I ordered a pair of leggings from Poshmark -
I had multiple pairs of exact leggings from same maker. When the Poshmark leggings arrived they were at least 3 inches longer and much larger than any of my exact leggings. There was no company tag on waistband as all other leggings have. I contacted Poshmark customer service, sent pictures and they did not help me in any way. Obviously these leggings were fakes, documented with photos and Poshmark did ZERO to make this right.
I am a relatively new customer of Poshmark but have made quite a few purchases. I have been happy with all of them. The variety and prices are great and shipping is quick. The site is super easy to navigate. Highly recommend!
I was seriously considering selling on poshmark but after reading dozen of negative reviews, I think I will go with a more reputable source.
I've been buying and selling on Posh for a few years and it has been a great experience. Great selection and good prices.
I paid a cost for 1-3 day shipping, ha! I tried to cancel but no response from Posh, never again! I need the item for a trip, it will come long after I am across the pond.
I purchased a pair of Nike shoes for my husband. The listing had photos that show a pair of blue shoes. I subsequently looked at the shoes on three different computer monitors and they all looked blue. (See Photo 1 from listing; Photo 2 of shoes received.) When they arrived, the shoes were black. I reported the error to Poshmark as soon as I received them in the mail, and after a few days, I received a reply that said my request to return them was denied because "color was listed correctly." This was my first and last experience shopping on Poshmark. Money wasted!
I purchase a 7 piece comforter set for $114 which was slightly lower than the current retail price. When I received it, the comforter was torn and was missing 3 pillows, so it was really not a 7 piece set but a 4 piece set. When I tried to initiate a return, the website was not working properly so I immediately sent an email to customer service. They asked for pictures of the tear, which I promptly sent, but they still did not stop the payment from going through. They offered me a $50 credit but I am stuck with junk and not decorative pillows. Stick with Ebay. They at least stand by their buyers.
I want NEW underwear and tired searching just to discover (some) men with a hidden agenda selling soiled, worn, used Underwear. I got tired and did not BUY. Instead, I contacted PM Cust-Svcs and got this reply from (Ruth)
- Thanks for your email. We are so sorry to hear that you encountered this type of user on our platform. Please note that we do not condone the selling of used underwear. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Best, Ruth, Happy Poshing!

=== Search Google, type > Poshmark Penguin original boxer-briefs.
There you'll find white polka dot on navy Penguin boxer brief and the seller (name withheld) clearly writes >>>> Size XL but fit as a medium are the perfect accessory for leg day and these were used plenty.
WARNING: do not shop or buy from Poshmark! I sent repeated messages regarding a purchase I made. Instead, the seller vroeder13 continued to update her page and ignore my questions. She did not bother to ship the item that I purchased nor notify me. I found the item at an even higher price and purchased it there. I would rather pay more for a pleasant, professional experience than deal with a pseudo site/seller like vroeder13. Buyer BEWARE!
I have bought twice on Poshmark. The first was fine, no problems. The second time I ordered a pair of shoes from a company that I know really well, so they fit fine but they reeked of cigarette smoke. I asked to return it, and the seller (the_trendy_spot) was nasty and hostile, calling me a liar and claiming that I'm returning it because it doesn't fit, which is not valid according to the terms of postmark. I sent a picture of me wearing the shoes to prove that it's not a fit issue.
The seller claimed that they could not have smelled of smoke because she knows the whole history of the shoes, even though they were not her shoes! Was she stalking someone else's shoes?
Poshmark took her side saying that the item was as described. Sure, the ad didn't claim that the shoes didn't smell like smoke, but isn't that kind of a basic assumption, that you're not buying something that reeks? And then Poshmark wrote that I could just resell it. What?!?! Suggesting that I resell something that reeks? They obviously deal with questionable people to suggest something like that.
I'm sure there are sellers who are what Poshmark advertises to be, selling gently used items they no longer wear. But there is a huge segment of people selling items that they get from thrift stores and garage sales - check the range of shoes and clothes sizes in their closets. With these 3rd hand sales, and horrible return policy, I think you'd have to be a sucker for punishment to buy from Poshmark - just go to your local consignment store or garage sale or thrift store and see, touch, and smell the item before buying.
