This is the message I get every time I try to use Poshmark, so I guess I will have to spend my money elsewhere.
There is absolutely no support from Poahmark to help sellers resolve issues with buyers I end having to make it right at my expense Example Buyers need to understand that as they are able to bundle items to save on shipping if bundle exceeds 5 lbs at 7.95 shipping increases on the sellers end to 10.95 which I need to absorb Yet buyers are constantly pushed to bundle But im constantly absorbing the increase in the shipping end! So im forced to only discount my goods by 30% instead of my usual 50-60 % off retail prices Why should I constantly take the hit I tried only offering bundles with the 5 lb weight limit costing 7.95 ( poshmark prices) and was scolded by Poshmark Im not happy with poshmark charging sellers 20% for non existing support I know they are there because they remove that 20% and are very fast to collect & check balances & credits I'll be shopping around soon for a better platform
Customer bought a designer belt, in excellent condition. I had several photo's of the front and the back, NO damage! Close up photo's; I wanted to be transparent. Suddenly after 34 hours from delivery, there was suddenly damage-maybe from the shipping. What? I've sold A LOT and only have 5 star reviews. They didn't ask for additional pictures or even respond when I submitted comments. Just that they were allowing her to send it back. So now I have a damaged item... I won't be using them anymore. I emptied out my closet and I'm waiting to get paid from the last 3 items that were sent out this week to close the account completely. Unfortunate that they didn't do research. They just took this fraudulent customer's word for it.
In spite of a no tolerance for price gouging Poshmark has many listings for a Lululemon everywhere bag anywhere from $75.00 to $160.00 that retails for $38.00 plus tax brand new. I personally own a few of these bags from the retailer Lululemon. I will never shop on Poshmark or recommend them. My two cents is use great care getting poshed seems to be the standard. Always do your homework first buying from this site. I also ordered a dress, never heard from the seller, yet they charged my credit card and I then had to wait 7 days to cancel order from a seller that never responded and now I have to wait 2 weeks for a refund.
Always will start with the good poshmark gives you great opportunities to sell to a consistent market of people who shop I will always say it is a great place to sell items of any kind... now with that being said they are bias, very strict in rules, i get theybare trying to create a very great buying platform thats ssfe for buyers but it is one sided for sellers also filled with people selling replicated stuff. You have people also using the platform to hate on other sellers they will report your items as fake just because or for competitive purposes all in all poshmark is not reasonable enough to protect the seller and is to strict with cancelling accounts for pettiness any other platform will give several chances because people are human they make mistakes they fail they just need chances but here they are very strict cut and dry terrible with that side of them and not reasonable customer service
This is the worst place to sell on because they do not respect or appreciate their sellers! We maje them so much money and instead of a THANK YOU they will suspend your closet and keep all of your hard work with photos deleted! If you PROVE that they are wrong for suspending your closet, they will NOT APOLOGIZE, instead they will THREATEN you with closing it again if they see fit! Horrible way to do business and they WILL fall!
Absolutely the worst app to choose in terms of shopping or selling online. No support for sellers, Poshmark provides misleading & incorrect information. Shoppers consistently submit low ball offers & sellers are subjected to the highest fees to sell; more than double of the other apps. Don't waste your time or money on the garage they are trying to pass off as authentic. Poshmark should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat their sellers & how their Ambassadors gauge the customers with their fake knock offs. I would given a zero rating, However, this wasn't an option.
This is my first and last experience with Poshmark. I purchase a pair of shoes from the website listed as a valentino authentic shoes. Turned out it is not valentino, but mario valentino. The customer service after one week silence and didn't even give me any reason to close the case simply saying it is not qualified to file a return. So I'd rather use TRR. All stuff you buy from Poshmark is final. Too bad, sellers can trick u and false advertise. I just wasted 200 dollars to learn a lesson.
Seller sent me, some plastic bags, of trash.
I ask to do a return. Posh Mark, said no.
They allowed me to be ripped off.
Can't get any help with chat or simple way to. Communicate. No phone to talk to person. I give up even trying and I recieved a beautiful piece but it was broken. Will no longer attempt to do anything further
I sold a jacket in excellent condition, the buyer tore the jacket and claimed it arrived in that condition. Clearly my photos show the jacket without any rips, tears. Poshmark sided with the buyer, now I'm out money and a jacket that was returned damaged by the buyer. I closed my account and will never sell on this site again. Anyone can clearly see the jacket i sold was in no way torn. The buyer complete destroyed the jacket, she could of returned it, not rip it up.
Please beware of your buyers, clearly poshmark is blind and cannot see the condition the jacket was in before sent to the buyer, which was in excellent condition.
