I bought a cream for my wife. We paid $7 to get it shipped. 2 days turned into 2 weeks before it arrived.
When we got it the contents were leaking from a broken container all over the plastic. The product was defective.
We are trying to get a refund, but they are making it extremely difficult. Don't ever do business with them. They cannot be trusted.
Sold pair of Kate Spade shoes. Bubble wrapped and bagged shoes. Buyer complained of "crease" on side of shoe. Absolute nonsense.and Poshmark agreed with the buyer. This would not be such a big deal if the site was more productive.but it's gone down hill in the last couple of years.due to the Live Show additions and in general, both buyers and sellers are more into scamming then being authentic. The fees are high and customer service is almost non existent. I sell 4 times as much on eBay and can actually talk to a live person. Also in researching items, the algorithm does not function well. I am almost glad this happened as I am shutting my account down.too much work, too little reward.
I recently purchased a pair of tennis shoes from Poshmark since I have worn several pairs of the same shoes before and needed a fresh pair. The shoes were in my usual size and when I tried to put my foot into them, they were too small and would not fit. I was asked for photos of the problem of the miss labeled size and because I have several pairs of the shoes, I was able to show the difference in size between them. Poshmark said that they did not receive multiple emails of photos that I sent them and closed my case! I was told to re-sell the shoes to someone who would have the same problem that I had! They are disreputable and I warn anyone that this could happen to them. I am out $56. For shoes that I cannot wear!
Difficult place to shop. Too many sellers either out of laziness or deceit don't describe thoroughly their wares. It is obvious from comments around the web and a little browsing on the site itself that a lot of fakes are being listed. This means that you have to ask questions. In my short experience looking for a cashmere scarf, I have received mostly lame or evasive answers. Further I was quickly blocked from asking further questions presumably by some algorithm. Problem returns and customer service appear to be the main sources of complaint. This totally contrasts with Ebay for example. So I would have to say a big caveat emptor applies to the whole enterprise.
People stay away from those fraudulent website that selling knock off products. I hope they go out of business forever starting this month. What a horrible place you shop here you are shopping with the devil.
Do not shop here items misrepresented, trick photography and items are never as good as they appear online. For instance this jacket below was marketed as blue by Kelly W and it's anything but blue. I've held it in several different lights and it's not blue. Also, they don't take returns and the resolution center always sided with seller so if you buy the wrong size you're stuck with that product. I'm going back to Ebay where I know they stand behind their products
I spent over $200 for a pair of heels labeled size 8 on her site. When I got then they were size 38 which when googled is 7-7.5 in EU. Which was exactly how they fit or didn't I should say. When I talked to the person selling them they said Louboutin site says they are consider 8 and sent me a picture, when I went looking I could not find it on their site. Regardless, not being able to return a highly expense product is just unacceptable. I purchased from owners on different shops who have and have always been highly concerned with quality and accuracy of the products they sell. This chick did not care at all that her product was misleading or even offer to take them back as most owners on FB marketplace are more caring than this.
Ordered an item. It was never mailed out but the seller printed out a shipping label and it trying to pass that off as a shipment. Poshmark told me I have to wait till 2 weeks after the supposed shipment to cancel the order. Meanwhile, they took the money out of my account right away... no problem with that! They only do customer service by email. They have NO live chat or phone ie.: real person available. In my experience so far, this business is very poorly designed and I won't be surprised if they go under when the fad wears off. There are so many better options. Avoid Poshmark if you value your time and money.
I had over 1,000 listings with 30,000 followers, 5 star ratings. My account was restricted by Poshmark due to "behaviour" - aka me letting know other buyers that certain accounts were luxury counterfeits. I hate seeing innocent people get ripped off by fake accounts for their hard earned money. These items support child labor and undermines legitimate sellers. Posh even picked a fake item as a "Host Pick" in one of their parties. Would rather have people be ripped off for their profits than protect the buyers and other sellers.