Stay away from Poshmark! They allow buyer returns, even when the item is EXACTLY as described. Any scammer can return something by making up a reason. I recently sold a brand new red jacket, and Poshmark allowed the buyer to open a claim and return it because she claimed the color was not red enough. The buyer wore and soiled the jacket, and Poshmark wouldn't do anything, even when I filed a problem with the return on their app. Poshmark does not answer emails, and they do not have a phone number. They just ignore customers. STAY AWAY!
Why is this company still in business? I signed up earlier this month to purchase a used Luis Vuitton bag because of their authentication guarantee. While searching for the bag several sellers tried to get me to purchase off the Poshmark website. I declined for obvious reasons. I finally purchased a bag for $875 and the seller decided she did not want to ship it to me and canceled the order. I found out it is common on the site for sellers to flake out and cancel orders. I still haven't received refund of my money though the site did acknowledge the cancellation and promised refund. The site and its "sellers" are a total joke. It will be out of business soon.
I have been trying to find out about a $19.00 charge on my account. I have been replying to numerous emails them requesting same information and me sending same information. Worst customer service ever.
This company is not the place to shop from they are not aware of what is being sold because the seller send me a dress claiming to be a silk dress it was like some kind of kid costume very rubbery poorly made selling for $91 dollars honestly I would even want for free. As far as their customers service you will be in trouble if something is wrong with your purchase because they have some standard message and every time you reach out to them, they send you the same email. Its been almost a week of explaining my situation that I didn't get what I ordered and no response but this informal email that say you will hear from them in 24 hours but nothing. I do not recommend this company; in all my years this one is by far the worse.
If you a seller just be carefull, alot of people trying to get items for free, poshmark just in buyer side when they want to return the items (with any of reasons!) And buyer will send you an empty box or their junk! They just took our items for free! And when you complain to poshmark they just give you credit money $15 lol whats a joke!? And alot of people just lowballing you lol: D
If you a buyer too expensive over there, its not the seller fault to give high price but its because poshmark take 20% off from their sales. Alot of seller selling their garbage used items and saying they are perfect condition. Just 0 star for poshmark!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY! I recently bought a $2500 dollar Louis Vuitton purse from a seller on Posmark. After 3 weeks of trying to get my bag delivered, I was told from the seller that the label Poshmark was sending wasn't good, so the only way I could reach out to them to communicate was via email. Can you even imagine that a company who deals with high priced items like that doesn't even have a PHONE NUMBER? The seller kept the bag and sold it to someone else while Poshmark kept my $2500 dollars. I had to file a FRAUD claim with my bank in order to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
I purchased two men's shirts - shown on the website as Men's Shirts Size 20 and when the Packages arrived from 2 different sellers the shirts were boy shirts size 20. Sokthy from their customer service when he denied my return says they do not address fit, and my response was but what about Fraud, fit was never the issue. One of the shirts arrived with a large ink stain on the sleeve as well. Your sellers both lied.
WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN! Dress came damaged was not stated in the description. I filed a report. You asked for more outdoor pictures within 24 hours. It was raining, however, I still was able to send the pictures before the 24 hours. Yet my case was closed before the 24 hours was up. Now I have dress that will never be worn because it is damaged right in the front. You don't protect the customers so I will never purchase again and I will be sure to spread the word!
Buyer beware! My first purchase experience on this site has been a nightmare! I ordered size 34 shorts from a seller, what I got was size 31. When I tried to return them, the seller said it was my fault because the description said actual waist 34 and tag says 31, even though they were listed as size 34. Well measurement of the waist of the shorts was actually 36.5 inches, so seller was way off anyway. And who lists something as the measured size and not what the tag shows! I opened up a case to return the shorts, which I thought would be a breeze, but instead I get hateful messages from the seller calling me a liar and calling me a scammer. Because I wanted to return A $39 PAIR OF SHORTS, people. Yes, this is a true story! Poshmark hasn't stepped in as of yet, I keep getting harrassed by this seller and they let this happen? I keep telling the seller to stop contacting me and let Poshmark handle it but she keeps harrassing me! I emailed them yesterday because they have no phone number to let them know what was going on and how the seller was attacking me, and I get an email that says "please send us pictures of the actual measurements and the tag size". They didn't even address the seller's harrassing messages! This is my first and definitely LAST purchase on Poshmark!
They have a no return policy. I have bought ten different items on Poshmark. One was okay. The rest were old, pilly and did not fit. There 6.79 shipping is ridiculous. I have wasted way too much money there and have half a closet of clothing I cannot use.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
