This company is vile. Out of 5 orders recently placed, 2 never shipped (and you cant write reviews to warn others), 1 item was filfthy leather not pictured, and the most recent came with obvious holes (i saw as soon as i opened the package) which scamming seller intentionally covered in photos by folding the garment over the holes. I ordered the item on dec 27, seller had to be reminded twice to ship it, and didnt ship till jan 3. I got the item with holes on it and did a return request right away, pissed at the waste of my time (taking photos, knowing how unpleasant it is having to go to post office, having to wait for item in the first place, etc) and money. I have MS which makes walking hard, and it takes me 40 minutes r/t to walk to post office (in 30 degree weather nonethless) - and now poshmark is tellng me if the return request isn't shipped by tomorrow 10 am (less than 3 business days), the money gets released to the seller. Ive had doctor's appt s and errands to run - i have photo proof - why do i have less time to ship than seller did? 3 business days when i already have plans for those days in advance, not knowingi was about to be scammed when i ordered? I didnt WANT To have to return this defective item, i wanted it to come as advertised. This company protects scammers and allows people not to ship, collecting and holding your money all the while while not letting you write reviews. And if you can prove your seller scammed you, you are over an hour of your life proving the scam, rushing to go to the post office, interrupting your life. After these continuous negaive experiences, never again.
I have purchased many items (clothes, low priced jewelry, designer bags) and had great experiences from the handful of sellers I know and trust. But…. I came across a *******@clothfluid who was selling a huge selection of cashmere sweaters, sets etc at really good prices. I ended up placing (3) orders. My first order arrived (late) and should have contained (2) different styles of sweaters. One Blue and one Navy Blue. When I opened the package it contained (1) gray sweater. The style was correct. But I was not sure if it was blue or gray. The seller does not do any listings with photos on her site. All her sales come from live shows. She's a fast talker and is entering orders in as she's doing the show. I reached out to customer support to confirm the color (there was a code on the tag that I'm pretty sure was the identifier for the color. Then explained I did not receive the second sweater. I went through the proper place on the App which included photos of the sweater I received and some of shipping label (which was not on a box rather a plastic bag making it virtually impossible to get it in one photo). Sent it all in. They asked for clearer photos in better light and a full photo of shipping label. So I informed them I was fine with the sweater sent. But I could not get a decent photo on label and upload to their app. It just distorts everything. I suggested they print a clear copy of the shipping label there since they created it and sent to me. And since Clothfluid does not post photos-reach out to her and get one I was sure she had a stock photo. The next day I got a "case closed-documentation not provided in time" and they took the liberty of marking the order ACCEPTED. Nothing about the missing sweater, a credit. Customer Support was no help. They are a joke. I got an email last week asking for a picture of the missing sweater. All my orders were placed December 12. So I freaked out on her. Second order I can see before it was shipped and it was completely wrong. I reached out to ClothFluid and got nothing. I joined a live show and brought it up and she got so mad. Does not like to look bad. It happened all the time. She calls you out to the crowd and then they begin to harass you. She then blocked me from her shows and messaging after second order arrived totally messed up. She could have fixed it given the 5 days it sat at her house. So back to app with photos etc. she messaged me telling me I was lying and I got exactly what I ordered. One sweater was not even cashmere it was itchy acrylic. She behaved like she was 5. That's when I got blocked from her shoes and messaging. Now that's not only unprofessional it's childish. The Posh Gods did open a claim and ruled in my favor, sent me a return shipping label and it arrives today. Then the third order sat for over 10 days so I got the email from customer support saying I could cancel the order since it's been 10 days that they had tried to reach seller ClothFluid but she was not responding. Can you say acting like a child? I could reach her if I wanted to. I had told them hmmmmmm 20 times I was blocked. I said praise the Lord I will cancel now. I followed their half ——- instructions and canceled. Still waiting on all my credits. (Yep I'm an idiot). Then maybe 6 days later i get this joyful email from you got it customer support letting me know exciting news….your sweater has been shipped. Here's the shipping number to follow. So I had to reach out to customer support to ask what do you want me to do with this sweater I canceled? Quite frankly you should say "keep it and we will still credit it as a sign of our deepest apologies for all the missteps you have been through." I mean the shipping costs are more than the cost of the sweater. Customer service told me I needed to go to the app and choose. Not what I ordered. But I said no. That makes you look good and you aren't good. I'm trying to see if I can mark it REFUSED and they send it back but with it being priority mail I think I would have to pay. Conclusion; there are bad sellers on the platform for sure. Customer support is a waste of money for the company. I asked if anyone was brave enough to stop hiding behind their email and get on the phone. The answered we don't have phones. Now that's a company embracing technology and in the 2020s.