I purchased a pair of Eileen Fisher pants for 65.00 not cheap. They came dried out stretched out waist that appears dry rotted. They do not take returns and even with my complaint they expect me to keep them. Total rip off with 6.00 shipping on everything. Stay away
This company is not the place to shop from they are not aware of what is being sold because the seller send me a dress claiming to be a silk dress it was like some kind of kid costume very rubbery poorly made selling for $91 dollars honestly I would even want for free. As far as their customers service you will be in trouble if something is wrong with your purchase because they have some standard message and every time you reach out to them, they send you the same email. Its been almost a week of explaining my situation that I didn't get what I ordered and no response but this informal email that say you will hear from them in 24 hours but nothing. I do not recommend this company; in all my years this one is by far the worse.
Why do we consumers not che k reviews before being screwed over by another one of these sites that take our money and time? I seem to have done this on several occasions especially since the pandemic I ordered something, it was false advertising, I tried to get my money back to no avail then I go to look at reviews and bam! Everyone already tried to warn us. I won't bore you with my shirt was advertised as blah blah and they sent me a cheap knock off blah blah blah. That has happened to all of us on here and these overseas conglomerate companies could not give one. We are all suckers and it's unfortunate. I deleted them today that's the only power we have. Sorry for our loses.
If I could give 0 Stars I would.
The website is hard to navigate. Sellers should be vetted better. No guarantees or returns if not satisfied. The correspondence between posh and customers seems automated. You're on your own at Postmark. I felt taken!
This size is like instagram or Facebook. Everyday you haves 20-30 messages of love, like, follow, etc.
The stuff people sell is not quality clothing or designer. It is mostly very loved tshirts, shorts, cheap jewellery, etc for $10 to $20. Nice listings with value items don't get a lot of activity. It's a chitchat website we're lots of people waste their empty days.
Worst customer service I ever had site attracts fakes and forgeries. Bad people order your clothing and shoes and lie and side with the liar even though I had perfect Posh history. Scams are so frequent now that I bet 1% are real designer items. Designers should sue the hell out of this corrupt operation because their Poshmark services to validate whether real or not is done by amateurs who do not care at all. They are inexperienced and clueless. I have been sold fakes and dealing with customer service is pitiful. They are all incompetent and I hope company goes under soon.
I had problems with Poshmark. I bought two cardigans, and both was too small. Both cardigans looked different from what the sellers showed on pictures. One was deformed from washing, another is badly worn. The Poshmark administration refused to give mea refund. They don't have any buyer protection. If you bay a bad thing or small for you, Poshmark will not return your money. I will never buy anything from Poshmark again. Why should I pay for something that did not fit me and even an old worn one?!
All my listings were wiped out, without notice or any explanation. I contacted their "customer service" which doesn't even seem to exist, and they never responded.
As a buyer, I have purchased 2 items over the last year that were "guaranteed " to be authentic and were not and I had to go through a lengthy process to get a refund.
Check out the reviews: 1.3 stars with so many negative reviews.
Don't waste your time.
Plenty other platforms to buy and sell.
I recently bought a pair of shoes in this platform 32.50 dls for used shoes that didn't look like the description. I tried to contact the seller with no luck. It says that if you contact customer service poshmark within 72 hrs after you received the order they'll help but they take a long time to answer. I'll recommend to not buy from poshmark you're gonna waste your money and time.
I ordered what I was told were Zara "faux leather" pants. When they arrived they were clearly "waxed denim." I know because I own both similar types of pants from Zara. I wrote and said these were misrepresented. They asked to have pics taken which I did. Take more pics, namely of the tag (that says "cotton) or my request will be denied. I did. Still no word from them. All this for a mere $33.00 refund but they don't seem to care. Never doing business with them again...
I've been ripped off many times. The last time I was sent a pair of cargo pants that were advertised at size 36 waist. Although they turned out to be a 34 having been shrunk after many years of poor use. They were t even fit to throw away.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
