I saw an effie dress that I really liked. I have a good collection of effie dresses. This one I did not have. The seller mentioned that the dress lacked the belt. I was fine with that, I have several solid color belts that I thought I could use. Well, so I went ahead and ordered the dress. It arrived within 4 or 5 days. Well, it was balled up in a lump, but I thought I would wash it and iron it and things would be fine. Then I inspected the garment. It had an about 1/2 inch hole in the back and a run in the jersey material. So much for only a belt missing. Of course, I wanted to return it. Turns out that you are supposed to attach a picture of the defect before you get a return envelope. My pic was in JPG format but it would not upload. So I am going back and forth with customer service. I am a very unhappy Poshmark customer.
I have bought two freezer mugs both were damaged. Trying to get a refund is not been met with customer in mind. Sent photos but still have not received a response from the company.
Disappointed in the product and the lack of customer Service.
Buyers BEWARE: According to poshmark support, a poshmark seller does not have to honor an agreed upon offer price. Sellers are allowed to accept an offer, refuse shipping the item, and in 7 days after payment has been made, poshmark will conveniently cancel the order. Then the seller is approved to immediately repost a copy of the exact same listing and increase the listing price to their discretion with no repercussion. Poshmark support refuses to even look into these sort of matters. Thank you Peter!
I made several attempts to contact customer support without success. I received a standard email without follow up or resolve. I would not recommend shopping on this website until this company improves its customer service.
Poshmark is one of the best social marketplaces I have ever registered in. Anytime I had an issue they helped me kindly. They do care about the people and they support you for your products. Just register now to see if I'm telling you the truth.
I bought a Pendleton shirt. It was listed as a large. I have 5 Pendleton shirts in my closet. They are all L in size. They all fit me fine. When I got this shirt through Poshmark sold by coralvermouth it did not fit properly. The sleeves were too short. They would not refund my money or allow me to return the shirt. They said that since the label said it was a large the fit issue was my problem.
Stay as far away from this company as you can. If you do decide to buy from them make sure to stay away from the seller coralvermouth!
Buyer beware! This site is awful! I've purchased 4 different items and None of them looked like the picture or explanation! One seller said "Sorry for the oversight" Seriously! The item was dirty, worn beyond belief, dog hair and stunk! And she said it was an oversight! BEWARE
Horrible, horrible experience! I lost a number of sales because they wouldn't correct something. This went on for over 2 weeks with me receiving the same idiot canned response. Is their "Support Center" in another country or are there no real people manning their Support Center? When I went to their official website to seek assistance, I got some person who said she handles "people like me" Umh! People with legitimate complaints and requests for support. What arrogant people. The actual selling website has a section for deleting your account. DON'T BELIEVE IT. It took over a week of requesting them numerous times to delete the account. I couldn't even get mailing labels from them to ship out sold items. I recommend that if you are considering selling on Poshmark, worry about: (1). Where your personal information is going (the company is being sold to a foreign internet company), (2) you won't get a a real person or be able to find a contact phone number, they pushed me off to a company that handles their complaints BUT you have to pay for this service, and (3) it's next to impossible to delete your account as a result of their HORRIBLE customer service. If I could have rated them less than a "0", I would have. Everyone I know who has either purchased or sold on Poshmark has experienced frustration and they feel incompetence on the part of Poshmark. No wonder it's being sold!
I am a seller and buyer of poshmark have been loving the app for about 5 or 6 months months and have had some hiccups along the way The problem is is there's no customer service support there's nobody to contact for resolution so you're just s*** out of luck and talking to a robot There's a lot of good sellers and a lot of good buyers however if there is an issue It's definitely A difficult resolution That will most likely disappoint you I would recommend that if you have anything that's worth selling not selling not to sell it on poshmark save that for item items that you can ensure or with the selling app or Go to your local pawn stores and buy back clothes stores There's so many ways people can scam you on poshmark
I paid for a handbag and a week later purchase was canceled stating owner no longer has item. But the next day I saw same handbag, at a higher price, from same seller.
Although my purchase arrived quickly, the item I received was not the item I ordered. I reported this and after review, they notified me that they would "Grant" me a refund and provided me a return label. However, they indicated to get a refund I must return everything in the order not just the wrong item and that I had only 2 business days to do so, or they would reject the return and deactivate the shipping label. Their error, but I have to jump through their hoops and really "Quick". Poor customer service. Never again.