Be cautious of the seller you are purchasing from. There aren’t really reviews to look at but ask your community of other sellers you trust and fellow buyers. I got feedback about this seller after the fact

Order: *******ad*******d312a4bdc97
Ordered a used Louis Vuitton bag.
The description said there was a scratch on the back of the bag on the leather. No problem.
I receive the bag and the front hardware is chipped. NO where in the listing did it say that the hardware was chipped, neither did the seller upload close pictures of the hardware to see the damage.
I asked poshmark to be able to return this bag or to get a discount to fix the damage and they refused either solution stating that the listing shows a correct description. WHICH IT DOES NOT, since it never stated the chipped hardware.
I have been buying and selling non stop for a decade with poshmark, they have become extremely fraudulent letting sellers get away selling junk as long as the can make a buck.
They will go bankrupt very soon if this continues since places like ebay are offering authencity and quality control for luxury items.
If you are new to this company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I will stop using them after 10 years as a loyal posher.
REFUND ME ASAP FOR THIS DAMAGED ITEM!
Order Number 65ee04a504b36da*******ee I was incorrectly charged for sales tax. Ear warmers are under the clothing sales tax exemption in New Jersey. I sent Poshmark customer service the official document to ask for a refund for sales tax. A representative called Jade who is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional replied to my message. She was quoting that the fur clothing is not under the tax exemption, even after I sent her the correct reference, page 20 on the document. All the messages she sent are irrelevant to my purchase. I'm requesting Poshmark to refund me the sales tax, and apologies to me from this employee.

Hi Maria,( Poshmark Manager)
Email: *******@poshmark.com
The Poshmark Canada policy is that "Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled. The buyer has to provide pictures and good resons for the cancelation etc."
The above policies I just stated and more are written on you website.
This order was placed and shipped on November 9th.
Why are you not following your policies?
I DON'T SEE ANY REASONS WHY IT WAS CANSELLED.
My jacket traveled around Canada and stayed at your office for weeks. The buyer has purchased the jacket. The $600 were posted on my account.
The buyer or Poshmark has to pay and hold accountable for the order.
Thanks,
Fit Dragon
DO NOT TAKE THE RISK by not purchasing the desired item from the original manufacturer! It is HIGH RISK to trust Poshmark with your money. Poshmark & the seller STOLE MY MONEY! I Provided multiple photos for proof that the item I received was NOT the item that was photographed by the seller (color AND SIZE). Informed postmark the day after I received the item and they Immediately denied my request for a return and refund. They rarely allow returns; even if you've been scammed by a seller because they take a percentage of the seller's income from the sale, and they want you to use their site to turn around and sell the item you don't want so they can take another percentage. TOTALLY UNETHICAL! Will be opening a claim with my credit card company, good thing you bank will try to protect you. Poshmark give me my money back! Order #64cc84abdb3a6f3cd9f39aec
I've been using Poshmark for years and have FINALLY had enough. I've written a review before, discussing Poshmark's bad customer service but indicating that I still use the app. I'm finally done…
When I first started using the app/website years ago, I felt a sense of community, but it's not there anymore. Half the time, customers and sellers are lovely. The other half of the time, it feels like they forget there's a human on the other end of things. I've had people complain of slow shipping, even when it's in the time allotted, and even when I explain that I work and am in nursing school. I've had someone complain of an item smelling and it was perfectly good and clean. I only send out clean items. It probably sat for a little too long and smelled musty. Sure, I should've rewashed it before I mailed it out. But I've received items that smell like smoke or patchouli on multiple occasions and I just wash it and it's fine. Maybe that says more about my standards, but I've approached things that way because I know that I'm buying from people that gave me a good price on a quality item, not a department store that I have the highest standards for. People take until the end of the time allotted to ship my purchases. I don't care because they're people with lives outside of Poshmark. I don't think many people consider this when shopping on the site. People ignore you when you're trying to make offers or ask questions about an item. People will get upset about haggling and start to offer you a higher price and end up not accepting the lower price that they once offered you. It's passive aggressive.
Don't get me started on the customer service. As many people have explained, it's clear that Poshmark only cares about making money. They were acquired by a parent company overseas recently and I feel like I noticed a shift in the way that issues are resolved. They used to take the hit and settle things for both sides, which probably isn't the best business model, but it did yield happy/faithful customers. Now it feels like they don't give a hoot about customers and that the goals are strictly business.
