a notice from Poshmark stating that I must return the item within 24 hours or forfeit the refund. I contacted customer support explaining that clearly I had not been able to print and mail the item while being away. When I returned 48 hours after their requested return window, I emailed them with a photo of the boxed item with shipping label affixed, ready to drop in the mail, and asking if I could go ahead and mail it for the refund. I received a reply from "Catherine, the Team Lead of the Disputes team overseeing returns and escalations". She refused to refund the item.

Ridiculous. False advertising by sellers, no quality control whatsover, and awful customer service. There is no option to speak with anyone over the phone. Buyers beware.

Not so sure about this company now
July 31, 2019
Updated review

I've lowered my rating of Poshmark after having an odd experience on the site. I had removed all of the for-sale items in my "closet" because I was, temporarily, too too busy to follow up on bids and sales. So my closet showed only sold items. But many weeks later I received an offer on an item I had removed. Odd. I think it slipped through because it was a second bid, from someone who had previously submitted a low offer and had been rejected. So that is a flaw in the Poshmark programming, and that is my first complaint. I still had the item so I accepted the offer, and then I got a surprise and this leads to my second complaint. The item was a handbag from a Big Name designer brand, and the purchaser was the manufacturer! The "buyer" was identified as a woman's name, but the address was the office for the brand. So perhaps the manufacturer is buying up their stock on the resale market? What bothers me about this sale is that I found this out only after accepting the bid. It makes me feel that I have been snookered, somehow. It seems wrong that a company can hide behind an essentially anonymous buyer while snapping up their merchandise across the Web. And then the "buyer" did not give me any stars for the sale, so that messes up my average rating of full marks. This got me thinking about the flaws in the Poshmark structure. It's not balanced in favor of the sellers. Sellers are not allowed to rate buyers, even though buyers cause a lot of problems (based on the many complaints I have read). And I have never been comfortable with sending items to stranger with my return address on the package. So I am no longer a fan of this site.

As a seller I've had good experiences...
February 26, 2019
Previous review

I've sold many items on Poshmark, and I have full marks as a seller. I package my items carefully, include extra gifts, and sell only the best quality goods. The reason I don't give full marks for the site are, first, they don't filter out the junk many people post on the site. I see listing for the strangest stuff (used bra, anyone?). Second, there are obvious resellers who comb the site and follow other sellers. They'll "like" your listings and follow you, and I get the feeling they are gaming the system. I've never had a problem with anyone returning an item, but I have had low-ball offers that are just insulting, and that can be frustrating. Overall, I'd say this is a fine place to sell things like new or lightly used handbags and new-in-box shoes. Other items are slower to move.

Good App.
July 29, 2019

I have purchased 2 items with no problems. I have also sold 2 items with no problems. You must read the terms carefully so you understand how Poshmark works. Also, you must read the ads carefully when making a purchase. If you have any questions, you should leave a comment to the seller. This site is like a garage sale. Once you purchase something, it is not returnable (there are exceptions). I try to be very specific in my ads so the buyer is not disappointed.

Horrible app
July 28, 2019

I honestly wanted to like this app when I first started I felt it was amazing but then buyers came in and decided that they want to return item even when nothing is wrong with it and Poshmark always sides with buyer. I am not impressed by the snarky attitude from Poshmark and I am done with it. They take so much commission and don't even supply boxes here in Canada so I have to buy them. I was given 4 stars because I didn't ship fast enough even though I am not working at post office I can't get them to ship that day. Super annoying and transactions take so long I don't like this app and I think you should sell Stuff else where.

It really sucks that you can't return something that you didn't like or it doesn't fit. I have reached out to their team but all they said I'm sorry you cannot be returned.

Garbage
July 24, 2019

Sold several items with positive reviews and all of a sudden they accuse me of selling a fake belt? Possibly other sellers marking my belt as counterfeit because I am purposefully selling it lower than them? They removed it, I offered to provide proof of purchase for the listing and they said they would not reinstate it. Zero stars. Garbage app. Terrible customer service.

This site is ridiculous nothing but bored people harassing and putting rude comments if someone misses out on a sale they convince the seller to cancel on you. Customer support sucks and I still have not received an order but it shows delivered and they will not refund me and there is no customer service that you can speak to you can only send an email they don't respond to

When I first started using Poshmark I liked it a lot. Their website and app is user-friendly and they incorporate the social media aspect that we are familiar with to the buying & selling experience. HOWEVER, Poshmark charges a fee of 20% of your sale. This fee doesn't allow you to make any type of money and then you have to increase your prices so that you don't loose money on your inventory. I highly recommend Ebay instead of Poshmark they have a fee of 9% and a max of $50 on all sales. Poshmark's fee makes it useless to sellers. I rated one start because I think it is important to not support businesses that extract too much money from the e-commerce market. It starts to look quite "scammy" when businesses charge fees that no longer support a profit margin for sellers. Which then results in hiked up prices for buyers or losses on inventory for sellers.