I was a buyer and seller on Poshmark. I once loved this place as it felt a little bit better than others in every way. But things changed as I started to make more sells and I had to use Customer Service more. I would ask questions that were met with answers that had nothing to do with my question. For example, I asked if people can see my love notes. This was answered by saying that they were sorry but they were never going to remove my bad review as they stood behind it Etc etc etc. Cut and paste replies. My last transaction was a Starbucks Tumbler that had not hit the shelves yet which I purchased at full ask price and full shipping price. This seller sat on the Tumbler for 8 days before they shipped it. Poshmark would block my efforts to stop the sale in every way. I finally receive it and wrote Poshmark. They immediately closed the ticket and paid out the seller and themselves BEFORE I opened the package. When they asked how I felt about their decision, I hit the red face emoji. My last email was the most personable and threatening. They email me to offer a coupon and tell me that if I don't close the ticket, it would negatively affect my account and payment to my bank. This company is the worst I have ever seen and I will never give them a chance again.
I searched for a specific pair of jeans on Google. They came up for sale on Poshmark. Naturally, not knowing which size would work best, I ordered a pair in size 28 and 29. Knowing nothing about Poshmark — I assumed I could return the pair that didn't fit. I feel Poshmark should make it abundantly clear for people being directed to a listing from Google how the platform actually works! It was NOT made clear at all. It's not fair to those of us who don't understand. It's feels a bit like a bait and switch. Now I'm out $52+ and stuck with an extra pair of jeans that don't fit. All I can do is try to educate others as best I can by writing reviews based on my EXTREMELY disappointing experience with Poshmark!
I ordered a handbag, and it did NOT state that it was the older model.
The older model has rounded handles which dig into my shoulders. I have shoulder issues, and would not be able to use this handbag/tote.
As soon as I saw that, I sent them an email. They wanted pictures and then more pictures in a specified lighting. I tried calling, however, the recording stated that
They are not taking calls, and the mailbox was FULL. Are you kidding? Then they ruled against me. This company should not be allowed to exist! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! P.S. An over $200 lesson to be learned!
I sold brand new 100% authentic brand name bag for $300.
This is a typical switch scam but Poshmark let her won this case. I can' t believe it.
Buyer opened a case saying this is fake, posting a photo of her fake bag, which is NOT I sent.
I did provide a receipt from nordstrom. Still, Poshmark let her win a case.
She will put a fake bag to me for return or she won't even return anything.
She kept a band new brand name bag for free.
I want my money back!
I have made 39 purchases on Poshmark. Of these purchases I:
-Disliked six items that just weren't comfortable or the size didn't fit. This is reasonable to expect this to occur.
-Three items were never shipped by the seller. There I was eagerly anticipating them and days went by and there was no response from the seller and the item never went out. When a sale is canceled (because you cancel or it times out, you don't get to leave feedback on the transaction. What?!)
-One item (a designer bag) came with pen marks all over the inside that were not disclosed. I sent it back. The bag was priced not much less than retail. I ended up paying maybe $20 more to get the bag with a teacher discount new from the designer's site.
Now maybe you are thinking that 4 out of almost 40 experiences were negative. But that's 10%. Throw in the items that didn't work (but that you cannot return on Poshmark) and 25% of my purchases were a thumbs down.
POSHMARK- you need to give buyers the opportunity to review sellers who don't complete the transaction. There is ZERO accountability for sellers who just don't follow through. Also, the shipping practices are hit/miss. I received a silk scarf shipped in a large flat rate box and I sometimes get things where additional USPS materials are used inside a package as packaging. This is wrong and environmentally not friendly. I'd like a first class option for shipping for t-shirts and scarves and things of that sort.
The amount of EVIL EYE on this site is insane
(envious people who will report your listing to get them deleted)
Was perm banned for no reason. So had a family member make an account to sell my items, with permission. They were banned before anything sold (different device) again reported for no reason.
A few years ago this was a great EFFICENT website
I sold a pair of USED work boots. Customer complains that the soles are too worn. I explained they could be re soled by manufacture. She admits she should have asked for more pictures and it was her fault. Clearly the customer knows how Poshmark works and will approve any return for any reason. Poshmark approved her return Even though it should have been
This person posted some shoes on poshmark & whe I received the shoes they had a tint of light sage & the packaging was awful. No thank you note & when I decided to do a return claim Poshmark denied it. The seller very argumentative with me when I was sending a message to poshmark. Anyhow with this incident I've decided not to buy from poshmark. This is the name of the seller on poshmark. Alex
*******@alexpmahl. Very rude person
Poshmark protects there profit by denying you refund request and then you are stuck with a piece of junk.
I purchased a pearl ring and when I received it, the pearl looked like a tooth. Horrible. I requested a return and the seller kept saying pearls are like snowflakes and no two are alike. I said no because I've seen to many pearls that are round. Poshmark stood by the seller and I'm out $250.
Don't buy anything from Poshmark. Satisfaction is not guaranteed.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