A customer service experience as a buyer: I bought a shirt that was described as "raw hem." I have fancy jeans that I bought from Saks with a "raw hem." They're beautiful. When I received my shirt it became apparent that it was something cut in half to make a shirt. I looked it up and it indeed was once a romper that was now cut in half. I opened a case and Poshmark told me it wasn't inaccurately described and that they couldn't help me. When I pressed, explaining how much money I've faithfully made then as a buyer and seller over the years, they kicked me a $5 site credit. It was insulting.
A customer service experience as a seller: I took awhile to ship something, but was still in the allotted timeframe. A customer messaged me curt messages with things like "tracking?" and "so you haven't even shipped yet?" among other messages that had an unfriendly tone to them. After several of those exchanges in which I kindly explained that I was working and preparing for a nursing school final (and she continued to be rude), I told her that I wasn't comfortable completing the sale with someone that talked to me the way she was and that I was canceling the order. She then called me "lazy and apathetic," and talked about how she works full time and is in grad school. So amazingly entitled and lacking any empathy. I was honestly shocked. I blocked and reported her, and Poshmark did absolutely nothing. They didn't even return my email. I snooped a little and saw that she was still active on the site, undoubtedly treating other people this way.
All this to say, Poshmark has brought more stress to my life than it has good finds and money. I feel like it used to be different and better. I'm tired of dealing with bratty, entitled customers, especially the ones that ask for so much for their items and offer you so little for yours or treat you like you're not a person on the other end of the app. I have to deal with people in healthcare all day, you think I want to deal with this crap when I get home? I'm also fed up with customer service that makes it very clear how little I'm worth to the company as an avid buyer and seller. I don't feel protected on the site from either end, and that's a huge problem. I've had way better luck on eBay, Noihsaf Bazaar, Mercari, The Real Real, pretty much everywhere else except for Poshmark. I'm not asking for the world, but when I buy something that is advertised as a shirt and receive a cut up romper, someone better have my back.
The headache that is Poshmark is no longer worth it. Rude customers and terrible customer service have yielded a stress that significantly outweighs the joy I get from using the app. Have some self respect and take your business elsewhere.
I have been using Poshmark for almost 1 year. I have bought numerous items and sold a few things with no problems. More recently I started attending Poshmark shows, I never did this before. I put in a bid for an item and won the item. I check my bank accounts daily for inaccuracy or fraud. When I checked my account associated with the card I used to purchase the bid item at the Posh show, there was more than one charge for the same item. I noticed that they kept trying to take more money from my account when I had already made the payment and it cleared.
So I contacted my financial institution and explained the situation. They advised me to close the card because the charges were showing up with different transaction action numbers, meaning they were repeat charges for the same amount from Poshmark. Two deductions were posted and money taken from my account. I explained in great detail to my bank that I owed for one payment, but not the repeat ones that were coming through. The customer service rep with my bank advised me to file a dispute for the repeat charge that was not authorized. So this is what I did.
So then I go on my Poshmark account a few weeks after the above incident and my entire closet was deleted and my account restricted. When I reached out to Poshmark customer support and explained the situation in detail they said they were looking into the matter because a charge dispute had been filed. I've sent countless emails with screenshots showing the transactions posting to my bank account and why I filed a dispute, because Poshmark kept trying to charge me for something I already paid for!
Not to mention the same person does not answer or work with you on the matter. Out of the two responses I've gotten from Poshmark customer support, neither answered any of my questions. They keep saying they're looking into my account and working with the financial institution to "resolve" the issue. Furthermore, in the 2nd email from them the person replying, they said I should have went to Poshmark first about the issue and not filed a dispute. I'm sorry, what? You want me to wait for days on end for you to resolve the issue while money keeps getting taken from my account? I don't think so. They told me the dispute could negatively impact my account in the future. Why am I being penalized for a mistake on Poshmarks part? I was so dumbfounded by their vague responses, and evasiveness of any questions I asked them.
This has completely changed my opinion on this platform and I will no longer recommend it to anyone after this. My account is still restricted and no one has responded to any of my recent emails. It's going on 4 days. Needless to say I'm seriously considering deleting my Poshmark account. I would have done so already but I'm waiting for a payment on an item I already shipped to a buyer. If it wasn't for that I'd probably just delete the account. All the time I spent making posts for my items were just deleted in one click.
Bottom line, horrible customer service with no option of real-time customer support. You'd think a company like Poshmark who takes 20% commission from each seller sale would offer better customer support. Proceed with caution on Poshmark.