Ordered a candle holder several weeks ago, seller inadvertently sent wrong item and notified me immediately. When parcel arrived Poshmark emailed a return label to print out and return item to seller. Meanwhile, seller didn't send out actual item I ordered, I assume she was waiting for wrong package to be returned to her. My printer hasn't been working for a bit, therefore I had my postal carrier handle the situation and expedite return. Seller obviously has not received the return to date (6 days), leaving me to absorb the $25 loss for a mistake the seller made. No buyer protection whatsoever. Would not do business with the company again. I'll stick with eBay where buyer has protection against loss.
I was sold a replica Louis Vuitton wallet and contacted Poshmark about it. They've done everything they can to say the wallet is authentic except for authenticating the wallet. They lie when they say they will authenticate purchases over $500 free. They DO NOT do this despite advertising it. Ultimately they facilitate the selling of illegal products and steal hundreds of dollars from customers who believe they are getting something real until it arrives in the mail. In my case when the wallet was delivered I sent push
Ark pictures immediately of my concerns with the wallet. They wrote me back over a week later when I was out of town for work asking for me pictures within 48hrs or I have to keep it. I replied immediately saying I was out of town and couldn't send pictures until I returned - they released the funds to the seller instantly after me sending the email. They did not wait or give me the 48hrs they said. The canvas does not match up. The button is cutting off an LV and there's pockets missing in the wallet.
My first time using poshmark. I spent over an hour and a half trying to find the right boots. So I purchased them, the seller sent them out immediately, packaged well. To my great surprise, they didn't fit. So I initiated a return. They made me fill out a form, told me EXACTLY step by step what to pick on the form. I did what they said, I explained why I needed to return. They then denied my return because of my reason. The way they told me to fill it out! Then I get a message from the seller who wasn't happy with me because I stated an incorrect reason. I told her, they literally made me select that, I'll send screenshots! So I'm out money, and they made me look like a liar! I am SO angry. This is how you treat customers?& on my first purchase mind you! Bunch of bs poshmark!
Poshmark has the worst customer service ever.
I purchased an item that was listed as the wrong size and sent them proof in pics. I had the same shirt in a smaller size and was trying to buy the next size up. So I was able to show it was actually smaller than mine. I did try to contact the seller and she refused to let me return it. She said Poshmark didn't allow returns and that I can re sell it on Poshmark. Poshmark closed my case saying I didn't send pictures. I did send pictures and I could clearly see them on my account. I could not find a number anywhere to call Poshmark. I messaged poshmark again and told them I had sent pics and they just need to look at them. They just kept sending me the exact same message every time I messaged them saying that I didn't send pics as requested. I asked for a phone number to call and they never would give it to me.
I was charged for a purchase that never arrived. Customer service was supposed to send it with insurance and tracking. They gave a tracking number and said "it was delivered to you". They wont even send me proof of their mailing receipt and insurance with USPS so I can file a proper claim. They just say it must have been stolen. The usps says it was delivered to the front desk/reception area and signed for yet that sounds like a business and I'm a residence. They won't show me proof of who signed and wont help me make claims to USPS. I'm basically on my own. What a waste. That can be a total scam to take your money and say it was sent, we have proof of delivery (yet they dont show their proof). Crazy!
Thats so crazy that people thinks its better to sell things under 15.00. Which makes no sense at all to me
Ebay makes more sense with shipping based on the weight and distance. I also have been sent incorrect items twice and then instead of donating ( they were junky) - I have to repackage and send within 2 days to get a refund. Not my favorite site- I like Ebay, Mercari and even swap much better!
I had heard about Poshmark and was looking for a particular brand so thought I'd give it a try. I bought a blouse, and when received it looked like it was 20 years old. Worn and old looking. I may end up throwing it away. I e-mailed the seller and told her she should be ashamed of herself selling such poor quality merchandise. Poshmark e-mailed me and complained that I wasn't "following their rules". Whoops. Sorry about that. Poshmark may work for some folks but if this is an indication, I'll pass. Too many other quality websites I can use.
I have bought on Poshmark and it's way more miss than hit. They allow for very limited conversation with sellers, and no refunds. That's right, no refunds. It looks like people have rummaged through thrift shops and when they hit a brand label, toss it on a hanger and sell it, smells and all. It's just disgusting, a very bad business model. I've seen items with higher price tags that that item is on sale new!
Beware, you will never get a refund, they want to turn you into a seller, to "reposh" it. Forgetaboutit. Go back to Ebay! (sorry, I threw the last Poshmark purchase in the garbage and deleted photos of it because they wouldn't do anything)
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
Poshmark is the #1 place to buy and sell fashion. Shop millions of closets across America? And sell yours too!
